Breakfast is great, just if have stay few days would like to have more choices of the breakfast.
The lift is too hot.
Other than that is great.
Is just surprised not all cards can go to every tower of the building of the pools.

The rooms are fancy and well maintained. Feel like staying in a palace.
They have only set meals, rather donkeywork. Hope to have more selections/options available in future.
Mini bar doesn’t have drinks.

The decoration were superb
Bathroom floor tiles too slippery

The theme.
I can imagine in the opening months this property must’ve been excellent but not now! There are clear signs of lack of maintenance! Basin has black marks (algae?), bar freeze cabinet door handle broken, marks on the room walls!

Breakfast was the only thing that didn't stand at par with everything else. Limited items; more disappointingly, it remained the same every day

It was very clean and the staff was super friendly.
The couch was uncomfortable, but I didn’t go there to sit on the couch, so it didn’t matter much.

The coffee wasn’t very good.

Yes the bedrooms will make for a decent instagram post, but by no measure is this a 5 star hotel.
The rooms look nice in the pictures but like that 49 year old guy who keeps sliding into your DMs (the one in a v-neck T-shirt, with oversized veneers and a suspiciously razor edged hairline that he acquired in Turkey, in the cold light of day they look old, cheaply finished and they’re starting to look very tired, the rooms that it.
Mould in the bathrooms, chipped fixtures and furniture and an ever present smell of damp. The staff are rude to the point of it actually being quite impressive. An effective strategy because after they were so militant about not checking in before 3pm (a request I made by email ahead of our visit), I simply didn’t didn’t bother to raise a complaint in person… Ironically they were then knocking on the door at 11.30am (30 minutes ahead of checkout) asking for the return of the room key because they had guests arriving later.
The facilities are more bed and breakfast than luxury - the rooftop pool is utterly miserable, dirty and unable to support any more than about 4 guests at a time. To be fair the gym looked ok (aside from the construction work).
Then there’s the little things - rationed to 2 towels, no bath robes, they messed up the room service order - I know, the horror.
Ultimately, this won’t be the worst place you’ve ever stayed, it’s fine for 1 night. But lower your expectations and if you can, maintain a partial squint for the duration of your stay (then you won’t notice those imperfections), enjoy the view and slap a filter on those shameless hotel room selfies to mask the battle scars left by all the previous guest who’ve done exactly the same on their 1 night stays.

- The staff were nice
- You get a pretty good view of the city and all the major landmarks of KL from the room
- There is a good amount of free coffee and tea with the hotel room
Don’t be deceived by the pretty photos. This was by far the worst value for money hotel room which we stayed in during our holiday in Malaysia.
We booked one of the most EXPENSIVE rooms that this hotel has to offer (the Louis I room), BUT:
- the entire room had a sewerage smell (but slightly masked by cleaning product scent);
- one of the bathrooms had no hot water altogether;
- one of the bedroom’s carpet had stains on it.
Other things about the hotel generally:
- the hotel generally has poor attention to detail. The art looks nice from far away, but up close, you can see things like how the paint is peeling, and there is dust on the walls.
- it is also weird because lobby is on the top floor unlike most hotels. When you check in, you have to go UP to the lobby. Then, when you finish check in, you have to take a lift DOWN to your room rather than UP to your room. It makes you feel like a peasant.
-Don’t eat at the restaurant. The breakfast food tasted AWFUL, and we all had diarrhoea afterwards. For breakfast, they let each guest access the buffet, and have one a la carte item each. The buffet had roti, which was soggy and tasted like tough flour - it was completely unlike anything delicious that you could get at a regular restaurant or as street food in Malaysia. The a la carte item which I got was a plate of unseasoned salad, toast with bland eggs, and a sad few baked beans. The hashbrown is okay though.
-The lifts are also slow and feel like they have poor ventilation inside.
Biggest waste of money - I wish I had just saved my money and gone to a cheaper apartment or hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Liked the room and atmosphere
I hated the fact when you arrive there is no one to greet you or take your luggage I really think they should have a door men at the front not go up to level 66 to tell them send a someone to take the bags from ground level

The decor is an extravagance and fun to explore, great outside spaces on different levels and we enjoyed our decadent room for a pause in our travels. Be sure to view the outside of the building at night time, a light show in itself.
The budget got soent on interiors and feels sadly as if they stopped there. It feels penny pinching in terms of breakfast (the saddest food we’ve had in Malaysia) and general feeling of 5 star was very much amiss. It’s the little details and attention which were not forthcoming. We went to experience lavishness and even the staff feel miffed and the general ambience suffered.

The ambiance and deco of the entire establishment was great. Food was good with satisfying portions. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Access to the parking and the hotel lobby was a little confusing especially if it was your first time there.

The room is very beautiful and comfy! Wonderful place for a short gateway.
Breakfast foods are not too much choice & not in the buffet which is very limited.

Our 2nd times staying here, we been welcomed by the friendly staffs. The rooms super spacious & clean, comfortable & relax up after whole long day of exhausting. Good views from the hotel room .... The most we satisfied are the water pressure of the bathroom very good as expected.
As experience for 2nd times of staying at Arte by Thomas Chan, we still prefer buffet style of breakfast because not much optional for us to choose as we are vegetarian. Hope will have more optional on the meal next time.

Nothing i remember
It was my first trip to kuala lumpur, they made me hate the place.
1st of all the lobby in the last floor and to get someone to take your luggage, you must check in and leave your luggage downstairs then they will send bellman
2nd the restaurant is very aggressive in time yo the client, but for themselves they delay uuand don’t care
3rd the staff is very aggressive and they are always looking busy to avoid do anything
4th room clean up is very poor
5th they made upgrade for my room because my room door wasn’t working, but after long argument

The interior design of the room
-the second room too narrow to walk between to bed. And not suitable for elderly.
- poor wifi connection
- the public faiclity share with many people, makes the cleanliness is poorly maintain. Some using wet swimming attire walk in to lift till water dripping everywhere.
-lift takes too long to arrive when peak hours

- decoration and facilities (swimming pool) are superb
- room are so clean
Once dh nak check out, baru keluar welcoming pada screen tv diruang tamu
- Staff at arte restaurant are not friendly with their guest. Their said menu for nasi lemak habis, actually that time baru pkul 8.15pagi tapi mereka cakap untuk nasi lemak sudah hbis and boleh ganti dgan other menu. Tapi nak tunggu their food preparation terlalu lama, and mereka just bagi masa 1 jam sahaja untuk breakfast. So rushing.
- The guard at parking is not good communicating in english/malay. This makes it difficult to customer to ask anything to them.

- Zeer slecht en onprofessioneel personeel
- Geen receptie op begane grond
- Zeer slechte ontbijt
- Kamers verouderd

Everything! It looks so phenomenal.
None! Perhaps it’s not near the city centre but it’s understandable.
