Check in staff were helpful. Room was tired and carpet needed replacing due to marks. Food was not good. Dinner and breakfast pretty dire. Great to have a vending machine for essentials
4.2
I was looking forward to the restaurant after working all day. Only to find they only offered 4 different pizzas. I should have known with only one other person eating ☹️ I opted for the pepperoni. Not great I ate approximately 2 slices the pepperoni was nice on top not much else.! The hotel check in was busy so one of the two receptionists had to moonlight working on the bar to get me a soft drink in between checking people in. Room was what you'd expect clean and quite comfy
4.2
Nice hotel but the bed was too hard and it was impossible to heat the room with the ceiling mounted Aircon unit. The bed was also very small and only came with a small duvet meaning my feet hung over the bottom and my shoulders got cold.
4.2
Nice hotel out from the city centre. Bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. Biggest disappointment was having to pay to park. We stayed in the hotel as it was outside the city centre and had its own parking to avoid parking charges. Seems petty to have guests pay to park there when there's guest parking. Won't stay there again.
4.2
Comfortable beds. Carpet not very. clean

Hailey was very friendly and courteous when booking in as were the staff in the breakfast room. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Thank you for an easy and relaxing stay.
4.2
Good room for price.Great service. Great food in pub next door. Lovely buffet breakfast.

After seeing some bad reviews was bit worried but booked as only needed 2night stay , well I was pleased that hotel was Def not as was said in those reviews , been all over world bad Def seen much worse !!!
Reception staff very pleasant , room basic but it's not the Ritz so for price was Def fine , bathroom and shower nice , clean and great shower , asked for more teabags for them straight away ,
Breakfast is great , lots of choice , cereals , yogurts , rolls , fruit , toast and hot breakfast too , self serve buffet so can eat as much as you like , ( juice felt watered down but ok ) coffee machine and proper toaster not one of those other silly conveyer ones so all good to start the day
Would Def stay again , value for money Inc full breakfast ,
Lovely old pub / restaurant next door for meals in evening too
4.2
Friendly staff , breakfast was nice . Rooms a little small but very clean and comfortable .
4.2
Good customer service and big size of room
4.2
very bad experience
1. reception staff not friendly and rud
2. house keeping open room door without knocking and leave it open
2. house keeping took my laundry back and put it in the bin.
3. when I reported the situation to thw reception, the hotel manager accused of lying. He didn’t apologise! he didn’t refund me! and the regional customer services, said that my room was not cleaned during my stay, however it was clean, every day during the stay..
which means even their house keeping information are wrong
so in general... if your things get stolen from your room , they will not support you and you will loose your belonging and instead to having relaxing holidays you will end up with a stressful holiday

Was given wheelchair accessible rooms: clean and in good condition but shower water pressure poor and softened water. Water supply to hotel failed on second night so no shower at all on second morning. Breakfasts were OK.
I've stayed at this hotel several times before and had better experiences.
4.2
Shower toiletries and towels great
4.2
The room was basic. Everything was in its place but it was dated.
Good points: bed was clean. Kettle was clean. Bathroom was clean. Air on working. Staff at front was kind. Superstore was nearby. Close to motorway so it was convenient.
Bad points: water pressure was weak for shower. TV wasn’t working. The carpet wasn’t clean enough. Breakfast was simple and good but the fruits were all ugly, not ripe, hard. Not much parking space. They charge £5
Overall it was good. But everything was just basic.
4.2
Overall ok

Would stay here again. Reception staff were very helpful. Nice breakfast.
4.2
We thought your receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly as were the morning breakfast staff.
4.2
The welcoming staff
4.2
Overall nice stay, comfortable. Room was large and well designed, starting to show its age but not a deal breaker. Convent location.
4.2
Fabulous staff on reception. Nice family room but my daughter, slept on the sofa bed which was very hard so she did not get great sleep. The Hotel had good parking £5 for 24 hours. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful but quality of sausages/bacon not great but very good for the price. I would stay again
4.2
Stayed here after attending an open day at the University of Bristol.
Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely room and amenities, electrics are only active if you insert your room card in a slot near the door which is eco friendly. Nice, tidy and spacious room. Pretty clean and decent price.
The fact you can bring pets too (for an additional fee) is amazing too since not many hotels do so.
Wifi was easy to connect to and pretty decent.
Lots of choices for breakfast options and was delicious!
There is a pub right outside the hotel for more food/drink/social options.
There is a shopping and restaurant area 5 mins walk from the hotel.
Cons: Was expecting some sort of mini fridge for our own drinks like iced coffees and snacks but no.
Please specify at booking if you need a non-smoker room due to asthma or COPD etc. otherwise you will be designated a smoker room.
I would recommend taking thicker loo roll.

We had a short but enjoyable trip. Room was clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Parking is £5 which we didn’t realise until after we booked.
4.2
Room was clean and tidy. Good value for money. Parking was reasonably priced. The biggest problem was the noisy toilet door. If anyone got up to use the bathroom, it woke everyone else up too.
4.2
Very polite & helpful staff.
4.2
Apart from the food in breakfast, everything is good.
4.2
Well placed for university visit.
4.2
Overall was excellent but beds not comfortable
4.2
Small hotel but pricey breakfast adequate . Second visit not a fan but it’s local to where I need to be when in Bristol
4.2
Staff are very good and very professional.
4.2
A nice clean hotel. In a convenient business location
4.2
The room was clean & tidy but the bed was really uncomfortable, so didn’t sleep very well at all. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. The hot offering wasn’t very hot at all, the cereal and yoghurt range was very basic.
4.2
Nice stay, shame there were kids messing around knocking on doors, running up the corridor and shouting, this was at 11.25pm in the evening when I was trying to get some sleep. Breakfast was nice, big choice and the staff very friendly.
4.2
The only thing that done my back in was the hard mattress otherwise goof
4.2
Hotel was clean and room was a good size. However breakfast is real let down. Orange juice ran out, hot selection was cold and did not look very appetising, sausages were very pale and burst their skins.
4.2
Lovely stay, loved the breakfast included. Very friendly staff, happy and helpful.
4.2
Sadly a disappointing stay.
Buffet breakfast however no eggs on either day, no hash browns, only fruit were cherries and banana, poor quality and very limited options.
Bedroom was clean and modern, bathroom was slightly dated.
We really wanted to like it but couldn't.
I would not recommend staying here I'm afraid.
4.2
Very nice hotel and friendly staff , room was nice but as I arrived late the window was left open and air conditioning on so room was cold but apart from that had a nice stay
4.2
Lovely hotel I've stayed here a few times,
I was made very welcome by the very polite and helpful reception staff
4.2
Generally good.

Was a great overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Extra at Bristol Filton. Staff were friendly and welcoming after a long drive. No fuss clean tidy room. Parking was free which is great these days. Breakfast well presented and very plentiful. No hassle to get into the city of Bristol. Will definatley stay here again and we find the Holiday Inn Extras are better value for money. Well done!
