Wonderful service! Clean, comfortable and adorable room by the river! Excellent and reasonable price! Also extremely convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park!

Took our kids for a family vacation and this place couldn’t have been more perfect! Can’t wait to come back some day!

We liked how close it was to RMNP, we were able to walk to Estes Park, so that wasn’t bad. Parking is not that good and it’s gravel so you track the sand into your room. But it is very outdoorsy and gives you the feel of being out away from everything.

The place is nice and quiet, the only thing that needs to be remodeled is the interior of the rooms.

The lady working there I believe her name was Jessica was extremely helpful and friendly! Made it a great stay as they are very accommodating. A nice little low-key place to stay that is away from town yet very close.

We LOVED the lodge and everything about it!

Our room was right in the brook, with a balcony overlooking the water. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone at the lodge was so helpful and so nice. We got in late. And the checkin was so easy! Would definitely stay here again. It was also super close to the park and downtown! Right in the middle between the two, so you didn't have to drive through the downtown traffic to get to the park. There were still restaurants in walking distance. Such a great, peaceful spot!

My 70 year old mother and I enjoyed our stay at Ponderosa Lodge. While a bit stuffy in the afternoons when we returned (daytime highs were near 90), the awesome fans they had in the room cooled it down quickly. I enjoyed sleeping with the window open at night. We had a kitchenette suite and it was so helpful to be able to cook on the stovetop in the room. The sleeper sofa was incredibly comfortable, as was the bed. Very clean with a nice staff. Will stay again.

We loved the Ponderosa Lodge! Highly recommended! We absolutely loved the location, so close to the entrance of RMNP. Staff was amazing and very personable (even gave us tips where to see wildlife)! Very quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for! We will definitely stay again when back in Estes Park!

This lodge was perfect for mine and my husband’s four day anniversary stay! The staff is so friendly from the check in process, which by the way she had fresh delicious cookies made for us at check in! To the staff that we would answer our questions about things around town, and the cute dog, super helpful and just friendly and down to earth.
Also, having a room right on the river was so relaxing to listen to. We loved hanging out on our personal deck and often just left our door open with the screen closed (bugs) so we could get the breeze and hear the water while in the room. We also got lucky and had two elk walk by!
The bed was very comfortable, having a mini kitchen worked out great for us too! The room had a fireplace, we didn’t use it. The hot tub is open 24 hours, we didn’t use it though, although it’s a perfect location. It has a playground for kids. The property is beautiful with seating areas and a fire pit too. I sat out on the chairs by the river while my husband fished. Easy drive to town and to all the shopping. We ate a pub super close by that was very convenient as well and delicious!
We absolutely would stay here again!!

Staff was super nice. Property was beautiful. They even have a little log book to write about your stay in the lodge rooms. So adorable. It snowed and didn't know it was going to snow! Such a beautiful place. Listening to the river at night was amazing as well.

I loved the atmosphere and the room was cute. I can’t really complain about the place or experience, except that the room was so hot and the fan did not help. Our room was at a consistent 77 degrees. We were unable to change the thermostat, which is probably so people don’t run up the bill for heat or air conditioning. However, it made it uncomfortable to be in the room even when sleeping. Thank you

It is in a great location close to park and town. Very clean and great service. Great service. U fortunately no air conditioner and I found it very uncomfortable at night. Opened the door and used fan to cool it down but warmed up quickly when patio door was closed. It has a latch so can be kept open at night a couple of inches but didn’t help much. My room wasn’t very private. If I opened the door and curtains at night and sat on sofa everyone coming up back stairs was looking right at me. Not all rooms had this isssue. Balcony wasn’t private. Just a walkway. Loved the atmosphere by the river and nature. Well maintained

The patio overlooking the creek was our favorite spot to enjoy on the property.

Love Ponderosa Lodge. This was our second time to stay here. The location is amazing; we love being right on the river. The hot tub was nice! My only negative would be the room was a little warm for our taste; we opened the window and used the fan and that helped. Will definitely stay here again.

Minutes from RMNP and downtown Estes. There are a few restaurants that are walkable to. We spent most of our time out and about, but when we were there it was peaceful. As an introvert, the balconies could have been a little more private as they weren’t completely closed off and you could see the people out next to you, but that would be my only complaint.

The location is excellent, the staff is very friendly! The carpet and couch seemed really dirty and run down! The bed and pillows are uncomfortable! The room is quite spacious and the balcony view over the stream is quite cute!

We liked everything - from the two most hospitable ladies who greeted us to the room itself. Room was perfect, right on a stream - with balcony overlooking. Beautiful setting, comfortable beds and great coffee! We’d go back if ever in the area again. Thanks!!
