We’ve stayed at the Historic Davenport in the past. It’s an absolutely stunning place. The 1920’s architecture is beautiful. Good service.

Room was great. Flamingo Lounge was fabulous, breakfast was fine. Was surprised to see “Amenity Charges” for $40.00 and have asked what those entail or even mean?
2.0
It’s a fine hotel in a fairly boring city. It’s a shame, it seems to have once been a lively and prosperous place.

Always nice to stay there. I asked for early check in and they accommodated my request. Comfortable room, safe.

The newly added round bar is amazing. Staff was extremely friendly and show authentic interest in your stay.
History alone is worth a stay.

We came for a family wedding. The pillows were small and almost non existing, we called for better ones and then slept much better. 2nd day we received some new towels, old ones were left on the floor, dirty glasses were not exchanged and no sugar for coffee replaced. We got that corrected. Loved the bar, bartenders and service at breakfast. Food and drinks were outstanding. Loved the ambiance and location

The hotel was lovely and met all my expectations except for the mattress and pillows. We felt like we would slide off the side of the beds. Neither mattress or pillows were comfortable. Also the temperature was hard to control and not comfortable.

There was construction in the main lobby and exterior of the hotel during our stay. This meant that there were no food options or lobby options other than the bar, which was only opened in the evening. Unfortunately, there was no communication from the hotel about construction prior to our stay, which was very frustrating.

Good mattress but room had torn chair hand prints on head board. Various broken things.
4.0
Nice property even though we weee put in a room with no window which it would have been nice to get a heads up before we got in our room. Everything else was very nice and very helpful and friendly staff.

Really like the room and property.

Beautiful architecture and rooms. Clean and elegant. Easy walk to dining.

There are still things to like about the old Davenport Hotel. The Peacock Room, brunch and soft peanut brittle. Valet and front desk staff were excellent. The neighborhood suffers from vagrants night and day. Most disappointing was the housekeeping service where one person was expected to clean 100 rooms. There is no room service unless you ask, and then it’s the bed cover thrown up over the unmade bed with fresh towels just dumped on the bed. The refrigerators are gone (except in the suites). Corporate greed has supplanted the experience that Walt Worthy provided to Spokane. The City of Spokane also deserves blame for not policing blatant drug use, fights and vagrants sleeping on the street. In consequence surrounding restaurant and shopping options have now become empty space. Sad to see.

Beautiful historic hotel. In the heart of downtown making it very easy to walk to events and dining

I used to work in the spa of this hotel 15yrs ago. Back then It was owned by a local family. You could see they always took pride in all the details of this hotel. The outside of the building was always clean and beautiful flowers. Staff were always keeping the lobby clean, beds were so comfortable, the rooms were immaculate. Now that a big hotel company bought it it’s definitely gone down hill. The outside of the building is so dirty, the lobby is the same. Our beds in our room have been changed out and they are so uncomfortable. Hand towels are frayed. Nothing has been refreshed or a good cleaning. The homeless population around this area is awful anymore. I used to be proud to be from here but not anymore. Not worth the money!

The hotel is beautiful. The bedroom and bath are luxurious but the spa facial was the highlight of my weekend.

This is the only hotel worth staying at in Spokane

After a very long wait to check it I was told my room was not ready. It was already 4:10 pm. Front desk told me they would call when the room was ready. I went back at 7pm to see if my room was ready. My room was ready but had not received a phone call to let me know. The next morning housekeeping was very loud. I will not be staying here again.

Súper nice hotel, surrounding area looks like they are improving, but as of now it was kind of dirty and limited choices

Absolutely phenomenal hotel. It's a revamped historical hotel. The bed was super comfy, the room was a delight, the check in process was easy, it was a 10/10 experience. I love the quality and character

Very nice historic rooms and wonderful pool on property! Sad the room did not have a fridge though, as I would have loved to keep my leftovers

I didn’t think our stay was worth the price.
There are two parking options but the only onsite parking is valet. Both options were affordable but valet made unpacking our car and pulling out luggage an annoying process since we were “self-parking.” They refuse to give you a cart because the bellman needs to do it. Then you have to wait for your luggage in your room.
They charge a $20 resort fee that you are given back in food credit which we used to get 2 desserts, both underwhelming and basic. They also give you a “free” wine tasting which sounds fancy but consisted of a red blend and white blend that both tasted like cheap box wine from your college days. We didn’t drink it.
Our room was super basic. The lighting is strange and the bed was so soft my partner and I began sinking into the middle of it throughout the night. We asked for hand soap since there was none in the bathroom and we never received it.
The hotel was under construction when we stayed which didn’t look great but the other parts definitely looked like a museum. If you’re up for it, walk around the second floor and read some of the history while glancing at cool pictures.
The area offers good dining and shopping options. It is also walking distance from the riverfront park but that is the only thing I enjoyed about it.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

Bed mattress was our only issue.
Poor.
Lobby under construction was unfortunate timing.

Amazing historic hotel, beautiful rooms and close to the park. Their main restaurant was a bit disappointing as fell a bit short of excellent but everything else, including service, was above expectations.

Absolutely clean and well maintained. Friendly staff everywhere. I’ll be back and happy to recommend.

The property is great not sure staying in downtown Spokane is the best right now with the homeless population in Spokane

Upon arrival there was no shower gel or soap in my bathroom. Also, one of the towels had a sizable hole in it. The front desk clerk told me she would have the gel and soap delivered to my room while I was at dinner, and she wouldn’t charge me for the hole in the towel (which I had nothing to do with). When I returned to my room after dinner there was no soap or gel and the towel with the hole was exactly where I left it. I shared this information with the clerk who was on duty when I checked out. She was very apologetic and took note of the situation and told me she would do follow up.

Beautiful hotel!

The Davenport is an experience. The Palm Court is a gem for breakfast. Even the elevators have beautiful fabric on the walls. Bathroom could fit a dozen people. The atrium entrance rivals the one at the Palace Hotel n San Francisco.

Great atmosphere and service. The lower floors are a little bit noisy from the downtown traffic.
