Modern and clean. Very centrally located.
4.2
A really nice big cottage room with a private courtyard and bath. Very nice
4.2
No bathroom in the room but great besides that.
Also. The bathrooms said they had towels, they appeared to have towels, after showering it became clear they were just bathmats. I sprinted down the hall to my room covered in bathmats and it was fine but not ideal. Just be aware of the towel size provided....

Perfect for what we needed. The brewery restaurant was absolutely amazing.
4.2
Very nice place. We were there mid week so the shared bathroom was not a problem. So centrally located, really nice restaurant and friendly people.
4.2
Cottage was private so no shared bathroom. Parking was directly outside the room and the inn has a restaurant and brewery onsite. The food and beer were delicious. The staff at the desk both at check in and check out are friendly, the gal at check in even gave us a quick tour! The only negative was the noise from the street, they left earplugs by the nightstand!

I had a lovely harvest stay. Got to taste wine at my favorite Keenan Winery nearby. The European style inn, WC down the hall, IS PERFECTLY nice AND ABOUT HALF THE PRICE OF ANY OTHER OPTION IN NAPA VALLEY. GREAT DEAL. LOVE THE EXCELLENT RESTAURANT WITH OUTSTANDING PATIO AND LIVE MUSIC DOWNSTAIRS. ALTHOUGH THE LODGE PROVIDED FREE EARPLUGS, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY SILENT AT NIGHT AND THEY WERE NOT NEEDED. No idea why this form just turned most of my review into all CAPS, but I can’t be bothered to rewrite it so please know I’m not yelling.

The bathroom situation is not bad at all, and everything was nice and clean.

For the price, we didn’t mind sharing the bathrooms. They were very private and we had our own sink in our room. Requested a quiet room and was given one. Went down to the bar for Happy Hour then enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Calistoga Inn Restaurant. Enjoyed acoustical music after dinner sitting by the fire pit! Honestly very relaxing fun stay!

I was hesitant to book this spot due to the communal restrooms, but it wasn’t an issue at all! Never had to wait to use the restrooms and didn’t even see anyone else while I was there. Very convenient location and very walkable. The restaurant downstairs was great for breakfast, dinner and drinks. The bed was very comfortable and I would definitely stay again.

Very quaint, clean property. Perfectly located at the end of the Main Street of Calistoga. This property has a great indoor/outdoor restaurant serving great California cuisine.
The room was very nice. Simple and nicely maintained. Craftsman styled with a sink and mirror for basic necessities and a shared bathroom/shower for all 17 rooms. I did not see a single person during my 1 night stay and all rooms were taken. The facilities are very nice and clean.
Pricing is very fair for the time of year we stayed (Summer). As this is a property built in the late 1800’s the walls are very thin and you’ll know the management is aware of this as ear plugs are provided on the night stands in each room.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again.

Great place to stay for a few days.

Very clean and quiet

This country inn is located above a very nice indoor and outdoor restaurant, which we enjoyed both days we were there. It is less than a 5 min walk to spas. Bed was too firm to my husband's liking. Nice linens. They do supply earplugs which helped with the morning commute. Street parking was safe. We felt safe walking day or evening. We would go back.

You do not get a bathroom nor tv in your room. It’s a shared bathroom. The toilet area don’t have locks on the doors. And the showers are shared. When you walk up the stairs you can here it creek the whole way up. In your room the floor creeks. Not worth the money staying here. Better off staying in Napa

Everything was great no complaints and quiet

Loved the place and the atmosphere there

Great stay in Calistoga. Prime location for food and shopping in the center of town.
4.2
We were concerned about proximity to the beer garden and noise, but even though our room overlooked the garden, we never heard anything outside. Furthermore, the hotel provided earplugs by our bedsides, which we found upon arrival. They went unused! Also, the room and bathrooms were exceedingly clean. Also, we never had to wait for a toilet or shower. We stayed on a Friday night at the end of June.

The new self-contained cottage is a great addition to the Calistoga Inn.
4.2
A very nice room. The shared shower bathrooms were actually rather private and there’s a sink in the room for teeth brushing and face washing so you don’t have to share all of your “getting ready” business in the main bathroom. Also the men’s’ and ladies’ bathrooms are separate. So that helps also. Bring your own coffee cup and coffee, coffee maker, to make your own since they don’t provide those items.
4.2
It was a great location and walkable to everywhere. Good restaurants in town and live music
Bathroom (2) toilets for 19 rooms and 1 sink only.
Bed not very comfortable, no TV, free hotel cup of coffee, but downstairs, outside and around the corner but not open until 8:30am.
Okay for a place to lay your head

In room A/C unit didn’t cool below 77*. Shared bathrooms woke several times throughout the night by slamming doors. Street sweeper stated at 4:50am

The cottage was so precious - loved my night here!

We spent five nights in the Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery cottage for our honeymoon. The staff was amazing! We were surprised by how quiet it was. There was live music on the patio and we couldn’t hear it from where our cottage was located. There was some street noise, but you get that anyplace you stay. We had our own private courtyard that was well shaded and had two lounge chairs and a small table. Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery is so conveniently located. We walked every morning to get coffee and breakfast at a wonderful coffee shop, walked to most of the restaurants and wineries that we went to in town, but very drivable to those that are out of the city limits. Upon checkout we asked to see the rooms upstairs and they were very accommodating. The rooms were nice and I don’t think it would be uncomfortable sharing the bathrooms. The only change I would make to our stay is that it would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in our room as anything we brought back to the room had to be eaten or thrown away. Would definitely recommend!

Nice rustic spot. If you are in the Calistoga area this is nice it’s right on the Main Street.
Weird to share the bathroom but adds to a little of the charm of this old building. No restroom in the room so that’s a walk outside the room also.
No fridge in room, would have been nice

Is ok

We’ve stayed a few times and always enjoy it

I liked the cleanliness and convenience

We stayed in the Cottage, which was lovely. The private garden in particular was great. The room could do with a few more amenities though, such as a fridge, coffee machine and soap etc.

Cute and historic!

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating.
The place was so cozy and quaint - I loved not having a TV in the room, it let me be at peace and away from it all!

Second time staying, looking forward to our third time

I hesitate to leave a bad review because it's only partially their fault. The walls in the hotel are paper thin and you can hear everything that happens in the building. The kitchen and restaurant are NOT the problem, that ends at a reasonable hour, it's the inconsiderate guest. We had drunken guest roaming the halls at all hours of the night both nights of our stay. One thing they should consider....robes for guests. As is the case in many historic hotels the bathrooms were down the hall. Getting up to use the restroom meant getting half dressed every time. We stayed in many historic hotels and in this situation robes are usually provided to make this trip in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning less inconvenient.
