It was my family holiday to Japan for the first time especially with my kids looking forwards to it, I had booked 2 rooms with 1 adult and 1 child each at the executive level so that I want them to enjoy the privacy and exclusiveness. However when I check in the hotel, the staff told me the booking with Hotel.com and their system is different. Instead of 2 adults and 2 childs, they can only consider us as 3 adults. This means I need to pay one of my child to access to the lounge facility. In the end, I had rejected it and option out for the lounge access. I’m very disappointed. We had stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. Upon checking out our room, I had found out that the hotel accidentally charge me a dinning bill at the Hudson lounge for more than USD100. I am glad that I had checked the bill carefully and immediately rejected this bill as I had never dine in at the Hudson lounge. After the front desk staff checked again with the lounge staff, eventually they found is their mistake. I’m very surprised that IHG is an international hotel chain but yet they had made such careless mistake on the bill. This is the first time I had experienced such incidents during the hotel stays. Overalls, I should say that although the hotel was good but the experience with this hotel was not great and it did spoilt our holiday mood

Nice and clean hotel. The staff are nice and very accommodating, speaks English. I wish they have a pool, though. Not a lot of dining choices around the area that are walkable, you need to take a taxi. Great view of Tokyo bay.

Stayed one night after paying for two nights. Checked out before 8 am and still no refund for the second night at all.

The property is excellent and located near the bay. Nice walking spaces and close to 2 train stations.
The restaurants were great and overall attention to detail was admirable.

The rooms are very well laid out and spacious. I am very particular about where everything should be, where the plug is, where the ironing board goes, that sort of OCD. And it as though whoever planned out the room is as OCD as me. Love it.

We loved our stay at this hotel. There were a few cons, but first the pros.
THIS BED WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It was by far the comfiest hotel bed we have stayed on and we do quite a bit of travelling. Our room view was also REALLY nice.
For pokemon players there were 3 pokestops on our room, but if we had not had the bay view, there probably would have been none ;)
The service is definitely what you expect from a higher star hotel, but is nice none the less.
The hotel is connected on the 3rd floor to some walking platforms so you are able to get from the train station to the hotel w/o going down to the main street level.
As for the cons, we had the afternoon tea room service and it was soooooo bad. Was very disappointing :( Also a lot of the people staying in this hotel were big jerks. I know thats not the hotels fault, but still something to note. Watched a guy drop and break a glass at breakfast and literally just walk around it and not alert a single staff member about it. Was quite sad.
The buffet breakfast was included in our stay we booked, but not sure we would have paid the price for it if it hadn't been. Maybe the one day, but it was the same thing all the days we ate there, lots of options sure, but was quite pricey if it wasn't included.

Wonderful hotel! Staff is great and supportive. There were 2 waitresses in the restaurant that were not very attentive and we had to stand up and call them a couple of times as they would disappear. On the other hand there was a waiter that was super attentive and proactive. Very polite and helpful.

InterContinental Tokyo Bay is great value for the money, especially the concierge lounge, at approximately 40 percent of the charge for similar service at one of Tokyo’s 5-star hotels. The hotel’s location is very convenient transportation-wise in terms of the city’s incredible metro system. Lobby level Italian restaurant (Zillion) and the Hudson Lounge were both very polished. Highly recommended.

Our Airbnb didn’t work out, so at the last minute we booked this place for two nights! It was clean and quiet. The tub was awesome and the beds were comfortable. Worth every penny!

Thin wall..? I could hear next door Asian couple like 2am as if I was in super8 or something. They don’t bring ubereats to your room. Must go outside to grab by yourself. Fitness center they just put a few machine in regular room space by renovating. The view is nice and the bathroom is okay.

We felt this hotel was too far away from any shops or restaurants, it was like being in Canary Wharf in London!
There was a subway near bye, but that did not seem to connect easily to any other main line, so you need to walk 10 -15 minutes to a bigger subway line.
The worst is that food stops in the bar at 8:30pm (!) and drinks at 9:30pm. Seriously! All the other restaurants in the hotel also shut around 9pm. Not very handy when you come in from a later flight.
I know this is a big brand hotel chain, but the rooms were tired, the main shower poor (had to also use the hand shower to get any power), and there was no 'Japanese' feel to the hotel at all. Could have been anywhere in the world. Check in and checkout was slow, and very manual. Kind of like going back 10 years.
The staff, though, were good, especially the concierge.

Location was very nice. Room was reasonable sized. No garden, no opportunity to have a drink or small snack outside.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I saw some negative reviews regarding the staff but this was not my experience. I have been to Tokyo 4 times and haven’t had a bad experience with staffing or anywhere. It makes you wonder who’s leaving these poor reviews.
