Definitely older rooms but maintained well overall. When we checked in they had plenty of suggestions on where to visit in the area. Always appreciate the tips. Small bar behind the place has decent food.
4.1
Nice friendly place to stay.
4.1
We went to concerts at the nearby Caverns. They allowed partying all night. Great staff
4.1
Older hotel but it is clean and updated somewhat. Bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy, just needed a room for the night and it fit the bill
4.1
I was worried about booking here, but the reviews were all so positive. I was disappointed. The room was not good. The dresser and stand had holes in them and the sink was dirty (i.e., hair in it when I checked in). The staff were very friendly and helpful.
4.1
Was a great deal. Smelled like a old cabin. Was clean, people were great.
4.1
Quick and easy check in, good recommendation for dinner, and friendly staff, love the outdoor sittinf area around a firepit
4.1
Older facility but clean.
No fitness center.
Restaurant already closed when we arrived Sunday around 5p.
Great dinner recommendation from staff...Pap Ron's just up the road
Would have given it a5 if there was breakfast as a fitness center
4.1
Friendly, helpful front desk. Room was clean with new floors. Would stay here again
4.1
Great atmospheric place to stay. Clean good value great staff and good location. No too noisy either..
4.1
Stayed numerous times Old Smokehouse reopen with live music on weekends.
4.1
Cabin floors were not clean. Water was off through the town and they would not allow cancellation or offer a discount. Simply stated "not on us, on the city". Meanwhile, we are not able to flush, shower or wash our hands.
4.1
Very friendly staff, basic motel room that served it's purpose!

Amazing ..!!

For the money i spent it was perfect

We went hiking for the weekend and stayed one night. It was husband our dog and myself. Cute place to stay with dog without hearing people on hallways at all times of night like at a hotel. Quiet so our dog was quiet. 😀
4.1
A nice quiet place to stay.

Great staff! Received an upgrade!
Large rooms! Will stay again!

Floor was very dirty, pillow cases were stained. Beds were old and not comfortable.
Stairs to second level are old and scary

I’m on checking and was not very friendly. Dan gave us a room all the way to the back other place here on in the bathroom TV did not change channels stay on one channel not very happy at all
4.1
The single rooms are small with no desk, only one chair and no refrigerator. They put me on the upper balcony at the very back, so I had a real hike with my luggage. There were empty rooms much nearer to the parking lot.
4.1
Nice and clean
4.1
Not a bad place for fhe price, but our "2 queen bed room" only had q queen bed & 1 full (we measured the difference)
4.1
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious with easy convenient parking
4.1
Quiet, Quaint, and peaceful little place. Located just off the interstate, just on the outskirts of town with plenty of shopping and nearby activities for people of all ages
4.1
Furniture was old and very uncomfortable. Smell of the cabin was awful partly because of the fireplace inside and partly because of old outdated furniture. Overall cabin was so so clean could have been a little cleaner.
4.1
Met our needs for the night. Would stay again
4.1
The cabin was a cozy and peaceful get away. It had everything you would need to cook your meals then unwind during your stay.
I felt safe with having others close by not on the other side of a wall. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for the Cabin in the woods experience

As soon as I checked in they said they don't like locals to stay at their motel; They took a hold of over a $100 when I had prepaid for a room already on my card; when I checked out they did not take the hold on my credit card and we're very argumentative with me After they had insulted me by saying that they did not like locals to stay at their motel.

Just a quick one-night stay while we were in town. Check in/out very quick and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Did not have a chance to check out other amenities.
4.1
Great experience. It was quiet and a perfect stay near the highway. Our room was a bit humid, but still worth the price.
4.1
MY ONLY 2 COMPLAINTS IS THAT THE SHOWER IN ONE OF THE ROOMS WOULDN'T STOP DRIPPING AND THE KITCHEN HAD TONS OF ANTS.
4.1
The room itself needs maintenance and cleaning. Walls, floors and doors were filthy. Screens were ripped and there were several spots through the walls where daylight could be seen. The cabin beside us had a party until a little after midnight, which was ok, but they let their children play outside on the carts, which made a lot of noise. One of their guests also parked in our one spot allotted for our cabin, so we had to park across the road in a grassy area. The staff was very friendly though. (And I did not complain to the staff, so in fairness, I did not give them a chance to rectify our issues.) We did rent (2) 1.5 bedroom cabins for over $500 and it definitely was not worth it.

I like that it was simple. Clean ,quiet.
4.1
Mostly positives in terms of the location (nice & quiet), cleanliness, restaurants and helpful & friendly staffs. The only negative was the tv channels - slightly complicating to use.
4.1
The cabin was very dark. Uninviting!

The food at the hotel’s restaurant was horrible!! It just seemed like it was frozen and microwaved. The music was ok. The lodge itself is in need of updates but was cozy. The people working there could not answer any questions about the Caverns, which is why we were there.
4.1
Last stop before home in Missouri. Bed was large and fluffy. View was good on a rainy morning. Restaurant for supper had a lovely atmosphere.

Neat looking exterior, bed was comfortable, room was okay but the air conditioner was extremely loud. It sounded like someone was pounding on the door when it cycled off.
