Quirky, well thought out accommodation. Excellent facilities, excellent location and lovely little extras left by the owners.

Excellent location, fantastic parking, beautifully decorated. And wonderful hosts (not on site but got to meet them and made us feel so welcome) so lovely of Ian and Jan to allow us to bring our cat. And they have such a lovely cat and dogs. Thank you for our wonderful stay. Looking forward to coming back.

Fantastic location. Apartment well equipped and hosts friendly and welcoming. Great value given the date and location.

Everything about this accommodation was of the highest standard. The quality of the furnishings, bed linen, towels, was luxurious. It was lovely and thoughtful of our hosts to have all the little extras.....they made us feel so comfortable right from the start of our stay.
At great location in a wonderful village.

Our host Ian, was very obliging. We arrived to gifts of wine, beer, bread, Welsh butter and cheese, jam and snacks. A lovely surprise. Betws-y-Coed is a spectacular little village, close to Snowdonia National Park. The apartment was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week's stay.

Beautifully presented. Nice little touches in the apartment.
Shower pressure was a little weak

Sympathetically restored historic building making it unique but extremely comfortable, catering for all our modern day needs. A total gem in a beautiful location. Great food recommendations from Ian too. Absolutely brilliant. :)
Loved it all.

Path to the door. If fully paved would be better. But we do accept that as it is now, it does allow for better drainage when rain falls.

Excellent location modern well equipped property. On arrival we were greeted with some little extras .. fridge with some fiz beer and soft drinks and so extremely delicious homemade bara brith cake, all of which were gratefully received. Will definitely book with Ian and Jan in the future

Location was good. Breakfast as such was not supplied. In the fridge were two different juices and some milk. Also we received a gift of a bottle of locally brewed beer and a bottle of prosecco. Thank you! We were also left some locally made fruit bread (delicious) and butter which we ate for breakfast on the first morning. Subsequent breakfasts were supplied by us.
The flat was fine and pretty much as expected. The instruction book could have been a bit more explicit, particularly regarding how to work all the digital devices such as the shower. The instruction book should also have mentioned there was a fantastic deli in the village. We did most of our required food shopping at the other two small and very ordinary shops before we found out about the deli. Finally we were disappointed that, despite the building being right on the river the apartment did not have any access except through the owners' garden. We sat in there one afternoon but it was not very comfortable with so many hard surfaces on such a hot day. Some grass would have been wonderful. Finally, The owners need to give better instructions on how to retrieve the access key. Fortunately they left the front door open for us but our arrival was unsatisfactory and we spent the first night with the front door unlocked.

Perfect location. Walking distance to the village green- perfect for our football mad 9 year old, who joined in playing football with other children there in the evenings. Also, walking distance to pubs and restaurants.
There is nothing negative to report.

The property was stunning! The location was fantastic! Although, it looked beautiful in pictures, it looked even better in person! We would definitely return. The owners were really lovely and attentive too and no request was too much. The property contained everything you would reasonably need.
If we had to moan, it would be that you must leave by 10am sharp. 9:59am the cleaner was at the door and it felt a bit rushed - that being said, it did categorically say 10am the cleaner arrives, so aside from feeling a bit flustered, there was no real problem.

Fixtures and fittings of good quality. Extra home comforts such as throws and rugs luxurious.
There was also a lovely welcome pack of local produce and biscuits for our little pooch. All in all a lovely apartment within walking distance of lots of lovely quaint shops, eateries and walks. A magical place to stay.

The Apartment was exceptionally well-equipped and comfortable. The welcome pack was really generous. It was well located near the centre of Betws-y-coed. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation was very cosy and comfortable, with a really well appointed modern kitchen, dining area, lounge with tv, a high quality shower room (really nice hot shower :-)) and a comfy bedroom. There was a wonderful array of local food to welcome us - fresh bread, local cheese and butter, jam and marmalade, snacks, and even ale, cider and prosecco! The owners, Jan and Ian, were very helpful and friendly without being overbearing at all. They were there if we needed them (they live next door) and chatty when we saw them but otherwise left us to it. The location is really fab - round the corner from all the shops and amenities in Betws-Y-Coed and in a lovely spot near the river. Jan and Ian also gave us access to an external socket so we could charge our electric car and were very reasonable about the additional cost. We had a really wonderful holiday and would highly recommend staying at the Chambers Apartment!
There was not much we didn't like really! The layout of the flat is a little unusual, as you have to walk through the bathroom from the lounge to get to the bedroom. This meant that my husband and I had to check with each other when we were using the bathroom to avoid anyone being stuck where they were. This was not a big issue though, and we easily got the hang of it. The only other point to note is that there was a bit of noise from evening revellers outside the local pubs. The noise always ended around 11pm though, so it would only be a problem if you wanted an early night. One last note - if you like a firm bed this would be great for you. We're used to a soft/medium bed so it wasn't ideal for us, but that's really a personal thing.

Communication from Jan was great and we even got the benefit of a late check out!
We hope to return and highly recommend.
Nothing.
