The house was very clean and had everything a person would need (except it could use paper & pen for taking notes). The neighborhood is extremely quiet. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative - high 90's & low 100's everyday and houses in San Diego don't have Central Air. The bedrooms have portable Air Conditioners, so sleeping was comfortable. Parking was never a problem because the street is so quiet that finding a spot is easy.

Beautiful, welcoming, comfortable, clean home with great location in N. Pacific Beach. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and the beach. Enjoyed morning walks for coffee and breakfast nearby. Comfortable beds, quality linens, well-equipped kitchen, nice amenities.
The fountain in the front yard located outside the living room windows is tranquil and attracts hummingbirds.

The house was so well appointed. We didnt need to purchase or pack anything extra. Great location! About 20 min to everything San Diego has to offer plus just blocks from the beach. Great local restaurants walking distance from the house. The host was easy to communicate with and left a sweet gift card to a local bakery:) My husband and four children ranging from ages 18 to 7 stayed for an entire week and loved relaxing on the porch and coming back to the house every evening after our activities.

We stayed with teens and grandparents and absolutely loved our time at Lila's place. Located on a nice quiet street in Pacific Beach, this was a wonderful retreat from bustling San Diego. A quick drive to Mission Beach or downtown made it a great location - and you can walk to the beach if you want to. Lila was welcoming and responsive and the house was exactly as described and very clean. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends. Thank you!

This home is exactly as presented in the listing. Updated, attractively decorated, very clean with extra touches that make your stay that much more pleasurable. We especially loved the fixtures in the master bath. We have stayed at VRBOs all over the world and Lila’s extra touches are unparalleled and add ease to your stay. Plentiful and great quality toiletries with sufficient quantities that won’t have you running out during your vacation for necessities. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with great restaurants and shopping nearby with Tourmaline Surf Park Beach literally down the street. My wife is a ocean lover and avid sheller who had some incredible finds on this beach. The uncomparable La Jolla Village and coast line are just a short drive away. We definitely recommend this property and would definitely book again.

This house is in a great location. It is a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to great restaurants. It was a beautiful space that was carefully designed. The house had everything we needed, and more! It was a great take off point to get to all that San Diego had to offer but we also spent lots of time in the neighborhood!

Lila and David’s place was perfect for our family of four plus my in-laws. We loved having our own “wing” of the house for my family while my in laws took the master suite and could sleep in. Having two, super comfortable king sized beds was fantastic.
Our hosts have thought of too many details to mention in one review - but we are thankful for the top notch accommodations and would whole heartedly recommend booking this house!

We were pleasantly surprised with this home. The home gives a modern beach vibe with a spacious front patio great for enjoying your morning coffee. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly need and is located near all that pacific beach has to offer.
One thing to note is that the owners do live on the property towards the back so you do not have access to the backyard. Although the owners are on site, it was not an issue as they are very courteous to their guest and you could hardly tell they’re there.

This home is impeccable, the calming decor and beautiful updates relieve stress as soon as you walk in the door! Beds are comfortable as well, bathrooms and kitchen are beautifully done and very clean. Your host has thought of everything and she is in communication with you along the way - she is available if there are any questions. The location is great as well, lots of shops, restaurants nearby and the beach is about a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive!

We stayed 4 nights in January. Plenty of room and great amenities. This is not party spot! Geat walking neighborhood away from freeways and business districts. Can walk to coffee etc in about 4 blocks and can be at the beach in 6 blocks.

The home was beautiful, matched the posted pictures. Updated style, clean, many amenities that made our family vacation very nice. Front patio area was private, beautifully landscaped and a perfect place for coffee in the mornings. The area was safe and close to a surf park and also near to Pacific Beach and numerous San Diego attractions. Lila was a wonderful hostess and quick to respond, offered many useful trip suggestions. This home was beautiful and very clean. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from toiletries, kitchen equipment, and even stuff to take to the beach. The host was very nice, informative, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here with the family for vacation.

Gorgeous Beach Retreat!
Lila’s house is amazing – it is absolutely stunning, quite, clean, and calming, even better than the photos could capture! Lila herself, is an amazing host and respond quickly with any questions and gave us great advice on places to check out in town.
The neighborhood of Pacific Beach has a lot of life within walking distance. The home is just about a mile away from Garnet street and close to all the lively restaurants and bars of the area. But back at the house it’s totally quiet and peaceful. The whole place made us feel at ease and safe with our two little ones.
You can tell that Lila put a lot of effort into creating an inviting, restful place. For the price, this gorgeous home is a bargain. I am looking forward to coming back again in the spring time with another small family to share the experience!
