About this cottage rental

The lounge is very private and has french doors looking out over the rear garden area where you will have frequent visits from the local wildlife! There is a TV, DVD & stereo with DAB radio, CD player and Ipod docking station, very comfortable suite, fire with beech surround, oak dining table and four chairs. A garden table and some chairs are stored under the stairs.

The kitchen has fully fitted units, electric fan oven & gas hob, fridge /freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer.

Upstairs, the king-size room has a solid oak king-size bed, oak bed side tables and wardrobe. This room looks out directly over the River Greta and towards the fells.

The twin room has two solid oak single beds, built in wardrobe and oak drawers. Both bedrooms have co-ordinating bedding and curtains and will be dressed in luxury linen and towels.

The bathroom has a modern white suite. Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.

This quiet, comfortable cottage is only two minutes walk from the town centre yet backs onto the river Greta and overlooks fields towards Portinscale and the fells beyond. Quaver Cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideal for those wishing to get away from the noise of town whilst still being very close to the centre. Gas central heating and fully double glazed. *Complimentary WI-FI Provided* The cottage is suitable for one small dog

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

We had a super week in this well equipped and comfortable cottage sat in a quiet riverside location but only 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. Lots of walks can be accessed without the need to use the car. Car parking space a real bonus and Booths supermarket just at the end of the car park. We definitely recommend and would stay here again if we came back to Keswick.

A delightful and immaculately presented cottage in the centre of Keswick. Equipped with everything you might need for a stay in the heart of the Lake District. Close to all amenities yet tucked away in a quiet corner we thoroughly enjoyed our few days here.

Lovely cottage,close to the centre of town (5 minutes walk) but in a quiet and pleasant riverside location. Well equipped and comfortable it's got all your need for a holiday. Highly recommended.

Another excellent stay with Keswick Cottages at Quaver Cottage. Having stayed elsewhere in Keswick this ticks every box for us. Comfortable and well equipped for our small family. A few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and lake. A really easy and convenient parking space (unlike others I’ve encountered in Keswick!)…and now that I’ve got an EV, located right by the chargers in Booths car park (and can see when they’re available from the window). Booked again for next year.

We’ve stayed here about 6 times now and it’s a great little cottage in an ideal location. Lovely to see the pheasants, ducks and robins in the garden. Beautifully clean and warm when we arrived. Keswick cottages has outstanding customer service and fixed the issue with the missing internet cable within 30 minutes! Thank you again!

Super cottage in a great location. The property had everything we needed and was perfectly located for access to Keswick and its beautiful walks. Myself my wife and Bailey the cavapoo will be back. Loved it.

Comfortable cottage in a quiet location, yet very handy for town and supermarket! A well equipped kitchen, and books, magazines and games for a rainy day. Only criticism is that (like most holiday cottages) there is a need for SIMPLE instructions for appliances. Downloads of installation manuals are no good - what is needed is a one sheet idiot's guide. e.g. cooker quite hard to understand, and gave up on radio in kitchen. Bathroom a bit awkward because of fixed shower screen: you needed arms like a gorilla to reach bathroom taps before getting in!!

This was our second time staying at Quaver. Cottage is in a great location close to the Main Street but very quiet. Great having a dedicated parking space and cottage itself is clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at Quaver Cottage on 3 occasions. It is well situated for Keswick shops and Booth's supermarket. Also near to the bus station for getting around the area. There is a parking space for each cottage and also a small number of 'guest' parking spaces for visitors. The cottage is well furnished and clean. The rooms are modest in size but adequate and cosy. The location is quiet with no traffic noise even though it is walking distance to Keswick Centre. I would recommend this property for a holiday stay.

Quaver Cottage is in a perfect location short walk to all the shops ,pubs and restaurants. but its still in a quiet area . The cottage has everything you need for your stay , its is clean and well maintained . it has its own parking space . I've stayed there twice and have booked already for next year .

We've stayed in Quaver Cottage for 15 years while attending the Keswick Convention and have enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well appointed and very well maintained as well as being centrally located. Now even more convenient with the Convention being based in the Pencil Factory. Great cottage.

Quaver Cottage is a well-equipped home, including the kitchen facilities that we have stayed at multiple times. The beds are very comfortable. The cottage well-cleaned and all the basics and some extras are covered. The birdlife is fantastic. We found it great for 2 of us to stay and occasionally 3 but 4 plus a baby was a bit cramped. The support of the Keswick Cottages means that any little problem can be swiftly addressed.

A cosy cottage that we found clean and comfortable for our stay in keswick. Its location meant we didn’t have to use the car so much and Booths supermarket is just around the corner for bits and bobs. We are already planning our next stay. Oh…be aware that on opening the living room curtains in the morning you will find Phil the pheasant (and sometimes his wife) and Henny the duck waiting for breakfast… :o)

Good location for elderly as only short walk to all facilities so did not use our car for 2week stay. Bath/shower was difficult to get into for older people - support handle on wall was not reachable for shorter person from out of bath. Everything needed was provided in the cottage. Help, when needed, was rapidly available from Keswick Cottages

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was really close to supermarkets, pubs and shops. It has nearly everything you need. We stayed for a week over Christmas so also had some Christmas decorations which was a nice touch.

Another great stay at Quaver Cottage. Furnishings and equipment first class, with all home comforts. Introduction of welcome packs and towels was a pleasant surprise and a really useful tablet acting as a one stop shop on the property, equipment and local services. There is also an area at the rear of the property providing opportunity to view the local bird life.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage which is comfortable and well equipped. It is in a quiet location and is ideal for shops and buses. We found on arrival that in addition to our allocated parking space, there were a few spaces for guests that could be accessed with a key in the kitchen. Although we had enquired about parking before arrival, we had not been told about this facility which is useful to know.

Given proximity to town center, supermarkets, and bus service, this is a great location if you don't have a car or don't want to use it during your stay. Very quiet neighborhood. Clean apartment, well-equipped kitchen, everything in good working order, comfortable living room, good lighting throughout. Living room/dining area best if just 2 people. Space and clothing/luggage storage are limited in bedroom #2 but would be ok for young children.

Cottage is tucked away in a quiet part of Keswick but only 5 minutes walk into town, It is furnished to a high standard with good quality linen and kitchen appliances. The king size bed has a very good mattress. Everything was spotlessly clean. Definitely book a again.

Loved our stay. Very handy in relation to the other two cottages i rented for the family. Right next door to the major food shopping supermarket in town. The only concern was the shower which was difficult to control , in fact impossible to control if used on high. It was either too hot or too cold! It had to be used in eco mode.
