I loved everything about this Riad. It still rich in culture with some modern infusion. It is bang in the middle of the medina so proximity is great. The staff were excellent too! I will definitely be retuning.

Beautifully renovated. The original features of this old Riad have been tastefully integrated with some modern comforts. The roof garden in particular is a very comfortable and relaxing space. An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby Souks.
There is really nothing not to like about this property.

When you go into Sakkan, it feels like an oasis - very peaceful and cool decor and good communal spaces.
the breakfast was good.
location was also good as it was on a relatively quiet street with high quality shops, pharmacy around it
the room that we had was incredibly small - we had to climb onto the bed and it was impossible to move around.
service in the bar/restaurant was usually slow.

Beautiful riad with easy access to the medina and beautiful roof top views. I loved the interior design and colour scheme - the green/black/white - so much that I've been designing my own kitchen and outdoor space in homage.
Breakfast was fantastic and I can only imagine all food from their kitchen would be delicious!
Loved our room, and while we didnt end up taking advantage of the in-room fireplace or huge tub, with a bit more time in the city we would have enjoyed these features.
There was nothing I didn't like. If I had to find something 'wrong' it would fall under the quirks of being in a riad - from young kids on bikes talking in the ally under our bedroom window at night to voices carrying in the halls and people ringing the bell at night to enter. If you need a perfectly quiet environment, then riads aren't for you.

Sakkan is a hidden oasis in the middle of the Madina. It feels like a luxury hotel met a traditional riad and it's done so well. The place is well designed, the rooms are big and the beds are so comfy, you will find it hard to leave them.
The staff is a delight and went out of their way to help us with everything.
nothing at all

We loved the location. Within Medina it is a perfect spot to start you souk adventures. We also loved the style which is mix of tradition and modern. The esthetic of the riad is simply beautiful with lots of plants around you. We also loved the music on the terrace while enjoying amazing breakfast or glass of wine in the evening.

Sakkan was an oasis. Our room was beautifully kept and was exactly as described. Ali, our host, was exceptional. He was always available for us whenever we needed anything and did everything he could to make sure we enjoyed our stay fully. Go Ali!

Everything, and every single person. I think the hotel wasn’t expecting so many guests for low season, and it was clearly understaffed, however everyone, from the kitchen staff to the hotel manager, made sure everything was running smoothly. They all deserve a raise and a bonus 😊 Ally and the chef de service were fantastic!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Riad Sakkan. The staff was friendly, the common areas are so beautiful, and the riad was well located (near the major sights but tucked away from noise etc).
The room I stayed in was dark and didn't have a lot of lighting, and it was difficult to see/get ready in the evenings.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sakkan. From check-in onwards, Veerle and the super friendly staff do everything they can to make you feel at home. The room and bed are very comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is extensive and the Riad is easy to find and located in a safe neighbourhood. I can recommend Riad Sakkan to anyone who likes to stay in the heart of the Medina in all the luxury you could wish for.
Everything was perfect!

*Outstanding design and taste: Very instagrammable Riad in the centre of Marrakesh - I would say even one of the most beautiful. Recommend to go for a coffee or tea to their rooftop bar and take a picture of their very beautiful courtyard.
*Centric location: It is in the very centre of the busy Marrakesh medina, where it can be loud at times. In general, we slept very well in the comfortable beds.
*Pool: Pool area is very stylish and invites to relax. On booking description it says "heated" pool, however during our stay in October it was not heated and it is mostly in the shadow. Maybe they turn the heating on request or only in the winter months?
*Price/Quality remark: Room prices are rather high for the average quality service and patio/rooms could do with a bit more cleaning (also vacuuming if possible!), wiping mirrors and daily removing the leaves that fall especially in autumn. Already when checking-in, I asked the cleaning team to vacuum the floors again. They then came and wiped it.
*Wifi: Unfortunately the WiFi did not really reach our room, but this did not much bother us as it worked well in the communal areas.
