What a wonderfully stocked lakeside camp. This camp was just what our family needed in a getaway to unplug and enjoy lake life. The screened in porch was a family favorite! Everything was clean and in wonderful order on our arrival.
A dock waiting for our boat rental and a little sandy beach to enjoy.
Pets welcome and greatly appreciated a property that welcomes our family dogs! Pretty sure they enjoyed it most of all.

We had an amazing stay here! House is exactly as pictured and very clean. Owner was easy to get in touch with if needed. My favorite spot was the huge screened in porch with nice outdoor furniture to read or eat a family dinner. It’s the prefect spot on the lake being in a no wake zone and my kids and dog had a blast swimming from the dock to the beach. We ended most our days around the fire pit that looks directly out to the lake. It was the perfect lakeside getaway and I highly recommend it!

This is our 2nd year staying at this property and once again we enjoyed every minute of it. The house was left in perfect condition when we arrived, the location on the lake is fantastic, and the little beach was great for my two year old granddaughter to be able to splash around in. We were also able to get our pontoon boat in and out with ease. Overall, wonderful vacation!!

The cottage was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed to cook some great meals in the kitchen and on the grill. This no wake zone surrounded by conservation land made for great kayaking, paddle boarding, and lazing on rafts/swimming while watching loons, ducks and geese. Thanks to the great screened porch, we were able to enjoy the beautiful lake even on the rainy days. The steps were a bit steeper than we anticipated, but our lab could do them fine; young children or people with any physical limitation would likely struggle. It was notable the attention paid to ensuring there were plugs, places to charge phones, lighting, and plenty of drawer space. We would love to come back again!

Wonderful location and accommodations were great!

Overall nice place. Was not aware of the mosquito issues, every time we were outside we got eat up.
As seen in the neighborhood mosquito squad is used, wish it was used at this location.
It would be nice to see a dishwasher and a washer and dryer especially for a weeks stay.
Minor things -toilet needs rebuilt of replaced
Also parking under the trees in the parking area dropped a lot of sap on my vehicle and trailer.

This house does not disappoint! Beautiful views, cute interior, enjoyed sitting outside by the fire watching the boats pass by. Lots to do for all ages! Beautiful screened in porch with gorgeous string lighting at night. Great for card games or hanging out. Easy check in process and owner reached out as soon as we got there to make sure we didn't need anything. Thank you so much!!!

We found our stay at Meredith to be just what we needed. A clean, comfortable, well thought out cottage with friendly neighbors and peaceful surroundings. Fishing was good and the lake soothing. The air and lake scents brought back such wonderful memories, and the stars at night! Our host was more than you could ask, seemed as though we were dealing with an old friend. The great surrounding amenities made our stay a great overall experience.

Very quiet & relaxing. Lake is very clean. Spotty cell service. Kitchen is well stocked with the necessary utensils. End of stairs to the lake could be made smoother. Enjoyed our stay.

This house is right on the water at Lake Winnesquam at a lovely Loon no-wake zone. View is pretty and private. Has it's own beach, dock and raft - super convenient. Vintage WW2 in design, the new owners are fixing it up nicely. It has that lovely "camp in the forest" smell/feel with decent space between neighbors. Big screen porch. Fantastic lake for boating (superb marina), and great town for amenities. Hopefully a future upgrade will include washer/dryer. Owners are helpfully communicative, and we had a lovely July week with our family of four plus two dogs which means the world to us. Happy tails to you!

Wonderful Cabin and Location
We loved our week vacation at The Camp. Perfect amount of privacy and right on a quiet part of Lake Winnisquam near the loon preserve with a serviceable dock for our rental pontoon. Very rustic, but has everything you need for a stay at the lake and only 10 minutes from downtown Meredith. The property owner, Lyman, was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. We will be back for a future stay!

Cozy lakeside home
My family, dog, and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this quant lakeside home. We enjoy a lakeside vacation in the northeast most years and mostly rent through vrbo. I have never before stayed in a home that was so well stocked. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals, ample pots, pans, bowls, dishes, etc. The homeowner thought of all the little extras that I might have forgotten, from basic spices, tupperware containers and baggies. We paid the extra money to have linens, which were provided and, in my opinion, it’s a great option. Less to pack and haul and less to wash on return home.
Our dog enjoyed all the wildlife. She would spend her days on the fabulous screened in porch just watching the many chipmunks, squirrels and even deer. We also saw a snake, muskrat, turtles, loon and a blue heron that seems to own the lake! It flies by several times a day! We had great kayaking but not so great fishing, but we did catch 1-2 lb bass on every outing. . It was possibly the bait we used and time of day ( we did not go out too early).
Overall, a great week!
