This is a lodge with a lot of history, purposely divided into multiple dwellings, so my experience is based on the superior luxury option on the ground floor which far exceeded my expectations and was what I was looking for to unwind after much travel over an extended weekend. A lot of thoughtful effort has gone into the contemporary modern decor and enhancements and it is a huge studio space full of luxury. Added advantage also being exclusive use of the jacuzzi with tranquil garden surroundings. Very secure nice neighbourhood, decent food options nearby. The Host was also very warm and responsive and quite detailed in ensuring an enjoyable stay.
as with all properties this age, the walls are thin, and you cannot control who your neighbouring guests may be...if you can get over this then it's a good stay,

Decent location, very nice room, nice bed, very good wifi speed
Doorway to the bathroom is for dwarfs haha. Smacked my head good couple of times lol.

Lovely room in a lovely setting. Extremely well decorated. Loved it.

Location was lovely and the room was large and comfortable, as was the bed.
We didn't see anybody during the whole period of our stay, which seems to be par for the course these days, so no personal touch at all. It was an old house, so door frames were low, meaning I regularly hit my head. Worst thing though was the TV, which was internet based and we couldn't access normal TV channels.

Good location
No reception, all contact by phone or text.Keys in combination key locker.
Guests expected to carry suitcases up and down stairs in stockinged feet.
Manager did not know SSID of WiFi network.
Temporary plumbing problems with hot water in wash basin.

Very beautiful location. Lovely room, very comfortable with excellent views of the surrounding grounds. Friendly and helpful host/owner. Two night stay. Booked the second night for my daughter who had the next room. Single occupancy in both rooms.
Would have given top rating apart from the plumbing. Had to stand in bath (that was not in operation) to use a shower. (Difficult for me as a senior.) No hot water in hand basin unless requested.
Room not refreshed on day two - i.e. bed not made or coffee tray cleaned.
No breakfast available. Steps to the entrance of the property are steep with no handrail.

Surprisingly there was no wardrobe or clothes rail in the room.

Excellent accommodation in a picturesque setting, Holly was very helpful and friendly
Would have been nice if a breakfast was available as we were a little distance from anywhere

Lovely big room, super clean and relatively close to Inkersall Grange where I was attending a wedding. Lots of communication with Holly leading up to and during the stay, who was fantastic.

A lovely manor style house in a very peaceful setting, close to village of Blidworth. Fox and Hounds pub in close by village of Blidworth Bottom serve great meals.
The bed linen and towels had been laundered in a extremely overpowering scented detergent which permeated through out the room. Not recommended for those with sensitivities.

Rainworth Lodge is a beautiful building surrounded by stunning scenery. We were in Room 2 which was lovely & furnished to a very high standard. Holly the owner is also lovely, nothing is too much trouble. She showed us round Room 3 which is exquisite, one of the best rooms we’ve seen in a Guest House. Thank you Holly & we’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast not provided at this location but mini kitchen to make our own if we wished to. Mini kitchen well stocked with tea, coffe, etc not the usual 2 or 3 token gesture tea bags. Room spacious and exceptionally clean and comfortable. Holly sent us details by text on the day of check in which made our arrival simple and stress free. She was able to accommodate a special request at the last minute for which we were truly grateful. Big bonus was the great Wi-Fi connection as we had a teenager with us! Most certainly the best accommodation I’ve stayed in for a while. Would most definitely recommend. Thank you

Kettle and tea provided. Quite peaceful and perimeter security was good; motion detectors and 360 cameras at the property boundary. Beautifully furnished room. Host was not available but said if I needed anything to get in touch. Getting access to the lodge is secure but easy to facilitate. Would be happy to stay there again. I required somewhere to stay overnight to pick up my car the next day. Nice TV to watch and bed was clean and comfy.
Hot water was not working. Used the kettle to get hot water. Double glazing units not well fitted. Bathroom window gaskets have failed. Right hand window upper left pane has a leak and is letting in cold air which is costing the lodge money in heating bills. I suspect that the right hand window was put in with the help of a hammer and bent the frame. No food available or nearby. Heated towel rail not working.

Me and my partner just got back from a overnight stay at the lodge. The room was absolutely beautiful, big sized room, super warm and cozy. Had a great night's sleep . The grounds are so beautiful. Holly the host was so nice, made sure we knew what we needed to know, will definitely be re booking, thank you for having us x
Nothing, the stay was perfect

We didn't meet any staff as we arrived late and left a little earlier than checkout but Holly was helpful on the phone. The lodge was very quiet and secluded. The room was big, warm, clean and comfortable and the bed was comfortable too. There were several teabags, plenty of coffee, a couple of hot chocolate sachets, milk and biscuits provided, always lovely. The towels were clean and the shower hot. Shampoo and shower gel was provided.
It wasn't Holly's fault but there was no heating in the bathroom, it was very cold when we stayed. And no hot water in the bathroom basin. Something wrong with a timer, hope they fix it. The sheet was clean but had a stain right by the pillows, bit off-putting. That's it.
