The property was within walking distance of most of the attractions and therefore a good pit stop when we needed a break from all the walking. It’s lovely inside, very well thought out and comfortable.
There was only one thing I would suggest, and that’s a first aid box. My daughter cut herself and we had to run over to the nearest corner shop to get a plaster.

Posizione ottima e tranquilla, molto carino e attrezzato l'appartamento. Ci siamo fermati gli ultimi giorni di rientro da un tour della Scozia e avevamo necessità di un po' di relax.
I letti sono un po' scomodi.

Location and cleanliness
4.0
Excellent location, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, incredbible views over the city. Very cosy and pleasant apartment.
The description of the apartment does not mention how steep the flight of spiral stairs is. This apartment would be unsuitae for anyone with any type of mobility issue or those with toddlers/babies.
No toiletries provided apart from little hand soaps despite description saying toiletries provided. No hand-wash, shower gel etc.

Location was great, beautiful views. Attentive host.
Beds not so comfy, and the pullout sofa is suitable for one adult or two small people (children). Very steep stairs and three flights to walk up, but was ok for us.

Amazing location and views.
Absolutely perfect.
Not one thing! This place is a 10+

This place was centred in the most perfect location, right next to Calton Hill, Arthur's seat walk and the central streets of Edinburgh. The apartment was cosy and had the most beautiful views from every window. Travelling from the airport to the apartment and back was seamless with a short 7-minute walk and the flixbus in the centre. John was a great communicator, with fast and detailed responses. This place had plenty of amenities - including multiple heaters to keep us warm during winter. Thank you John - we adored our stay here!

Beautiful apartment, perfectly located
Not that I didn't like but the front door was a bit tricky.

This lovely property was in a fantastic location with stunning views and an easy walk to the Old town and centre of Edinburgh. It was beautifully clean, snug and warm and great value for money. It is reached by climbing up quite a few steps but that didn't bother us in the slightest. The property had a lot of character but felt modern inside. A great place to stay. Communication with the owners was great. Thanks for an amazing stay! We will be back

Location was absolutely perfect for getting around Edinburgh on foot. The accommodation was great, our host also as a minor issue dealt with immediately. Can't fault the accommodation in anyway and will be booking again.
There wasn't anything I didn't like, but the stone, circular steps inside are not for the faint hearted 😁

The location was perfect. The flat was adorable with a lovely view.

The apartment is centrally located, walking distance from the main sights and only 5 minute walk to Waverly station. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the coffee making facilities! The views from the apt are great. The only thing is one has to navigate a lot of steps, many steep and a steep walk up to the apt, which can be a challenge for those with mobility issues. John was also kind enough to keep our bag, and then bring it to our when our travel plans suddenly changed.
The navigating uphill and steps leading to the apt. I was travelling with my elderly mom who did find this challenging.

A very central location close to the station yet on the edge of Calton Hill. Very peaceful for such a central location. The layout of the apartment was good for two people with a good separation of space between the bedroom area and the sitting room area. Access was via a spiral stone staircase which was charming but this would be impossible for those with mobility challenges.
The apartment is a little tired in terms of furnishings and would benefit from updating but this was outweighed for us by the location

The building the apartment is in is very historic and beautiful. The views are, as the name suggests, really lovely. The bed was super comfy and the layout made very effective use of the unusual attic space with multiple windows front and back - each offering an interesting view of parts of the city (and beyond). The location is brilliant if you coming in by train, and right on the doorstep of the main sights.
This isn’t a dislike as it is part of the heritage of the building, but it is worth echoing what others have said about the steps/spiral stone staircase which would make it unsuitable for people with any mobility issues, or very little kids. But for everyone else I can thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment and very much hope to come back myself!

It’s spacious, great for 4. Good location. Good price. Good wifi.
The heating was awful and hot water in the shower wasn’t hot at all.
It would be a fine place during summer, but definitely not in winter.

The location of the apartment is fantastic, just 5 mins from Edinburgh Waverly and such gorgeous views of the city. My host was amazing with great communication and the apartment is gorgeous. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom and I will definitely be staying again. I loved it, much nicer than a hotel and great when away for business for a couple of nights. Highly recommend!!

Location was perfect, 5 mins to Playhouse and 5 mins to the train station. nice views of the city and beyond. lovely restaurant across the road.
No lighting in the stairwell, slightly cold this time of year to be in a loft apartment I suppose the storm did not help,
