Location was perfect. Walkable to cruise port. Very quaint old hotel but clean and quiet. The restaurant next door (El Jabatta?) was fabulous!
It’s an old building so it has its problems but I like old places so I think it just added charm. Our TV didn’t work but we really didn’t need it. Found out the next morning that you could encode your own info to use Netflix, Hulu etc but no big deal that we didn’t.

Upgraded room was initially appreciated … bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was fine.
no consistent WiFi, no internet, no TV.
Shower water was nonexistent.

La ubicación
Un hotel muy viejo, muy anticuado.
Le falta una gran reforma.
No se corresponde el precio con las instalaciones del hotel.
Las habitaciones no tienen mando para regular el aire acondicionado.

Spacious, well appointed, clean, friendly staff. Nice kitchen and comfy beds. A historic decor which was perfect for its location. Even great coffee downstairs. Cute but small rooftop pool and bbq.
Nothing.

it was very unique and comfortable. it also has great staff members working there. very friendly.

The location was great. It was in the heart of Old San Juan. it had a lovely rooftop & view. Our suite was large, clean & the beds were very comfortable.
it was a good size 2 bedroom suite with a living room & kitchen. But only one AC in the living room was working. The back bedroom did not get the benefit of air conditioning. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk they seemed unconcerned. We asked for a fan but they said they didn’t have any. We were told we would get some money back (which never happened) instead we got a late check out & two cappuccinos. It was an expensive one night stay especially without the benefit of comfortable AC.

The charm and rooftop terrace with infinity pool. Perfect on the unseasonable hot days when we were there.
Nothing really

No breakfast great location

The location was perfect! The hotel has an old world charm (some tlc needed though). Very no frills but comfortable.
It would be great to have a coffee maker in the room.

Location was more than ideal, close to everything. Parking was difficult, but that was to be expected, nothing that anybody could've done. Staff was excellent.
Understanding that the place is old and that is part of the charm, the facilities could use some upgrades. The terraza with the rooftoop pool has a fantastic view, but the pool itself is in dire need of maintenance. The units are large, good AC, but the kitchen could use some light renovation, to leave it old but better functioning.

This place is a true gem. Classic and comfy!

Everything was great. We stayed in San Sebastián weekend.
They should include at least water as a welcome drink, I stayed in another boutique hotel her and they offered a welcome drink and the staff was friendlier.

Location was great. We walked everywhere.
No breakfast and bar had iffy hours. Usually they weren't
Open. Front desk people were always available to provide ice. If no breakfast how about coffee in the room.
3.9
the location is amazing and the front desk help was the best . especially Debra . can’t wait to get back asap . also make sure to check out the roof top pool . Amazing!
hardly anything bad to say , I wish the elevator was a little quicker . still thankful that they have one

The location was great and the small pool on the terrace was a nice feature.
Rooms were a bit dingy. The doors did not shut all the way so noise and light permeated the room all night. The power went out and their generator didn’t work so it got very hot most of the first night. Also the night attendant was very strange and not very helpful or polite.

Excellent location!
Our room was subterranean, dank and dark.

Very “old town” experience. Well kept and fun to explore. Family enjoyed hanging out at the roof-top infinity pool and watching the cruise ships at the port.
