About this cabin rental
Aspen Leaf Lodges is back with 4 newly renovated cabins. We have several acres of privately held land conveniently located between Grand Lake and Lake Granby, making it a perfect location to head south to Winter Park, north to Rocky Mountain National Park, or hang out in the surrounding area and lakes. We are a family & dog friendly establishment with no pet fees.
Part of the benefits of being in the mountains is the wildlife in the area including elk, deer, moose, fox, chipmunks, & black bears. We do have these on our property, if you do see them please keep a distance from the animals, NEVER EVER feed the animals, and DO NOT leave food outside or in the surrounding area.
All smoking must be done in the parking area. Please make sure to fully extinguish any open flame.
We do ask that all guests pick up after their pets and treat our place like yours. As long as we do not have any issues with pets destroying our property we will not charge a fee for your 4 legged family members.
We have an onsite manager that is available for emergencies. If you need anything during your stay please reach out to us via the phone number provided in your check in instructions.
Grand Lake is a beautiful mountain town that offers a wide range of outdoor recreational activities and a charming, small-town atmosphere. The town is situated on the shores of Grand Lake, the largest natural body of water in Colorado. The lake is popular for boating, fishing, and other water sports. It is also known for its many hiking trails, which offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. In the winter, Grand Lake is a popular destination for skiing, snowshoeing, and other winter sports. The town is located near several ski resorts, including Granby Ranch and Winter Park Resort.
Your personal door code will be shared prior to your check in date.
If you are planning to bring a boat, RV or trailer please let us know in advance. We do have extra parking available for boats, RV's and trailers if needed. We need to make sure we have room if multiple people to park things if needed.
The kitchens are stocked with dishes, utensils and a coffee station.
The living rooms have a gas fireplace ( except cabin 4) , TV and a couch that can be used to sleep an additional guest.
You will have your own gas grill on each patio and your own washer/dryer in each cabin.
There is high speed wifi on the property and a community fire pit and picnic area.
There are dog bowls for your pet and a playpen for your little one.
Cabins 2, 3 & 4 are two bedroom, one bath with a queen bed in one bedroom and two twins in the second bedroom and a shared parking area.
You can drive to the cabins year round via I-70 and during the summer via Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park.

We liked our stay in the cabins for our whole family for the 3 lakes tournament. It’s always hard when we need to book for so many people of so many different ages and these cabins accommodated us and our two trailers nicely

We had no issues with the property itself. Our only complaint were with the communication with the property manager, especially when trying to check in. I was told we would be sent the cabin codes and house rules beforehand but I never received either. I called the contact number and left a voicemail stating that we didn't have any codes. I also sent messages through Vrbo. Luckily, there was a gentleman who answered for the other properties and was able to get us into the cabins. He had called our property manager as well and couldn't reach her. We had 2 different automated email codes sent to us a day later but I never received a response from the property manager throughout our entire stay nor did we receive the Wifi password. Besides the poor communication, our cabins themselves, were adequate. Not the cleanest but cozy. On the positive side, they do have a dog poop bag station, but no trash for them afterwards.
Luckily, we didn't have any major issues that we needed to continue attempting to contact the property manager.

We stayed here for three nights, beautiful little cabins. All of the amenities of home, but still with the woodsy cabin feel. Beds were comfy, one Queen and one bedroom and two twins in the other. We had a group of 11 adults and five little kids and we were all very comfy. We even had a pet fox come by every morning to say hello. It is obvious that grand lake is a summertown, but there was still plenty to do in the winter. The town is only a few minutes away and has a lot of shopping and sites to see. We will definitely be back!

We got more than expected, very clean cabins. Definitely recommend to anyone with a large family.

Great time to get together with our gown children and their families. With three lakes just minutes away, fun on the water is inevitable. This was a great “base camp” for the weekend!
