Everything went as smooth as possible and we had a great time. Can't ask for anything more on a vacation!
4.8
The location was beautiful. The scenery unbelievable. Like being in a treehouse.

We had a great time as a family of 4 (2 elementary age boys) plus a dog. The rental was conveniently located and had lots of privacy. We couldn't even tell there were people in the condos next door. We stayed for 4th of July and were able to enjoy the music and fireworks from the deck without the crowds. Definitely a place we will recommend to friends and family.
4.8
The place is great except for the construction behind us during our stay.
4.8
The property was as advertised in terms of comfortable beds and amenities. We had concerns that the porch sliding door lock is broken so we could not secure the unit properly. Construction is literally going on in the backyard (the resort is putting in a roller coaster) so the sound of construction vehicles arriving each morning during the week woke us up by 7:15am. The toaster only toasts on one side of the bread, two lightbulbs are burned out in the unit and the cleaning crew should take care of spiderwebs hanging from beams in the living room. Other than that, we were grateful that the host left us the owner ID so we could enjoy the pool, mini golf and go carts as “residents.”

Titled according to the most common phrase I heard my family exclaim during our stay! The layout was awesome, super clean and cute decorations, we had a blast with the Pac-Man game. The pillows on the beds were soooo comfy! Hope we’re lucky enough to be back!

Had a great stay, will definitely be coming back! Home was clean, spacious, and had lots of entertainment for the kids. Great location to slopes/hiking trails and whatever else you need on the resort.

Nice place.

We went to take a quick trip for spring break. Went with 2 teenagers and there was plenty to do. Also some family members did some mountain biking and it was located in a great location for all those activities. House was fully stock. Would stay again.

This location is perfect for those looking to enjoying winter activities at Massanutten. One word of caution for those with little kids. this location is right next to the tubing site so if you stay over a Sat night, the music from the tubing is very loud and stays on pretty late. In the Street facing bedroom, the noise isn’t too bad but our son couldn’t fall asleep in the room closest to the runs.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. Clean, very well maintained and great location.

We stayed for a last minute family snowboarding trip. Loved the place - was stocked with everything we needed, location was great and checkin/out was sooo easy! All of the beds were so comfortable.

Stayed with our 10 month old and a dog. It was a great amount of space and separation between the rooms so little one could sleep undisturbed. Cute and cozy property with all the standard amenities you could need. Location within the resort was great, close to activities and restaurants but also private and quiet. Would stay here again!

My wife and I stayed at this property with our two teenage kids and two of their friends, and everyone loved it. The resort had plenty of activities to keep us busy during the day, and the owners put in a lot of effort making sure there was entertainment at night as well. Following our stay, our kids mentioned it was one of their favorite getaways and can't wait to go back.
Pros:
- Great view overlooking the ski slopes
- Plenty of charm (great taste in decorations, wood fireplace stocked with firewood, deck with grill, chairs, and small table with gas firepit in the middle)
- Place was very clean with fresh linens
- Plenty of cooking utensils for making meals
- Entertainment options galore (arcade machine, board/card games, DVD library, streaming video, etc.)
- Internet was very fast and easy to connect
- Sleeping capacity (one king, one double, two twins, and a bunk bed)
Cons:
- Dryer takes a long time dry (Shouldn't be an issue if you are aware and plan ahead)
Overall assessment:
Would definitely recommend to others visiting Massanutten.

Perfect location...quick trip to the slopes and adventure park. 20 min drive to Harrisonburg. Even games and movies to occupy the evening or rainny days.
4.8
Very nice place. Only a small issue with the check-in process, otherwise everything was great.
4.8
It was spacious! We had room choices and we each had our own bathrooms. They allowed us to bring our dogs who made our children feel relaxed. I love the community refrigerator. The property was clean! The owner even allowed us to check in a few hours early upon request. Only problem I had is that i left 2 presents at the house, lol. But it was a wonderful stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this house. While the house is an older property it is extremely clean and has been updated in key areas such as bedding and appliances. The layout is nice with an area to take off shoes and coats by the door and a nice open living area below. The beds were very comfortable and linens were of good quality. Bathrooms are small but clean and somewhat updated. Furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of seating for all. The fireplace was great with lots of firewood provided. Kitchen had all of the necessary items to eat our meals at home.
The house was easy to find and the neighborhood was quiet. We had warm rainy weather but if we had good snow it would have been an easy walk to slope access.
The owner was easy to reach with the few questions that came up, we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We rented Mary‘s place for our daughters college graduation from nursing school at JMU. Our daughter had a couple of friends over and we were able to use the large dining area and living room to host a brunch. It was quiet and nice and comfortable. We had a great time.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this home! 10 out 10 for comfort. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a smaller group and are wanting to samtay close to Massanutten.

We had a great stay at this home. Thank you for allowing us to rent your property!

Mary was very responsive both prior to and during our stay. Property is on the older side, but overall well kept. It was a perfect spot to relax for the weekend and were able to have our dogs with us.

Me and some family from different states went to stay here for the weekend and celebrate some events, and this place was very relaxing. Constant deer in the back yard was a treat, too. Only complaint was that all the propane tanks were pretty empty when we got there, which was unfortunate. So next time we will just bring our own back ups. Also, if you’re staying with small children, consider bringing a small step stool for the bathroom sinks as they are pretty tall and my 5 year old couldn’t reach on her own. There was plenty of firewood to use in the fireplace which was lovely though. Overall the entire property was very nice and well decorated, with plenty of clean linens and towels if we needed it and almost any kitchen gadget you could need for cooking and hosting!
Was an incredibly fun place and we would love to come back one day!

Loved the place

My wife and I wanted a Fall get away in an area I used to frequent, and this listing was perfect for some quiet “leaf-peeping” as it were as we relaxed for a few days.
4.8
We had such a fun stay! The kids loved the arcade game and the table tennis! We loved how close it was to everything! The house was comfortable and it was super fun to hear people enjoying the adventure park in the backyard. A great family vacation. Mary was great and very communicative. A great experience!

I rented this property so that my tween son could have a special celebration weekend with his 2 closest friends. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! The linens were very clean, beds comfortable, and kitchen well-equipped, but the kids were most delighted by the thoughtful toys spread about for them to find. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!
4.8
Property was a aging a little bit but we loved our stay and the entire family had a great time.
4.8
There were animal urine stains all over carpet along with the smell of something they used to try and cover it up...the fireplace smell mixed in was so strong we had scratchy throats for the first 2 days. The screens were torn, missing and bent making us unable to.open windows or doors. Other than that the place was ok. Our sixth visit to Massanutten....not our favorite.
4.8
The home was on the older side but well kept. There was plenty of room for our small family of 5. I'm an early riser and all of the doors were squeaky which made it hard to be quiet while the others were still sleeping. The home was in a great location, close to lots of activities. My family would defiantly stay here again.
4.8
Thanks Mary for being an awesome host. We had a great time and hope to possibly be back this winter!
4.8
This was our first time visiting the resort and the Shenandoah Valley. The resort offers a ton of activities that kept our family busy and happy the entire 5 days we were there. The area is absolutely gorgeous. The accommodations were great for our boys. They loved the Pacman arcade. The smart TVs were a little hard to operate with the remote. Very finicky. Other than that it was great and we are excited to plan another trip.
4.8
This was a great place and exactly what we were looking for! Central to so many activities.
4.8
The porch was great. We loved looking out at deer. Lots of activities in the resort for the whole family to enjoy. Beautiful area.
4.8
My teenagers and I had a wonderful stay, I would totally recommend!
4.8
The master bed is actually very comfortable, which is remarkable for most rentals. The place was clean and well stocked. Communication with the host was easy. Location is good for everything Massanutten -related. Watch out for deer while driving!
4.8
We all loved the stay at this home in Massanutten (not the resort). It may be helpful to bring a fan in the warmer months. Loved the games including the PacMan arcade machine! Kitchen had all the essentials.
4.8
Mary was a gracious host and thought of all the little things to make our stay the best! From a board game cabinet, a Play Station, plenty of plates and silverware. The unit was VERY clean and organized and in a great resort community. Highly recommend the stay if you are in the area.
4.8
Great location - close to all the action! House has everything that you need and host is very responsive throughout!
4.8
The condo was nicely decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The Master Bedroom has a very, very firm bed. It did not bother me too much, but my husband could not sleep well on it. The last night he decided to sleep on couch, lol. Other than that, we have no complaints. For an older Condo, it has been maintained very well. The kids had a great time at the waterpark and going down the big tubing slide. Thank you for the wonderful trip!
