No tenía TV

Comfy beds, quality linens, cozy comforters
Towels were a little stiff, would be nice to have a hand/ face towel, and there was no soap in the shower..

The staff is the best ever.
Diego from Reception, Cristina and everybody at the restaurant have the best customer service ever.
Restaurant is also great, food is awesome and price is really acceptable.
The cabins are really close to each other. You can hear what is going on at the next room. No privacy at all.
Even the bathrooms are next to each other.

very nice staff (especially Diego) who are super helpful! beautiful area!

The food was very good and the employees are so friendly and helpful.
The rooms don’t have internet

clean, secluded, quiet
away from the town, had to walk to uphill and downhill to get to other restaurants

All people in the hotel were very friendly. Cabins are nice and comfortable. The area is a paradise, sorrouded by forest, gardens, birds and certainly the QUETZAL.
No doubt we will be back many times.

Top location in a beautiful location. We saw a Quezal and lots of humming birds right in the hotel.
Cold room. There is a noisy heater, but it is quite weak. Some staff doesnt speak Englisch.

Staff was great! helpful, friendly, flexible... perfect!
Noise from the next room was audible and therefore not very comfortable.

The concierge was helpful, the hotel was clean and the location and grounds were lovely.
The beds that we booked and were emailed back and forth with hotel before stay were not available to us or it seemed like were not even an option although they emailed us we would have a full, twin and trundle bed because they did not have bunk beds as the booking website stated. The bathroom would not dry out, every shower made everything very wet including the floor because of the humidity. They should have a fan installed not just an open window. The mirror was much too low to see ourselves in. Lastly, the service for dinner was very sparce, slow, and expensive. There seemed to be no coordination for our table. We had three or four different waiters and they all told us different things about the menu contradicting each other. It was very confusing and when we asked for the bill it took about a half hour to get it only after asking for it again. Because of the various waiters and confusion we were overcharged for what we had. Terrible experience in the restaurant.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The Quetzal tour in the morning was fabulous, with two great guides. The room itself was nice, with an additional heater for cold mountain nights.
Wifi not available in the rooms, only in the lobby and common areas. Dinner and breakfast were OK.

Breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable. Extra blankets provided as the temperature drops significantly at night.
The shower failed 3 -4 times per day. We had to keep calling the front desk to ask them to correct the problem. The last time they explained how to keep it from failing but it was already the 5th time we called. The heater in the room continuously turned off and at night it got extremely cold so we had to get up multiple times at night to turn it back on.

Love the hotel, I will continue to visit. It is my favorite in the area and being able to take my dog is alwals a plus. The hike the cold weather and the friendly staff always make my visit. Plus the go out of there way to ensure you have your needs taken care of... form contacting you with pre info... to helping set dinner reservations. And the FOOD!!!!! it was amazing!!! Remember also this hotel is the closet to the local hike entrance.

Staff was very sweet. Location was beautiful.
I would have liked a way to get coffee before 7:30 in the morning.

The area is beautiful, great nature, wildlife and hikes. Food in the restaurant is good.
Value for money is off. Room was freezing cold, which we did not experience at other places in the valley. Bed was sacked through. Lots of spiderwebs in the bathroom and insects/spiders crawling through the room. Lots of cracks under doors that let through the insects and cold. Even though we’re in nature this should not be happening for the money we’re paying. Restaurant was good but pricey. Wifi only available in the common areas, minor detail.
Were told at checkin that we could use a late checkout due to the football game that day. Upon checkout we were told that it was only possible in combination with a lunch at the hotel or paying for it. Ended up not paying, but left a sour aftertaste to our stay.

Loved the environment, the staff, the rooms, the scenery. Everything was down right perfect. The front desk and the guy serving during dinner were incredibly sweet and helpful. The horseback riding tour is excellent! The guide is very patient and knows a lot about the area.
The food is a bit over priced for the quality.
