Well, I felt like it was just another hotel pretending to be a 5 star hotel . The big no no was the swimming pool, where a light was broken and hanging in the electric cord (under the water in this pool). I have seen so many movies where electricity and water was a bad combination, I stayed out of the water (And the I'm pretty sure it was still safe...) Sauna....well should be hot, was more like Italien summer, not hot and to top it of, a plant that had fallen to the floor and lay there.... for I don't know how long. It can also annoy me a little that in a 5 star hotel, you have to use a coffee machine at breakfast and no personal service. The breakfast was fine, the staff were polite and everything was nice and clean. In similar hotels, it is quite normal to be served coffee or an expresso at the table. The jury is still out on whether I will come again, some things speak for it, but there are just so many other exciting hotels in Berlin in that price segment. Especially the experience with the pool and the wellness area was very disappointing that it could even be done with such defects not being discovered and fixed. My inner director would probably have scolded the person in charge of the area, but then again I'm only a guest and sometimes I just want to relax.

My only complaint would be that my bed was saggy.

It was Amazing…
Thanxxx a million JW Marriott Berlin.

We were very happy at your hotel.
Breakfast delicious, many choices.
The only thing that I missed in the bathroom was a vanity mirror that I could use for makeup and I think it is a little unsafe to go out the bathtube for elder people, because you can slide.
But all the rest was marvelous.
Staff very friendly!
Thank you very much

The location of the hotel is about a mile from Brandenburg Gate. It is considered walkable if you are fit. There are few restaurants within one mile radius. The area is quiet.
The room is clean and comfortable. There is a little noise from AC in my room, that’s probably from the aging system.
The staff is polite and considerate. In general, I had a nice stay.

Wonderful hotel. Staff works hard to ensure comfort. There was no hot water one day though until late at night. Other than that Marriott as usual is great. Not the hotel but the taxi outside would refuse short distance rides which was annoying as I had my elderly father who needs a wheelchair. We used Uber instead. And day of leaving when they approached us for airport ride I was like nope, we will use someone who wants our business.

I have stayed in several JW Marriott in Asia which were always excellent and expected this to be of the same level, but the hotel is a bit older. It is huge, really spread out! We had a room with twin beds. The room layout was not optimal and made it feel more cramped than the available space. There was a single power outlet between the tweo beds and no USB power outlets in the room. Bathroom had a dual sink, tub and shower and lavatory... again huge, but not as modern and comfortable as what I have seen in other JWs. Generally the facility was clean, but dated. Breakfast was great, as expected. Since I prefer to use the subway, the location was not the most convenient as it is about >10-15 min from a station. I am a loyal Marriott member and will go back to other JWs but likely not this one.

Room construction was not set up for client personal needs. No outlets for cpap, charging etc.
Shower head was broken. Air conditioning was very poor. Spare TP stored next to base of toilet was gross and improper

Stayed here with a friend for the Euros, a fantastic hotel for the facilities and dining, and close to Brandenburg Gate and other Tourist locations.

Very helpful staff, we enjoyed the pool, the easy parking at a decent price, rooms were spacious and clean with a great view! We didn't try the breakfast, a bit pricey, but the Baking Company has a nice spot in the hotel with lovely staff.

Hotel is really nice, personal has been very kind!
Few things to point out:
When we arrived at the hotel at 4:30PM we have been advised that our room was not ready (check-in was supposed to be at 3:00PM).
Second thing, they were no towels for the shower, since we arrived very late in the room it was not so convenient.

My stay was pleasant. Room was comfortable but dated. The cushion on the bench that was in the room 2050 was stained. And for a JW Marriott hotel I expected more! When you stay in whats consider a premium hotel you hope everything will be nice. I paid extra for the breakfast buffet! The variety was good but they had lots of fruit flies and flies all over the fruit and salads and again if you stay I a JW is not acceptable! The service was good and the hotel is conveniently located just 12 min walk to the Berlin Mall and many great German food restaurants.

My review covers the two rooms I booked in the names of Gary Napier and Klaus Nehyba. The initial check in went well, no problems. One room's refrigerator and the other room's safe were not working and both took two full days to be rectified, despite our requests in the morning and evening to chase up the repairs. They were only fixed in time for our last night. On one day one of our rooms was not made up, the maid came to do the room at 6:15pm and at that time we declined as we wanted privacy to relax. No matter who we spoke to we could not order room service meals. One staff member told us to use the Marriott home page on the TV but it did not display any menu options at all for room service, nor any ordering information. We spoke to staff in the bar and were told to order from the Steakhouse menu and to phone 1152. We did, and reception answered stating that we could not order from that menu. So we asked him for some menu options but he did not know any specifics apart from "soup", without the type and "salad" again without the type and "club sandwich".
