It was great, good location, clean, roomy and comfortable
All was good! Didn't find anything wrong with it. Would stay again

This was a great space for our family (2 adults and 2kids) rather than being squashed in a hotel room. The apartment is finished to an exceptionally high standard
Nothing
4.5
The apartment was very modern and well appointed. It was a wonderful place for our family to end a 4 week holiday and spend some time together as opposed to separate hotel rooms. The concierge was very helpful. Would highly recommend.
The dryer did not work. The concierge did offer some assistance with workarounds but it was frustrating to not be able to dry clothes when we wanted. The auto light in the bathroom was a bit blinding in the middle of the night. I would suggest a night light would be sufficient. There wasn't room in main bedroom for suitcases so we had to store them in the hallway. Not the end of the world.

Amazing location, spacious apartments with a lift and good for a large group.
We rented two apartments and the microwave in one didn't work and there was no attempt to fix it or relay that it didn't work, so some of the plans to save money and time by reheating were extended due to using the range. Not an impossible task obviously but was a surprise.

It’s location. The apartment could be so special.
Shoddy which is madness given the price.

Gostamos de tudo, do espaço, e principalmente da cama.
Faltou um saca-rolhas, um escorredor de massa e um escorredor de pratos, mas não foi um problema.

Location.
Under the bed needs to be vacuumed, dirt & dust everywhere.
No clothes drying rack.
No spatula in kitchen.
No hair dryer.

I looked at many properties and reviews before booking Chancery Lane. I wanted a place with an A/C that slept 3 comfortably and was not too far out. Well this exceeded my expectations. Everything was exactly as described. It was perfect for 3 people. We did use a/c and the washing machine/dryer. Wifi was great, but you have to go to the network and login with the pass code on the network box in the closet. It was super convenient to 2 tube lines.
It is perfect if you are going to the theatre. There are lots of great restaurants a short walk away. Covent Gardens is a lovely 15 minute walk and it offers restaurants, shopping, etc. We even walked to Harrods and Trafalgar Square. Joseph was very friendly and helpful. Look forward to a return trip.
I was not sure what to do with the key, but that worked out fine.

The location was excellent. Covent Garden, Seven Dials, British Museum, St. Paul's and a lot more were within 20 minutes walking distance. Everything else was a short distance via taxi or public transportation. The apartment itself was very nice, well furnished and well equipped. Bedrooms were small, but that's true for pretty much every property in the area. Strongly recommend this property for a London visit.
All bathrooms should have a mirror above the sink, not 2 out of 3! The carpet needs to be steam cleaned (they were clean but had old stains on them). Need instructions on how to return apartment keys if checking out on the weekend (no one at the front desk on the weekend).
3.0
good location
lack of information. Poor communication. flat not clean, or of standard.
2.0
Location.
Building has elevators and AC
The bed was comfortable
Extremely overpriced !
Very hard to figure out light controls, AC control, stove/oven control. Not user-friendly or intuitive.
The drain in the shower cabin is clogged and if you shower more than 5 minutes, the water splashes to the floor over the shower door.
The apartment pretends to be a modern design but it’s so minimalistic and lacks needed conveniences, such as a tall mirror ( the only one in the bathroom is placed so high that you have to tiptoe to see just part of your face!), a few hooks or some hangers at the door for umbrellas or jackets ( which you’re in a constant need of in London).
Even though there is a washing machine, there is no clothes rack to dry, so it was absolutely useless.
The blinds in a living room are impossible to control because the cord is placed so high that even tall person of 6’ can’t reach it. So we had to keep them closed all the time and it was always dark in the room because the window faces a brick wall of the next building.
The most mysterious and extremely inconvenient thing was the clear glass wall and a glass door in between the bedroom and living room ( without any blackout covers on them).
In description it says “ one bedroom apartment “, but in reality there is no privacy at all. If one of us wanted to watch a TV in a living room and another one wants to sleep in the bedroom- it’s simply impossible.
There is only one very heavy and warm blanket on the bed, I had to ask for a light one, but was supplied with duvet-cover instead, only on our second night.
Even it’s advertised as a not smoking building,we felt some stale cigarette smell in a hallway and in our apartment.
The huge stains on the living room ceiling complete the whole picture.
My conclusion is that for $410 per night we could’ve had a perfect hotel room with everyday service and included breakfast .
I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Very modern and comfortable apartment. Great location. So nice to have the space of an apartment when traveling with a family instead of just being in a hotel room!
We had an issue with the hot water and the air conditioning our first days (which happened to be a weekend so no staff on site) but they were very nice and moved us to a bigger and better unit which solved the problem first thing on Monday!
4.5
There is no breakfast included. They do provide some coffee pods and tea bags. Nice building in good neighborhood. Reception is manned M-F 9-5. Many eateries nearby. Secure entrance as access to the building is only w fob. Presence of a washer/dryer is good for a longer stay...but nowhere to hang laundry that needs to air dry.
bedroom closet door barely has room to open because bed takes up so much of the room, so it is not a useful closet. No useful hanging space anywhere in the apt. No dishwasher.
Should have more hooks in bathroom, coat rack in living room, and in general more hanging options for clothes and umbrella stand, given how rainy London can be.

Emma's apartment was excellent, we could not have asked for anymore. We were allowed to have an extra late check out as our flights to Australia were in the evening, this gave us some extra time in London and we were not rushed. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation and would definitely return. Thankyou so very much!
There was not anything we did not like.

Perfect location. Nicely furnished and exceptionally clean
Could not sign on to the Wi-Fi. Some instructions would be nice - we didn’t know where to take out the rubbish and recycling.

Apartment was In an excellent position. It was a 2 bedroom so had plenty of room. It is noted we had only booked a 1bedroom.
Emma was good when we had problems.
Had a couple of problems with fixture & fittings, which could have been avoided if proper checks done or maybe ask guests to let you know about issues in the instructions on their departure.
1.5
Location fine but still a 10 minutes walk to the nearest underground. Busstops nearby
host was not very helpfull, everything you asked took some time before she answered. The coffeemachine was excellent only there where not enough ( 2 pieces) coffeepads ( so only if you want to go to Harrods to buy these expensive coffeepads you will be able to enjoy some coffee (you can not buy them in the normal supermarkets,) There was a loud noise all the time. you had to play hide and seek to find the wifi code, there was no rack to put on your washed clothes . There were not enough soup bowls , plates, dishes or what so ever. there was no proper table where you can sit on and have diner. There was no book how to use a simple thing like the lights or the climate control.

No one reason
This was the worst experience of my life. It is extremely difficult to work with. I was informed my room was not available due to the WiFi not working. The room I was put in was dirty and horrible as I had to listen to a nightclub till 3am. This place in similar to an Airbnb. No one to great you or help you.
The owner refuses to give me an invoice after multiple messages, calls and is happy to provide lies and excuses to why it is not possible. I strongly recommend you do not stay here. Booking.com has been very slow to respond.

Great size for our family. Clean. Has a lift. Easy access to property. Check-in was easy. Spacious.
We weren’t sure how things worked. It would have even been nice to have a binder with notes to include the WiFi password and how to use the appliances, heat, and towel warmers. Although the WiFi password was accessible, it was not convenient. Just a little thing.
No redeeming view out of any window. the shades were drawn the entire trip as there was absolutely nothing of interest to see outside. Looking out one side was trash/recycling and the other a rooftop.
It was loud. People were dumping bottles late into the night (midnight) right outside the bedroom windows. I had to wear ear plugs.
Bathroom sinks and primary shower drain slowly but didn’t affect our stay. No plug in the primary bathroom for a hairdryer or other appliance. The towel warmer worked off and on. It was usually off. One day, we returned to find it had been on all day and was quite warm.
The black shades in the living room need to be cleaned. They are very dusty.
This is a superb location if you are working nearby. However, it was much further from the things we wanted to do while on holiday. Not a ton of restaurants to choose from in the immediate area, and everything closes at 10:00 pm. Make reservations when possible.

too expensive , 500 euros per day

The location is terrific, with an easy short walk to the buses and an easy, but longer, walk to two tube stations. The area is good, and relatively quiet for a large city, and the building is secure. The flats are roomy and afford a lot of privacy, especially because of the separate bedrooms with ensuite baths. The beds are fabulous and there is phenomenal closet space. The lift is spacious and fast. A few Nespresso pods, laundry detergent and dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc. are provided initially to get you started. Emma, the booking manager, and Joseph, the concierge, are both top-notch - very easy to communicate with and service-oriented.
The HVAC, which appears to have complex energy-saving features installed when the building was remodeled into flats, is inexplicable; however, the concierge is available to help with adjustments. The windows don't open or are nearly impossible to get open, at least in one flat we were in. The Smeg, Gaggerau, and other European style appliances are in some cases state of the art but come with no instruction manuals and are not necessarily intuitive to operate. We stayed in two flats, and looked at one other, and all of them had a significant number of stairs inside the flat, either down to a bedroom or a bathroom, or to the common rooms. These are serviced flats, not an apartment hotel or suites hotel, where everything is standard and attended 24/7. I think it's ideal for a longer vacation or a long-term rental so that you have time to settle in. If you're coming for a short stay come in the daytime when there is someone there to meet you, show you how to operate the appliances, and answer any questions you have. My advice is to ask Emma via Booking.com all the questions you might have; she's very very nice, and knowledgeable about the building.
