The views that this lodge provided were to die for. In-room amenities may seem a little old with time but everything provided was well thought-out for a comfortable stay. I really loved and appreciated the space that the suite provided. A major shoutout to the staff for going above and beyond to make my time here a lot more pleasant.
There is no Wifi here, though it is not a bad thing to me at all but may be useful to anybody else considering this property. It is also a steep road up to the lodge, but it is not something that cannot be overcome with a good car or a toughened spirit/pair of legs for those adventurous enough to walk. The on-site staff are also prepared to assist in case of anything.

The view from the room was really beautiful as it is directly facing the Mount Kinabalu. The owners are really friendly & we genuinely enjoyed our stay here even though it is just for 1 night. However be prepared with the very steep hilly one lane road going to the cabin. but no worries, there will be their staff who will guide the traffic 😊😊

The view by far!! - an amazing unobstructed view of Mount Kinabalu in all her glory. Especially early in the morning before the mist rolls in. Additonally, the cool and clean air in Kundasang is wonderful to experience.
The staff were very friendly and polite.
Reasonable pricing for 2 nights stay for an entire double story cabin with 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms.
Kitchen with amenities is provided.
Fixtures - Some were broken e.g. a bathroom door knob was broken and the door can only be closed with a latch from the inside. Door will thus be ajar when the bathroom is vacant, resulting in cold air entering the room constantly.
Water heater - Low voltage during the night results in less than adequate heating. The property hosts have put up notices to reduce the water volume as a work around, but this is less then ideal.
Sheets were clean but the mattresses were thin and the bed frames creaky.
Very steep access road to the property - a challenge to drive up and park. 4WD / powerful vehicles are recommended.

This place had a beautiful view of Mt. Kinabatangan and the owners were really nice.

The cabin we accommodate has a clear view to Mount Kinabalu, which we love it to the bits!
The road heading up to the Cabin is very steep. So make sure your car is in good condition, good brakes and able to climb steep hill. Once your are up, the view is breathtaking!

The view was absolutely great looking over the valley and mount kinabalu. Fresh air with lots of beautiful flowers. Got the BBQ set and the staff there was great to help us to start the fire.
The down side of our stay is that the generator set was noisy at night and there was sound in the room. so we are unable to sleep the whole night. Water pressure was not that great but doable. Must have great driving skills as the road there was steep.

The view was amazing. It rained heavily at around 5am so I was worried we won't be able to catch the view of the mountain, but the weather cleared later in the morning, and the view was spectacular. The room is small but cosy, there's even a gas stove in the room for cooking. They have everything we need for cooking maggi and drinking milo. The blanket is soft and warm. The water pressure for shower is low, so we filled the pail with water for bathing.
We had ptsd just for driving up the slope to the car park. Some reviews said it's 45 degrees but felt like more than that. The cabin staffs said they can help with the driving for a fee. The cabins were built on slope facing Kinabalu which gave it the great views, but since I have phobia of heights, I felt a little dizzy when we first stepped into the room but eventually got used to it. My family said the pillowcase was not changed but I didn't feel it, so no idea.

The mountain view was SUPERB!.
The drive up to Nulu Cabin was quite "challenging“ 😅

Spectacular mountain view from the room.
Weak water pressure from the shower.

The view is magnificent, waking up to with the mountain right in front of your eyes with coffee and a cup noodle tops everything else. Bed was comfy and blanket is enough to keep you warm. The water pressure is expectedly no high, but hot water is available. The pantry is a plus, we spent a night there with food we bought from the Kundasang market, beautiful view to dine in again. The value is greatly justified! The puppies are a great addition, my son loves them.
We could use a few racks for stuff, wall rack or towel rack in the room would be great. And a basin top for toiletry is really needed. The 45 deg drive constantly for 1-2 min is killing the car, and pray that there isn't any opposite traffic coming. Parking is available but not the easiest park by all means. The market is 1.5km away from the road side before the ramp, the walking from Nulu to the road would, I guess take 20 hard minutes to hike.

The mountain view cabin directly facing mount kinabalu.
It also has an open kitchen with the same view, a great place to relax with a cup of coffee at night and in the morning.
Shower Water pressure was a little weak without a pump though it comes with hot water. WiFi is being planned and were not available.

The staff were friendly and accommodative. The view from the room is breathtaking.
Driving up is indeed challenging for first timers. The slopes are steep but it's a short drive up.
I didn't quite like that the interior looks rundown and there isn't any mosquito netting for the windows. The view is good but we kept the windows closed because there were just too many bugs and insects. Lastly, there isn't air-conditioning and it gets really hot and stuffy during the day.
