Absolutes no go

Expected more for the price.
Location relative to Myvatan is what you are paying for.
The room was very small and had minimal amenities. In addition to that since we rented a room the directions said that we could not use the shared facilites. So we ended up with a small dorm fridge but no other kitchen access other then 2 small water glasses. Bummer. The weather was also fairly warm which was nice except that the midges were terrible and there are no screens on the windows. Please install screens on the windows so people can air out the rooms! This area is named after the midges so this was shocking to see no window screens.

ideal for an overnight stay during a trip
Small room in a cottage, clean and pleasantly warm, no breakfast, helpful staff, quiet place, near Lake Myvatn and Myvatn Nature Bath (like Blue Lagoon but not to much people) and not far from Dettifos,
