What a beautiful place. The service is wonderful from check in to any of the service help. The choices for meals are great. We would highly recommend The Haven to any adults traveling and looking for an all inclusive vacation

We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Haven. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We felt well attended. The resort is absolutely beautiful and we would love to stay here again.

We recently held our wedding at this beautiful resort in Cancun, and while the venue itself is stunning with gorgeous views, our experience with the wedding department was a significant disappointment. Leading up to our wedding, we had our coordinator changed three times, with the final change occurring just ten days before the big day. While we tried to remain positive, the situation only worsened. On our wedding day, we learned that our assigned coordinator had taken the day off, and the events manager stepped in. Unfortunately, she was largely absent and didn’t follow the detailed plan we had spent over a year creating. The groom and I ended up managing everything ourselves, which added unnecessary stress to what should have been a joyful day. To make matters worse, after the wedding, we discovered that over $300 worth of our decor was either stolen or carelessly thrown away, and what we did receive back was damaged. Despite numerous emails to the resort about these issues, we have not received any response. While I highly recommend the resort itself for a vacation, I cannot recommend booking your wedding here unless you want to take on all the planning yourself. The wedding coordinators, particularly Karla and Julia, did not fulfill their responsibilities, and only one staff member, Lizandro, provided any real assistance. It’s clear that improvements are needed in their wedding department to ensure that couples can truly enjoy their special day without added stress.

We got a really good deal on this hotel, but don’t know if it would be worth the full price. The hotel is run down in areas, looks like it could be due to weather damage, and smells very damp, with mould on a lot of the outdoor furniture. The restaraunts were fine, but again if I was paying full price I would have been much more disappointed. We had a great time at the resort for what we paid, the staff were so great and there was always something to do. Vora Mar was our favourite, Olios was the least favourite. The buffet was great for breakfast and okay for lunch. I’d love to try more of the Mexican dishes but unfortunately cannot eat meat or cheese which was on most of them. We also paid extra for the tequila, mezcal and chocolate tasting that was absolutely fantastic. Other highlights include the breakfast servers that was always so happy, the mixology bartenders, cocktails at the lobby bar and Pepe at the pool activities!

Our 3rd visit to Haven. And still amazing. What makes it special are the people. You can see they truly like their jobs and care about the customer experience. A BIG shout out to Nacho (a primary reason we return and truly the face of the Haven Brand, Ernesto who was our Serenity Pool dude every day (and make sure we were well taken care of). Erik at the Serenity Pool Bar, Luis at the Steakhouse, Adian (who floated between Moon and the hotel main bar - and gave us amazing shots). Thank you for another outstanding stay and we will return again in April!

Outstanding 5star resort, food, service, cleanliness, everything! staff can't do enough for you. Ignore the people who moan about the seaweed on the beach, it is a stunning beach, and the seaweed is cleaned up every day (not that it was an issue)

It was my first time in Mexico and it was not what I expected. Cancún airport is very chaotic. Plan ahead, book a shuttle to and from the airport, it should be $15USD/person. Do not get a taxi, it’s an overpriced. Town and island should avoided - feels very unsafe. We weren’t aware the property is under going renovations - half the resort is closed which makes it not worth the price. For a major renovation project like this, the resort would have known months in advance and should have notified guests or added a message on Expedia regarding it so we could make an informed decision. That said, here’s a breakdown: Food - this is okay, some dishes were great, but mostly mediocre. Drinks - well done here Music - it was loud and live DJ into the night was a lot honestly. We were looking for some quiet time but didn’t get much of this day or night. Views - beautiful ocean front property, can’t go wrong here. Beach- clean but honestly did not feel safe with people trying sell you something while you’re trying to relax. Construction- our room was right next to construction work so it was loud. Staff - they were nice, polite. Room - not sure if it’s the humidity but the room never felt clean, even though staff was cleaning it often. Sticky and just felt moist. The rooms need to be renovated, finish work is done poorly, like paint job was done poorly, cabinets and shelves were chipping. Shower didn’t feel clean, and for some reason the water just smelled bad.

The round pool was closed during our stay and we weren’t serenity club so we were greatly limited and would have booked another resort if we had known. The food was subpar by even resort standards and both my husband and I got food poisoning on day 5 of the trip. We never left the resort

Loved the location- 20 min from CUN airport and we were checking in- 1/2 the property was closed for some upgrades but did not effect our stay at all- We upgraded to the Serenity Club Ocean Front Swim up and it was spectacular - Service by our Conciege and all the bar staff was exceptional- Don’t wait- and book it -

I am missing Haven while I am doing this review. I felt at home as soon as I reached Haven with the warm welcome through out the stay. I would like to extend my special thanks to the Staff that catered to us during our stay. Please convey my thanks to Tessa, Aura and Emerlito, Angel, Mauro have been great everyday. Loved the drinks made by my favourite Adrian at the limes bar and Fredi that we followed from serenity pool to main pool for the delicious drinks. I extend my thank you to the wonderful staff that made the vacation much more fun. Jesus also did rose petals on our dinner table one night. I loved the entertainment section as well. All performances were superb but I personally liked the circus performance specially the rope aerobics with Samantha. Pepe was a great host that kept the audience entertained. At the main pool really liked Shark boys energy. The food was great and the room view in 8215 being a corner unit oceanfront made my mornings worth waking up to. I can’t wait for my next time at Haven. I also met some people and had a great time with them as well. It felt like a great relaxing vacation. Also, during one of the shows at moon Cabret I left my phone on the seat and Victor at the bar was so helpful in giving it to security safely and I could get my iPhone back. Please thank Victor from my side. Hope to visit the 2nd time again💕💜

Haven is the most relaxing, beautiful, resort in Cancun. This is our 2nd trip here. My fiance and I got engaged here last year & decided to come back for our year anniversary. We had an amazing time again. This time we decided to do the swimout room. It is well worth it and I recommend it to anyone. The pool side service by Isaac, Rodger, Levi, and Freddy were the absolute best. The food was excellent this year, even better than last year. Sastsu is still our favorite. Limes is still our favorite go to spot at night. Our favorite bartender, Adrian, was back & made the experience the best. Dock's bar was also a go to spot. We absolutely loved POPSIDE duet!! We happened to see them first on Mexican night. Although we couldn't understand much they were saying, their contagious enthusiasm made us smile & dance along with them. Their amazing voices also made us make a plan to join them on our last night to dance & sing along with them during "Dance night". We will definitely be returning to Haven for a future visit!!!!

Robert was the most personable waiter on the resort, Very funny and never disappointed. Shark boy was very entertaining at the pool and activities. I took his aerobics class and floating yoga. Juan at the serenity bar made us his “Juan Special” we got one every chance we got. Tony from Aqua world is set up under the resort on the beach. He took us for a boat ride and needs more customers! We got to see really big sea turtles and ride the wind through the waves. 5stars! We will be back to visit this beautiful resort. There is a red light privacy option so you’re not disturbed. Nearby activities- The excursion we took to Tulum and the cenotes was fun but very hot. Bring an umbrella for shade and a reusable water bottle. Theres a no plastic rule. Safety- We never felt unsafe in this resort. Food & drinks- The fried fish at the grill was so good. The buffet has plenty of healthy options, even vegan options. The drinks are weak but u can ask for a double. ;) Noteworthy details- The spa has a hydrotherapy experience that was fun and relaxing. We got a couples mani-pedi cost $230. The polish was chipping in the next hour. (Sad)

The aesthetics are absolutely welcoming. The staff and service is truly amazing and we had an overall great stay with the exception of finding out long after we had booked our stay that the main pool area was going to be under construction so there were various areas blocked off at the hotel and a lot of workers and construction noise going on during our stay. That alone was a detractor from our peaceful vacation.

The Haven resort is about 2.5 miles from the main road. To get to Cancun hotel zone or downtown, you need to take a taxi or Uber. If you want to go downtown, you can take also take the minivan called Playa express. If you're looking for peace and quiet this resort for you, if looking for nightlife this not for you. The resort buffet food was ok, nothing special, and À la carte restaurants food was above average. If you arrive after 4:30pm, all restaurants are closed. So if you're hungry, your only choice is a coffee shop in the lobby with sandwiches or room service. Also, for the À la carte restaurants, you need to make reservations. The staff at the Haven resort are awesome, very helpful with all your needs and work hard to keep the resort clean and looking beautiful.

For our first time in Cancun, Haven was an amazing place to stay. Convenient location about 10-15 minutes from the airport. The property was also very secure as they had a guard station immediately once you turn off the main highway. We were upgraded with a room facing the water and it was simply amazing to wake up too each morning. Pat (bell hop) who escorted us to our room on the first day was the nicest person. He not only provided great customer service but once he dropped our bags off, showed us how everything worked in our room as well as explained the QR code process that takes you to the resort website to make dinner reservations, event schedules, etc. The resort also has a great pool with lots of different types of seating all around it or you can relax by the sea as well. From the Valet Parking, Servers in the restaurants, bartenders, and housekeeping, everyone made sure our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Worth every dollar spent!
