Summer visit to the mountain for my wife's fathers celebration of life with family. All of use are life long visitors to the Owens Valley and beyond with many many days on the mountain. We were looking for a place that felt like Dad and could not be happier with Chris and his family's place. If you are looking for a condo that is perfect for a family stay, pick this one ! It is clean, perfect lay out. walk to lift (in winter), all the essentials you need, hot tub just steps away and a cool Moose in the living room. Highly recommend !

Really nice and intelligently laid out.
Our trip last year was a disaster, dirty place and a jerk property manager.
Chris was with us all the way. I owed a place right around the corner at one time, so I know what I like.
Great family spot. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay during our first visit to Mammoth. The space was cozy and comfortable and is just enough room for the 8 of us. This location is just a few minutes walk to the lift...which doesn't get better than that!. Seamless communication with Chris and Amy. Would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you!

This Vrbo is wonderful! A phenomenal location featuring a 3 minute walk to Canyon lodge & a 30 second walk to the community hot tub. Chris, the host, was very communicative and helpful. Additionally the check-in/check out process couldn’t have been easier — Would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommended!

House is fully stocked and better than the pictures show. Chris had everything in the house ready for us upon arrival. We were short some sheets for the trundle and he responded immediately and gave us access to additional linens. We lucked out and got a decent amount of snow during our stay. There were sleds for the kids to enjoy outside and shovels/scrapers available to dig our cars out upon departure. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

Well stocked, close walk to Canyon Lodge, great communication with host. Enough space for 2 families, 4 adults & 4 teen/preteens. Mud room great for storage of skis and snowboards. Parking right in front of the unit. Individual thermostats for down stairs rooms with their own bathrooms. Host was great at getting us the information in advance, allowed for early check-in, and helped us find sheets for couch. Excellent place, would stay here again!

This was the perfect sized condo for us! Plenty of bathrooms which is always a plus. Parking was very convenient. The kitchen is small but we did not need to make meals there so it was not an issue for us! Chris was a very accommodating host. We were most appreciative!

This host has a five star rating for a reason. They are super flexible and cool about everything. Plus, they offer a stain that is very comfortable, and go out of their way to make sure that it is comfortable. While we were there, we had no trouble enjoying ourselves and having a good time. All of the things that you would expect at, a great getaway, are here. Multiple TVs throughout the unit, all with streaming services, throughout the unit, recently renovated and updated interior, lots and lots of space for sleeping and living. The chicken process was a breeze. The checkout process was a breeze. Lots of little thoughtful touches, everywhere. I’m not sure how much other reviewer’s discuss this, but I’m not going to list them here, so that you’ll be delighted by the surprises.

This condo was incredibly clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed (great kitchen, games, comfy beds, great showers, gas fireplace for cool nights) for a summer vacation in the Sierra Nevada mountains! Though the closure of the Tioga Pass kept us from enjoying Yosemite as we had planned, Mammoth Lakes and surrounding areas provided incredible hikes and views, and your condo was THE PERFECT place to come home to and relax after a day exploring the beauty around us.

Had a great stay at this condo, just steps from the Canyon Lodge. Condo was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. We were supposed to arrive the day of a big storm and the owner contacted us and generously offered to allow us to travel up and stay a day early at no charge. Will definitely be back.

What a perfect location, walking distance from the lifts at Canyon with great outdoor space for the kids to sled nearby. The house had all the amenities you need to keep you entertained while off the slopes including board games and plenty of table space. Chris checked in regularly and was a gracious host. Would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for an amazing property in Mammoth with an equally excellent host--this is THE place to stay! Condo is clean, multi-level, well appointed (with rustic cabin decor), very spacious, soooo cozy, and super close to all the things to do and see--like Canyon Lodge which is less than a 5-minute walk, and The Village (outdoor mall/restaurants) which is accessible via gondola (from Canyon Lodge). With a toasty fireplace, mudroom (to store and dry all your winter (or even summer) gear), multiple seating (couches/rocking chairs/dining tables) and sleeping options (sleeps 8), and many boardgames to choose from--you will not be disappointed! Ample reserved parking and a roomy hot tub are merely steps away from the front door as well. This place is truly a gem!

This hole was beautifully decorated and in an amazing location close to the heart of mammoth. I love that it had a mud room so we could put our fishing poles shoes and coolers! We are definitely going to try and rent at the same location. This was such a great experience!

We had a great stay at Chris and Amy's condo. We had two families of four and had plenty of space. The kids loved the bunkhouse room. Chris was extremely helpful and conscientious. He responded immediately with any questions we had. The condo location is great. Not far from the village and next to canyon lodge lift where you can access the trolley as well as the lift for skiing and mountain biking. We had a wonderful trip and would stay again.

Quiet, comfortable and well stocked
This townhouse came with almost everything we needed from soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, paper foods, utensils (pots and pans were good quality - not the cheap ones I’m used to seeing in other places) and plenty of comfy blankets. The furniture was in very good condition and well kept. It was further from town which I liked because of the reduced traffic in the area. It was a very quiet and clean. However the HOA needs to repair the gas grills; they are all in disrepair. Chris, the owner of this property was very responsive to our text messages. We felt well cared for. Highly recommend this place. My grandkids loved the bunk beds and we enjoyed the king bed

Spring Skiing at its Best
Walking distance to the lift, coupled with a wonderfully renovated and comfortable townhome made for a magical experience which has now made this an annual event. Convenience and comfort all wrapped into one. The property manager was proactive and engaged throughout checking in to make sure all was well. Really set a hug light bar for us moving forward. Thanks!

Great stay by Canyon Lodge
We were a family of 4 traveling with 2 little kids, along with another family of 4, so convenience was everything. The location of the condo to Canyon Lodge was something we couldn’t look past and was one of the top criteria when looking for a place to stay. In addition to the fantastic location, the interior was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen and bathrooms were all tastefully finished and decorated and most importantly very clean. Plenty of space for all of us and can’t wait to go back again! Thanks to the Sharp family for a memorable stay!

Canyon Lodge Gem!!!
This property was simply amazing! From the moment I found the listing on VRBO, I knew that this was the place we wanted to spend my wife and son’s birthday weekend up in Mammoth!
Chris was attentive and responsive from the very first message I sent him to our return back home from our trip.
The place itself was exactly as advertised. From the decorations and fine details to the huge moose head mount, the property did not disappoint. Even the nightstands had USB ports for easy plug in for Apple Watch and phone charging. There were even labels made and attached to light switches, wall heaters, and fireplace for easy guidance.
Speaking of the fireplace - that thing worked like a charm! One of my main concerns when finding a place in the mountains is adequate heating. The two downstairs rooms had wall thermostats to control the wall heaters and the fireplace kept the main living area and upstairs “bunk room” toasty. Kids loved it up there. The mud room was perfect for stashing the ski gear and jackets. Also equipped with shovels and ice scraper which came in handy.
The absolute best part was the proximity to Canyon Lodge. 5 Minute Walk! We just rented and stored our gear from Canyon Lodge - all we needed to carry were our boots. No need to worry about waking up at the crack of dawn to find a parking spot. Priceless!
Definitely looking forward to our next trip back up to Mammoth. This place could easily accommodate two small families (8 total guests) but was more than enough for my family for four. Kids will love the “freedom” and “isolation” of the bunk/loft area. The three full bathrooms were all upgraded with new fixtures and all toiletries included. Kitchen was fully stocked too. I honestly can’t think of anything we needed during our stay that wasn’t already there.
Truly appreciate Chris hosting us and I will recommend his hospitality to my friends and family.

Well-located, spacious condo
We really enjoyed our stay! The accommodation was perfect for 3 couples, especially with 3 spacious bathrooms. The location is excellent, within a very short walking distance to canyon lodge and the lifts. We took the gondola at canyon into town for dinner. The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The kitchen was well stocked, we cooked dinner for everyone two of the nights. The mud room is very convenient and there is enough sitting room around the tv for at least six. Easy parking and checkin/check out process. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place to stay for a family ski trip, beautifully furnished and sparkling clean! Parking was close and the ski lodge was a quick and easy walk. Chris and Amy were great hosts and quickly responded to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect setup for two families
Its close enough Canyon lodge even the little kids can walk to and from with their skis. Also super close to the shared hot tub. Loft beds are more than enough to everyone. Many arrangements were tried by the kids while grown-ups were in the two bedrooms downstairs. Large mudroom too for gear. All around great experience. Chris is very responsive and friendly as well.

Such an amazing Mammoth Condo!!!!
We have stayed in multiple places in Mammoth for the last 15 years, but this was one of our favorites! It was so nicely redone and it was so convenient to Canyon Lodge for all to walk to for skiing!
