About this house rental
About a 5-minute walk from the Plaza and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, this lovely home puts you in the heart of the city, then pampers you with 3 suites, 2 patios, and Wi-Fi/HDTV.
El Corazon de Santa Fe earns its name of 'the heart of the city'; with an enviable location. Parking is no issue. There's an underground lot here with an elevator. Leave the car and head out on foot to explore the beautiful downtown sights of Santa Fe, then return to the luxurious comfort of this beautifully appointed home.
Each bedroom is a self-contained suite with full bath at El Corazon de Santa Fe — perfect for couples or friends traveling together as well as for a family. One primary bedroom is downstairs, featuring a king-sized bed, wall-mounted flat screen, and plush reading chair with lamp. The private bath offers a long soaking tub, walk-in shower, and dual vanities. Just steps from the common area (and with no stairs to negotiate!), this suite is marvelously relaxing and so convenient.
The other two bedrooms are upstairs, affording extra privacy and quiet for children and other early-to-bedders! One contains a king-sized bed, comfy reading chair, HDTV, and beautiful banks of windows on two walls. Its private bath has a shower/tub combination and granite countertop.
The third bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be converted into a king. It has its own flat-screen as well, a private bath with walk-in shower, and a door leading out to the private balcony with seating for 4 at an all-weather table. Glimpse Santa Fe's famous sunsets and enjoy those fresh northern New Mexico breezes from this perch right in the center of town!
And El Corazon de Santa Fe is far more than simply a place to sleep. This is a fully furnished and decorated home, with a large living room, separate study, fully stocked kitchen, and separate dining room for 6. You will love the big common area, with its ultra-relaxing sofas and chairs, giant HDTV with DVD and CD players, and double set of doors leading out to the patio. From the decorated viga ceiling to the smooth tile floors, this is an attractive and very welcoming room, inviting you to stay in for the night and play games with the family!
Nice little architectural touches fill El Corazon de Santa Fe, such as the wood pillars and cornice separating the living room from the dining area. This keeps the rooms separate, but lets the whole group stay together even when some are watching their favorite movie in the living room while others play Monopoly at the table!
Of course, you can also use the dining room table for dining. You may be filling the fridge with leftovers from Santa Fe's stunning restaurants, or you might choose to whip up a homemade feast with produce from the Farmer's Market one night. But even if you are just grabbing a toasted bagel and hot coffee before heading out for your day's adventures each morning, you will appreciate the kitchen at El Corazon. Stainless-steel appliances -- including 2 ovens, a gas range, and an oversized refrigerator -- pair with time-savers such as the microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and blender to speed you on your way. And for the chef in your group, the cupboards and cabinets are fully stocked with cooking and serving equipment for any occasion!
And whether you are working or simply uploading the day's stunning photos each evening, the study at El Corazon will delight you. A couch and reading chair invite you to finish a novel or work on a fun project -- but if duty calls, step up to the long desk, connect to high-speed Internet, and get the job done in no time! This is also a nice quiet area for members of your group who would rather quilt, read, talk on the phone, or enjoy a private conversation than join the festivities in the living room!
Before you go to bed each night, be sure to enjoy a final drink on the big downstairs patio. It's private and spacious, with seating for 6 and a big fireplace to warm up in winter. Plan your next day's excursions and reminisce about the good times you've already had in Santa Fe!
El Corazon de Santa Fe is a vacation home to fall in love with. Come experience the unbeatable location and pleasant ambiance of this fine family home!

Easy check in process. Centrally located to downtown and very walkable. Garage parking was nice. Clean and kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Although the condo was well located, comfortable and fairly well appointed, the interior was dark and the decor is in need of some updates.
On check-in one tub was partially filled with dank, foul-smelling water. French doors next to the main entrance do not lock.

The accommodations were just right for our group, with each bedroom having an en suite bathroom. It was also great to have a powder room for convenience when gathered together in the main room. Kitchen was well appointed. Really happy with the security features. My only slight criticism was the lack of a closet in one of the bedrooms.

This little house is perfectly located for a stay in Santa Fe. The Square is just a few minutes walk and the home is wonderfully situated for everything you might want to do while you are visiting Santa Fe. The house is clean, and well-stocked. It was a pleasure to stay here, and we would do it again on our next visit!

Our family, ranging in age from 24 to 85, had a wonderful stay. There was space to have everyone together and to relax apart if wanted. The house is walking distance to the plaza (even in the cold)!

Beautiful condo to sleep 6 and within walking distance to the downtown plaza. Gated underground parking and easy to get around

Property was great and all; however, had issues with property Manager after a “key” issue came up regarding getting in to front door. Went by office and the gal was defensive the entire time. Two days later we got a call saying they had received an email and a fire inspection group had been in our rental without letting anyone of us know and if we had not left a patio door unlocked we would have been locked out. Then we got BED BUG BITES HORRIBLY after our return home and we are still trying to resolve this issue with her. She has always been on the defensive. Don’t want to mention names but just saying………..think twice before renting!

We thoroughly enjoyed this unit during a recent friends' trip. Great location with just a quick walk to Plaza, shops, and restaurants. Underground parking is KEY. Super quiet, 2 patios for morning coffee or afternoon snacks and drinks. Fireplaces, lots of room and private spaces, well stocked with toiletries, towels, kitchen items. Kokopelli management is easy to work with.

Easy breezy location - short walk to the town square (Plaza) and .8 mile walk to the big grocery stores. We were a group of 50 something girlfriends from high school and all 6 of us agreed that it was a wonderful place.

This property was perfect for three couples. We each had our own privacy. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants and things to do. I would caution renters to read the checkin directions carefully about how to find the condo. The numbers of the units are not in order and it can be confusing. However worth it once you get there also make sure you put in # when needed for gate codes.

Fabulous location

The property is beautifully furnished and the location is perfect. The only downside is that the third bedroom does not have a closet. Therefore, no place to hang clothes…very, very inconvenient especially if you are travelling with friends. The formal description does not indicate this situation.

This property was perfect! Loved the location! Easy Walking distance to all of the museums and shops and historic churches around the plaza. Well appointed kitchen. Lots of space for guests to hang out together or apart with the upstairs living area and bedrooms.

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to the plaza and only 30 mins to ski Santa Fe which is an excellent ski resort especially for beginners.

walkable. beautifully decorated.
The house was easily walkable to the Plaza, roomy and beautifully decorated. There was a slight problem with hot and cold zones, but management quickly brought a space heater and that solved the problem. The WI FI signal was too weak to use, only 10mgbits.

Great location, good property
Overall we had a pleasant stay at El Corazon. The location is perfect, walking distance to the plaza. The property itself is nice but needs a little maintenance. The walls have many scuffs and damaged corners, be sure to document on arrival. Also, please be aware that there is a MAX LIMIT of 2 vehicles for parking even though it is a 3 master bedroom property advertised as perfect for friends’ getaways. They don’t alert you to parking rules until after you’ve booked. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of bath towels and starter supplies of toiletries. We would book again if we only needed 2 parking spaces.

Spacious and great location
Stayed at property for long weekend with family. Great to have three beds and private baths. Kitchen was well equipped. Loved the two zone AC.

Great place, silly check in.
Checking in and checking out require that you visit the office first and find a safe on an unlit (motion sensitive once you get there!) porch. The instructions are good, and it was easy to procure keys, but the added logistical steps made my friends joke that we were in a late night escape room.
You will also receive a barrage of emails and text messages from an automated system on your last evening and morning.
Great place, though. Close to downtown.

Nice Apartment, Epic failure in Management
Pro's: Nice apartment in a great part of town
Con's: Owner/manager negligence resulted in health hazard
My father, wheel-chair bound with Parkinson's in his 70's, my mother, and I were awakened by CO2 alerts. My father started having a panic attack, and we had to push him outside in his underwear as we called the Fire department to come check our safety.
It turns out the owners did not have full batteries in their CO2 and Smoke alarms, and when the power went out, the alarms went off.. After the fire department came and told us we were safe, we pulled out the batteries from all the devices. Then at 1:30am when the power came back on, the alarms did too, and re-woke us up.
Arguably as bad, is the management company tried to get us to sign a non-disclosure for a paltry $200.
Minor inconveniences: no courtesy coffee packets or laundry detergent.

Quiet Property and Great Location
There were a lot of positives about this property. AC worked great. The location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants without having to cross busy streets. It's a little confusing to find the unit due to the fact that the complex is maze-like, but it's easy to get around once you find the unit. The wifi/TV did not work during our stay, but this was not the end of the world since the cell reception was good inside the unit (Verizon). The property management company let us know when we left that they would contact their cable provider to get the wifi/tv fixed. The management company also answered anytime we called, even after hours, so they are very responsive. Overall we would definitely stay here again due to the location, condo size, and easy parking.
