The room and bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable.

We planned to stay here for two days. When we arrived, we were mildly sketched out by the physical room keys (not cards), lack of a latch on the door, and fussy locking mechanism in the door knob. If I had been traveling alone, I would have felt too unsafe to stay.
Then we noticed the bathroom door, which was a sliding pocket door, was broken. This was awkward and inconvenient, but not terrible.
Trying to sleep at night on bad mattresses, lumpy pillows, and no blankets (just sheets and the thin decorative comforter), made everything worse.
The real dealbreaker was going for a shower in the morning and discovering there was no showerhead - just a pipe sticking out of the wall. We checked out a day early rather than spend any more time there. Added to the fact that the advertised indoor pool was closed and drained, the hotel was a total bust.

The staff was great to work with and super nice and friendly. Accommodating and excellent. The building, though showing its’ age, is survivable and clean. The beds squeak and have lots of springs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

"Inn" is misleading. It's a motel. The photo of the room on the website was not taken at this motel. But the room was fine and the location was good.
4.0
A good-sized room that allowed me to easily re-organize and pack by all my back-packing stuff. Very comfortable bed and quiet location.

This is a very old building that has been well-maintained. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Downtown is a long walk, but doable. There are a couple of restaurants that are within walking distance. The ferry terminal is extremely close, which is why I picked this. I suspect the upstairs rooms are quieter, because the downstairs rooms probably hear noise from above. Lodging in Port Townsend is pricey, especially in the summer and during special events. This is probably about the best value you will find.

We haven't stayed in a motel setting in years, so when I seen "inn"I thought it was going to be cozy but it was really set back to the '90s.
The service was definitely excellent though, And the room was big. Just a bit outdated.

Expedia is getting a detailed letter from me.

The employees were nice. The room itself was a bit strange, in that yo go thru the door, and have to go up a step to the room, and there is a hand rail to the left. the walkway area (burgundy carpeted area in the photo to the left) is kid of rickety. But all in all, we only went to sleep, so it wasn't bad

Very expensive for very little. The room is very small the bathroom is also very small. The bed was hard and the two thin pillows they provided did not help.

First, let me say, this is a good $60 room anywhere else. It cost me $200 a night in Port Townsend.
The floor was wet beside the bed and they must have gotten the mattress at a garage sale.
There are no curb stops in the parking area so it is easy to hit the handrails with your car.
Unfortunately, it’s about the cheapest in the area.

Great little motel, close to town. Staff was great! Some rooms were renovated (our friends were in one) and some were not. We were in an older room which was fine except for the carpet was sticky. Overall a good stay.

I stayed 3 nights. The maid would not clean or make up the room on any mornings. I complained to the desk, but nothing was done. What a dump! I do not recommend. Paper thin walls. Very noisy at night.

The noise isolation between rooms is zero. The shower sound of other rooms is huge.

Convenient location on town, close to restaurants.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Decent motel for the money, clean and tidy, no surprises. Would stay again, in fact this is my second time in two years .

DO NOT stay here! We were awoken all night by an alarm and ended up leaving a day early because the manager didn’t seem to care or give us any accommodations for the inconvenience. Also the pool is not working and the rooms are the SMALLEST I’ve ever stayed at. Would never return to this place.

Close to uptown and ferry terminal, great walking nearby. Laminate flooring makes it feel cleaner than carpeting.

We were just going through and got reservations at your place. For the price we paid $299.00 a night one would think the pool would be available maybe a soda machine that worked and maybe a piece of toast. Way to expensive for what wewas available. But i guess for the last room in town you can charge anything you want.

Very clean room. Young man working front desk, Super Friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thank You!

Pool and other amenities not available. Not even facial tissue provided in rooms. Property could use a lot of updating.

Spacious and clean for the price. Towels and soap are cheap. Good coffee and safe area. AC worked great. Beds were comfortable.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and very spacious. It would have been nice if the pool was in service.

"Motel" is how I would classify the facility. Bed right in front of door. Bath was room for one only. The old motel had been redecorated, painted, wood floor installed, everything improved, ductless AC installed, a really great improvement. But the basic "motel" was still there. The carpet in the entry way needs to be replaced. Full of wear spots and dirty beyond vacuuming and shampoos.
Greeter at counter kind of ho-hum. Handed me an old fashioned key attached to a plastic fob. At the door I understood: key lock in a door that had seen better days. Pool was there but closed for no explained reason. Woman with kids asked counter person why. No real answer. She had kids; asked for a discount for no pool. None given. Counter person said she is not management, can't make those decisions.
$210 per night, not a good value. Today's market maybe $110. Of course it was 4th of July weekend.
Don't get me wrong. The place looks nice and with some more improvements could be a good place. Not yet. Hotel.com research team may want to take another look at this facility again for value.

Walls were quite thin, price was a bit expensive. Seen motel 6 that are better quality for less.

The property has a beautiful view of the ocean from the second floor. Only difficulty was getting in and out of the parking lot. Room congestion can make it difficult some times.

Its kinda out dated but all of port townsend is thats just the look for the erea its a nice place to stay the staff are very friendly and polite. The beds need updated but over all i would stay there again without even thinking about it thank you all for a peaceful weekend

The room had a refrigerator, small sink and a 2-burner range built in a compact unit in the room. It turned out we just happened to get one of two rooms that have this feature. All the same, it was nice and we used it. Bed was good.

I was pleasantly surprised that when I arrived 3 hours early they allowed early check-in. When I was checking in the room was not quite ready. The young lady at the service desk went and spoke with the person who in the process of cleaning the room and it was finished within 15 minutes; immaculately I must add. Shortly after I entered the room, the cleaning person asked me if the room was clean enough. I've never been asked that in any hotel I've stayed at. I was pleasantly surprised two times.
Two thumbs up for this hotel. Thank you.

Great value stay with friendly staff.

A window into the past. Actual old style motel keys. Modern AC/heat. No elevator to 2nd floor. It was 50 degrees out and bathroom and front window were open. So the room was cold when we went in. It warmed up quickly but you would think since we had reservations they would have resolved this before we arrived. Clean, quaint. Would stay again.

Cleanish, smelled like cigarettes. Bed was hard, pillows insufficient. Can’t recommend

It’s a motel. Nothing fancy and some wear and tear. Fridge and microwave, bed was very comfortable and updated. TV selections are basic only, no movies.

Great accommodations at the Port Townsend Inn if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay! The staff are amazing! So friendly and welcoming, they deserve 10/5 stars! The only reason I rated 4 stars for cleanliness is to just set the expectation that some of the rooms may have some dust on the baseboards and areas that don’t get wiped down as often, but it’s pretty comfortable to stay there. Great water pressure and they allow pets! Close to everything. I love going to the co-op next door. Unfortunately they have not opened the pool and hot tub again after COVID, but that probably keeps the price low. I definitely recommend staying here if you need an affordable place to stay!

Five stars, my smoke detector randomly started malfunctioning and H at the front desk came up to my room to troubleshoot, listened to my concerns about the wiring and flickering light in the room, and, after being unable to fix the detector, immediately upgraded me at no charge. LOVE this hotel
