Just behind city center
Little room, but with freezer and microwave
Change of towels every day
Shared toilet with bathtub taken all the place so wc with no room to "mingle" and because of a shelf it was a bit awkward getting to the sink
( All right: i am a big Dane! )

The booking, com information was a bit ambiguous about the bathroom. I got a feeling that it was attached, but it wasn't.

Great place to be. Very quiet for a good night rest after a heavy day at work.
Room, electrical appliance provision, clean bedding, nice interior

The full Irish breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. The wifi signal was very reliable and there was a TV in the room. Very convenient and central to Peterborough with a Chinese takeaway just down the road.

Full Irish breakfast was superb as always and sets you up for the day. The host is genial polite and helpful. 5 Minute walk and you're in town, good shopping and great pubs. 15 minutes walk to the railway station ( or £5 taxi ride ). This is my second visit but definitely not my last!

I was excited by the reviews but severely disappointed on arrival after work, where I was escorted through a building that stank of cannabis to a top floor attic room. The proprietor distracted my attention to the windows whilst telling me the room needed a refurb as he wanted to put french doors and a balcony in. I was uncomfortable but concerned as a woman alone in an attic upstairs with a man. To cut a long story short I left at 9pm after finding dangerous things throughout the evening.
Dangerous heavy glass lamp hanging precariously from the ceiling by exposed wires; extension leads plugged into extension leads, resulting in a bright white spark and near electrocution when unplugging the oil filled rad to attempt to warm up the side of the room near bathroom (I couldn’t work out where to turn off the wall switch); filthy and dusty electric extractor fan; shower on exposed stilts; smell of cannabis throughout property; no open reception area to check out as I tried to at 9pm before even sleeping the night, instead I left the keys on the side and after booking and finding a new venue to stay in. I sent a message to the proprietor out of courtesy in case there was a fire. He has lied and stated I stayed the night and left the keys at 7am!

The room was comfortable and heated (which was a massive positive given the change in weather recently). Kevin was a superb host and the breakfast was fantastic.
The flooring in the bedroom was too big and not stuck down (not a major issue though and one I didn’t care too much about).

It was very spacious and comfy. Would definitely stay again.
There was a lot of banging from the people upstairs all through the night.

room was tiny , not fully clean , some areas were tatty in the bathroom and around the room , cobwebs , TV very old and signal was poor , It was cold in the room until i turned up the radiator.

I don’t like anything about the property, I have given a room not related to the picture in the booking , so poor value for the money, once I requested a room corresponding to the picture , the host with so unprofessional communication told me I will refund your money , I was roaming in the street in very cold weather, wasted so precious time as my exam was at 8.00 am second day , I paid £98 for another booking , it was one of the worst ever experiences with booking.com
So bad communication skills for the host.
The room not the room I offered in the pictures.
I have been evicted by the host when I asked another room.
Simply it is so awful experience.

The twin bedroom no. 5 is excellent

The room had everything needed but there were flaws. The shower doors stuck sometimes, the taps in the washbasin were loose and the plug didn’t work. The lino between bathroom and bedroom was unstuck in the doorway and access to one side of the bed was very poor. There was loose carpeting on the steep stairs, but breakfast was superb. The best ever in a B&B.
See above.

For a centrally located hotel the room cost is tremendous value. Stayed in a budget room which was perfectly adequate for my overnight stay and the host, Kevin's, full English was delicious too. Will certainly book again on my next trip to Peterborough.
All good

I was met and greated by a child instead the adult owner.
I was tricked because I booked for a twin room but what I got was a double room. The room was smelly, dirty, moulded with cracked walls. The room couldn't be locked from inside. Everytime someone moved, a creaking sound can be heard as if someone is walking towards my door. It gave me a sleepless night considering I would be working next day. It was a terrible night. I never had a decent sleep. Additionally , the room was situated beside the main road, you could hear the traffic all night. I haven't managed to sleep and i was worried everytime as everytime i hear the creaking sound i felt anxious as someone seems to attempt to open my door.
I felt very itchy throughout the night due to possible bugs as the bed didn't seem tidy and clean. The duvet wasn't clearly cleaned.

I never got to stay here for the property was unihabitable
Everything, that was why i could not stay here even the carpets were riped and dirty. Th place they ask to park the car is across the road on busy street parking and me and my friend had to head off as you are surrounded by such weird persons.

Owner & staff were very friendly & welcoming. Free parking on cul-de-sac road outside. Breakfast was freshly cooked & HUGE. Properly sets you up for the day. Room was clean & well stocked for it's size. Just a short walk into the town centre. Bed was comfortable. Despite being a very small room it was well equipped with fridge, kettle, microwave, heater, fan etc.
Room & furnishings a bit old & tired, but everything was clean & worked OK.

Breakfast, full English was absolutely delicious. Very generous amounts on the plate, two of most items, and was quickly and well presented. There was fresh Orange juice, lots of different cereals available as well as Fresh Fruit.
Also, many different flavour tea bags were in a rack at the end of each table. A pot of tea was brought to the table. The meal looked and tasted fantastic.
The Dining area is well laid out and has lots of interesting things there to see, mainly to do with Ireland, which is where Kevin, the owner, comes from.
What pleased and surprised me was that a large fridge and a Microwave oven were provided in my room for my use. I did not expect these, but they were extremely useful and enabled the cooking/heating of food, which saved spending extra money on meals out.
This is a very budget Guest House, for those who want/need a low price. My single room was absolutely fine and great value at £25 per night. The room had a large walk-in cupboard with a hanging rail for clothing, which was a little high, but there were no coathangers at all. Thankfully, I had taken three with me for my use.
Hooks on the door for hanging clothes would have been helpful and also a place to hang a towel, such as a rail of a hook. There was very inadequate worktop/tabletop space for guest use, preparing, eating food or sorting things, or for putting bags/suitcases on.
The door into the room was badly fitted and there was a large uneven gap at the foot of the door.
A small simple chair in the room would have been appreciated, just a basic wooden chair would have been good to have.
The staircase of about 20 steps was extremely steep, which is not good particularly when carrying bags up. The owner, Kevin, did carry up my heavy suitcase, on arrival, and he showed me to my room.
Finally, the shared bathroom, of which I was aware at the time of booking, was small and not particularly clean. The bolt on the inside of the door was badly fitted and broke away the wood on day 2, making it unable to be locked.

Walking distance from station and central of town. Room with everything. Nice people running the place.
