Awesome place for quiet get away. Would stay again!

The location is awesome. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The facilities are nice and comfortable.

TV remote needed new batteries. We were unable to utilize the flat screen.

Review

The view outside the balcony. Bed was comfortable. Stray cats were super friendly. Villa was very clean. No issues with check in and check out.

The listing was not very clear. I didn't realize there was an upstairs. I actually thought we were getting upstairs. Also, finding the place was difficult. We got lost. If there was a map that would be a life savor.

Peaceful, mountain oasis with views

The property was secluded in a gated community with amazing views of BVI! The furnishings and interior were modern and clean. The host was responsive and helpful. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. Also, closet had everything you needed for a day of snorkeling, beach chairs, coolers, lanterns, etc. Very well equipped. Washer and dryer available.

Due to the location, you definitely would need a car or the only option would be to organize taxis to pick you up to get to beaches and restaurants. Unfortunately, the outdoor furniture specifically the cushions were not clean so we were not able to enjoy that space.

Great property, I loved it!

The property is clean, neat and has a beautiful view. It was very quiet I didn’t want to leave. It has everything you need away from home. Just a lovely ambiance. The host David is also very nice , and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again, and I highly recommended others as well. Thanks guys!!

5 star quality property, fabulous host, great location, a quiet oasis.

Location was great, host was friendly and normal, space was magnificent, I thoroughly enjoyed it, views are spectacular, very very cozy and relaxing truly an oasis.

it was a fantastic experience. The washer took a little too long.

Liked the view and the size of the apartment and how quiet it was plus owner was very responsive

Extra kitchen towel would be good plus the bedspread probably needs replacing

Extremely overpriced and not accommodating

The location and seclusion was nice.

The equipment there for beach was damaged and some unusable. Host was unable to be reached my entire trip. The Apple TV did not work. I bought my k n device then the internet went out for the last 4 days and as I said couldn’t reach host so I was unable to get any issues I had resolved.

Paradise!

The common areas and views were spectacular! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook (equipment-wise, not food). The bedrooms were well-equipped and the beds were very comfy! The main bedroom with the ensuite and access to the balcony was amazing. Both bathrooms featured "outdoor" showered with screens, so you could hear all the birds, crickets, etc, but it wasn't buggy at all. We loved that there was a closet full of beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas, etc. It made our visit to Magen's Bay (which is about a 10 min drive away) even better! We wish we could have stayed longer!

The location is remote, but that's why the views are amazing! Big Love Taxi is familiar with the area and we called them several times with no problem.

I liked the view, very beautiful interior. About a 30 minute walk to and from Magens Bay Beach it’s tolerable if you’re in shape. Will need a rental car otherwise you’ll pay $20 per taxi ride to and from.

Wish it had a pool, that would make this property exceptional. Wifi sucks, Netflix would go in and out. Humid keep the fans on.

Exceptional

Everything was exceptional. Look just like the pictures. The villa was beautiful and super clean. Would recommend to others.

Some of the lighting coming up the stairs were out. I could not find the outside light. Other than that I had awesome time!

Chateau Nightwind was a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

The property did not seem to match the photos on Booking.com. The photos appear to have been of the top half of the property so we felt that was a little misleading. In addition, given the above and the location of the property, we think the cost of staying at the property was too steep.

One Night in Paradise

Location. View. Overall physical layout. Spaciousness. Decor. Cleanliness. Comfortable beds. Seating in family room.

Lack of consistent air conditioning. At the same time, the issue could have been User Error. The ceiling fans and natural breeze were more than sufficient.

guest bed squeaked badly. a map should be included with documents. all parties had difficulty finding the property even w taxi. Gardeners and pest controls came early and woke us all up.

We had no water in the morning. The owner did send someone to fix it. It was not as pictured on the internet. I thought we were renting the house, but if you look closely we were renting a studio apt. under the house.

Quit looking & book this house before someone else does!

I liked everything about this property! The host was incredible, he had great communication throughout the entire stay. The views from this house are second to none! If the homeowner would sell this house to me I would buy it tomorrow if that means anything to you.

Heavenly breezes, stunning views, with all the comforts of home and then some!!

The location was sublime, the apartment and fully equipped kitchen tastefully appointed, Viking pots and pans a nice touch, the breezes were divine, the view stupendous. As my friend and travel companion remarked, it felt like a treehouse for grownups! The walk down to the beach was manageable, and getting back up by taxi was easy and affordable by local transport standards, with taxis available until the beach closing time of 6pm.

Everything was perfect.

Magical

The view from the deck was absolutely stunning. Relaxing in the hot tub at night was perfect after busy days exploring the islands. Will definitely be recommending this beautiful home!

Only the bedrooms were air conditioned but it’s understandable and it really didn’t bother us that much.

Very good

It’s beautiful. Comfortable. Incredible views and in close proximity to the best beach on the island.

Trouble was not having been able to rent a car. Most cab drivers don’t know how to get to the property and can be quite unpleasant to deal with.

Magens Bay Villa retreat

The property was spacious and offered a lovely view of the water. The host was accessible and pleasant. The villa was well stocked with beach equipment (though we did not have the opportunity to use it).

The villa, though nice, seems slightly overpriced (even by St Thomas standards). There were a lot of 'little things' that should have been attended to (given the price) but were not: missing screens, non-locking doors, non-sliding doors, damaged patio furniture fabric, AC remote did not work, etc. It is also quite far from everything-except Magens Beach. A car is a must or one can develop a relationship with one of the local cab companies (we recommend St Thomas Discount Cab Service and Mason) but, otherwise, expect to be stranded. On the whole, however, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend the villa.

We booked a one bedroom villa which turned out to be a studio apartment. We had bad luck with the people staying in the other unit upstairs. They made a lot of noise until late a night.
