Great location across the street from the water. Plenty of room for our teen boys to lounge around the house. Great music memorabilia throughout the property. Borrowed some bikes to get to a beach bar down the street.

The location and view was great, the beds were comfortable aside from the yucky things I found on the sheets. There were more stairs that anticipated that were a bit treacherous for my small kids. In the house the floor levels changed all over the house causing me to trip and nearly fall so accessibility of the house is not very good at all. There were tons of broken toys in the beach bin which is understandable but would have been nice if they had just been thrown away. We were only provided with a partial roll of toilet paper with no spares in the house and told it was our responsibility to replace it which I found to be ridiculous for a place we were paying to stay at. Luckily the property manager had some sent to the house. This is not a place I would stay again primarily due to the inaccesibility of the house.

A half week wasn’t enough. A lovely space to relax and enjoy the view and sands!

Amazing media collection, nice view and yard, a stone’s throw from Alki. What more could you want? Oh fun, music memorabilia in every room?! Check! A must stay for any music fan.

This might be the best VRBO house we have stayed in and we travel quite a bit. It is cozy, eclectic, and charming. We are so glad we had the opportunity to stay here. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. There were 6 of us- 2 parents, 4 "kids" (21, 18, 16, and 13).

This was our first time renting a house in Seattle. All the music culture was so cool to see. You can play vinyl records and see a bunch of different music posters. The fire was all set up for us all we had to do was light it! I highly recommend this house for families.

Our second time staying here! We love the iconic vintage vibes and access that all that West Seattle has to offer.

This historic property was like sleeping in a Seattle rock museum. Many amenities were also provided. Everything was clean and the view was amazing. I would recommend this property to friends or people coming to visit the beautiful city of seattle.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this place. The beds were super comfortable. The amenities were great. We loved listening and admiring the records and posters. We would love to stay again.

We will be back to our new home-away-from-home many, many times! Clean, comfortable, and with endless entertainment possibilities!

Was a cute house clean and perfect for the kids

Great space, especially for a music lover and the location is dreamy. We loved our stay there and will come again. Oh and the Record shop and cafe need to be checked out too!

I really don’t have words to describe how cool this house is. It is truly evident how much love has gone into the home. The walls are covered floor to ceiling with fascinating music memorabilia. Everywhere you looked there was something new to see. We wished we’d had more time to check out each nook and cranny and listen to more of the fantastic vinyl collection. The location is wonderful with a gorgeous view.! The beds were super comfy. The amenities were great. Thank you, Matt and Connon for getting us straightened out with being able to play music. Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful time.!

My family and I loved the home and the area.
Please remember that this is a 100+ year home and as such there are some creaks. The home overall has all the amenities needed. The WiFi was great. There was one day that it did go out due to maintenance but the owner came over and explained. I would definitely recommend!

I come over to West Seattle monthly for diving. I stay in this unit for several reasons - first and foremost, it is cool. If you recall the Grunge explosion, this will be like sleeping in nostaglia. Excellent and eclectic records collection. It is close the restaurants (walking distance) and on the beach. Recommend it for anyone.

The approach to the property was sketchy with the address on a stump by the road which took a while to find. The front porch furniture had seen better days. There was no house number on the house. There was a lock box so we tried it. It took several tries to work. Inside was welcoming, clean and housed the owners collection of albums, posters, books, videos and two turntables to play the music. All of the modern amenities were there: a TV in each bedroom, kitchen supplies and towels, washer and dryer. It was a fun place to stay that broke the tradition of white sterile vrbos. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very comfortable I can see why the host Luis rated highly. Highly recommend! Thank you!

I loved the location and its decoration.

This was a truly beautiful beachside cottage in a fantastic location. Very cosy, but spacious too. Comfortable beds, TVs in every room, big dining table, and everything you need in the kitchen. The laundry was a godsend. And it is full of the very coolest music memorabilia!! Seriously, amazing. Was in awe of it all. Oh, plus the views from the cottage are spectacular, especially when the mountains are out. Would have loved to spend more time here, a week wasn't long enough.

Had a lovely time at this property. Great location and all the amenities we needed.

Wonderful house with amazing music history.

How generous and wonderful to have such a collection of music and posters surrounding us at this oldest standing Beach House on Alki. There was such a feeling of love for the Pacific Northwest history of the music scene. We are Seattlelites and this was an absolute treasure of the location to land on. Will be back again!

Absolutely loved the location of this house. Also loved the decor...we are big music fans. Owner was readily available for questions and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

We had so much fun at the house. Beautiful location and easy to get to. Unfortunately the owner is a rental company which didn't allow for any flexibility or easy contact, but it was a great property. So cozy and unique

Great location across from the water, lots of space in an eclectic 1907 house. Quiet with very comfortable beds. Loved browsing al the music memorabilia.

Let me start by saying the home is charming and lovely. The negative response is entirely because of the management company. The lack of response left a very sad customer experience that otherwise would have been perfect.
1. Several items missing upon check in; propane, briquettes, bath soap, toilet paper, laundry soap.
2. The lack of propane was an issue as I arrived with seafood and had scheduled a dinner with friends who lived in the area.
3. Called customer service three times on the day of arrival for propane. No response. Asked for a supervisor to call that evening with no response.
4. Called an additional three times on day two asking for a supervisor with no response
5. Posted a bad review on VACASA web site and sent an email to [email protected] finally got a response from Instagram. Then received 11 phone calls all at once with everyone apologizing, but no one offering to deal with the propane tank. Every person said they would get back to me. At 4 o’clock on Wednesday I recvd a text that someone would eventually show up with a propane tank, but I’d already picked one up by that time.
I was told repeatedly I would receive a $125 credit for propane but have never heard anything and it hasn’t been applied.

This was truly a unique property with lots of cool stuff! We loved that it was an old house. We did have a couple of challenges with the front door lock and no bedding for the fold out couch. (Lock was broken and lock box in the railing had no key in it which put a bit of a wrench in our plans but all in all a cool place)!

We loved the history, ambiance, and location of the house. It is truly an awesome experience to stay in THE Easy Street Beach House. If you are a music lover, you will enjoy the exhibit-like presentation and the hundreds of vinyl records available at your whim. The house is within blocks of the Alki strip and within a few miles of the Junction, Schmitt's Preserve, and Lincoln Park. It is a great place to stay.
However, if you expect at least a minimum level of customer service, think twice about reserving a Vacasa house. When we arrived, there was less than half a roll of toilet paper, less than a quarter roll of paper towels, no bedding or pillows for the hide-a-bed, no hand soap, no laundry detergent (even though they ask you to start a load of laundry upon checkout), and a note from the local utilities that informed us that we would not have water from 8 PM until 6 AM th day we arrived (so no toilet), of which we were never formally advised. We called Vacasa three times upon arrival, to which they responded that someone would be there to rectify the issues before the end of the night each time we called. No one ever came or even called for our four night stay. On the third day, the owner checked in. When we explained the situation, he also called Vacasa, and, received the same result. We never were helped by Vacasa and had to provide our own necessities throughout the stay.
Having gone through this initial experience with Vacasa, we will never book through Vacasa again.

Music, games and access to the beach were awesome. Kitchen and laundry a nice setup.

Ice and snow limited our adventures somewhat, but this was a small and cozy spot to hunker down when we needed to. Lots of cool vinyl and rock mementos. As a 115 year old house, it is small, quirky, and a little drafty, but the furnace kept up well with 20ºF weather. It was cool to be right off the beach and sound, although the area isn't very lively in December. If you love music of the 70s to 00s, you'll love this place. Teenagers approved.

For most of us, a rental is a place to rest our heads between events, sightseeing, and touring attractions. This house IS an attraction! Surrounded by rock and roll memorabilia and hundreds of vinyl records made for the perfect vacation! Comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. Thanks for the experience.

This house is hands down the coolest place I've ever stayed at out of any rental house or hotel ever in my life! Not only is the house a piece of Seattle history being one of the first houses built in Seattle...it is bursting at the seams with rich musical history for all genre's with an emphasis on Seattle's contribution to music history as a whole. This is not your average rental house with the bare minimum to accommodate the most people for the maximum profit and turnaround. The owner of this house has put their blood, sweat, and tears into creating a lovely musical EXPERIENCE for the world to enjoy your stay and at an extremely affordable value for what your getting here compared to other properties in the area. You can litterally feel the positive energy the second you walk in the house. Every possible need has been thought of to have a great time. Every appliance, bbq's, fire pits cooking tools, spices, every pot and pan, and happy hour dish you can think of has been provided. The super cool owner even stopped by and offered tips to get around town and offered free access to bicycles for the whole family. Talk about good old fashioned Northwest hospitality at it's finest! The heart of the house, the living room is where I spent the better part of 2 days relaxing and getting lost in the vast record collection. There is litterally every possible classic record to appease any musical taste. The only time my wife could pull me away from the record player besides the event we came to town for was to go try the breakfast at the Easy Street Records Store and Cafe which is just a mile or 2 from the house and owned by the same people that own the house. We had a great experience there as well. Great food for all tastes, great service, great vibes, and extremely affordable and incredible value! And we got to stroll the isles and physically touch, hold, look, read and listen to and...FEEL music again while we waited for our food. Seeing my children wandering around an actual music store looking through records trying to find their favorite artists instead of streaming apps is a priceless experience these days! The trip was so inspiring that I had to buy some of my favorite records at Easy Street and ordered a good Pioneer plx-1000 turntable when I got home to start the journey again of building a record collection! All that being said I can't wait to return to the Easy Street beach house next time we come back to seattle. After staying here I can never go back to bringing my family to a hotel in the city when you get all this value and EXPERIENCE in this home. Thank you Easy Street Records beach house for providing such an amazing service!

We loved the location, the records and the vibe of the house. Great for our family of four with two teenagers.

Loved the location and cleanliness. Fun home with all the old albums. Very nostalgic for some of us that lived thru those years

I did not have a good experience. When we arrived there was NO extra toilet paper - no bedding for the hide a way bed - remote for main living room TV was missing - only one set of towels for a 3 day stay with 6 people.
I called the number provided to report the missing necessities on Saturday morning and we NEVER was provided the linens or toilet paper.CSR who took my call assured me someone would call before arriving with essentials. NO ONE ever called or came by.

Great experience!

The house is in a great location. The house is full of music memorabilia. It is almost like being in a living music museum. It is a great place, and I recommend it to anyone, especially music lovers.

We all loved the house, the records, the beach and the trip we took to Mt. Rainer. Our family flew from all over the country to be together. Beds were great….the view was terrific and we LOVED the fire pit area!!!!
