Splendid Star San Marco Square apartment located in the very heart of Venice 200 feet from San Mark's Square and only 4 minutes walking from the Rialto Bridge, with 4 windows and 2 balconies on the most important and famous street of Venice where there are all the most famous shops, hotels and restaurants. On the 3th floor of a 12 century Venetian building totally, completely renovated and newly furnished in 2014.
Brand new apartment, just refurbished ( 2014 ),it is composed by an elegant living room with a kitchen , 1 triple bedroom (1 king size bed + 1 single sofa' bed ) living room with 1 double sofa' bed, + 1 single sofa bed + 1 bathroom, + double chemotherapy shower, and air conditioned in every single room, Sky TV + satellite -internet TV - cable/tv/ and large led television in every single room , 5 windows + 2 balconies on the main and the most famous venetian street, and the view of the SAN MARCO SQUARE bell tower. ( Total sleeping 5 persons )

The apartment is good, with a great location near Plaza St. Marcos. It was clean and well-equipped, and the owner kindly provided some food and sodas, which we appreciated. We also enjoyed good Wi-Fi and a nice TV. The only downside is that the apartment is on the third floor, which means there are a lot of stairs to climb, and there is no elevator."

We absolutely loved our stay! Monica and Fabio were helpful kind and responsive. The room was everything we needed as a family of 5. Of all the places we stayed in Italy this was best value for money. The washer and dryer were a godsend, the fridge had a few much appreciated drinks and there was even a simple breakfast offered. They were also able to hold our bags after we checked out. We couldn’t have been more pleased and would recommend them to anyone thinking of staying in Venice.

Amazing location in center of Venice. Plenty of room for family 5. Convenient touches like easy check in and food/drinks there for snack after day of travel. Air conditioning and wifi are top of the line. Surprisingly quiet for central location. From our family's perspective, steps to room were easy, nowhere near as difficult as similar apartments in Paris and NY.

This large apartment is ideally located only two minutes away from place San Marco. The owner is is always available and gives plenty of explanation. This apartment is also very well stocked with things to eat and drink. I would say that check in would be improved if someone was present. Our was completely virtual.

Welcome snacks and drinks Clean with plenty of room Ok bed A/C works great after bit of a learning curve Cons: Street noise, busy area especially in the morning 3 flights of stairs (could be tricky for some, just a heads up)

Splendid Star was a great place to stay in Venice, quite close to San Marco Square, well appointed with the best stocked kitchen of our trip. The owners provided videos to show how to reach the property prior to our trip and were quite responsive to a minor problem we had with the room safe. There are 57 stairs to climb to reach the apartment, so anyone with bad hips, knees, or ankles might not find this property best for them.

Sure there were mosquitos, and a power outage, but Fabio and Monica took care of everything, really quickly. (Btw, say zanzare for mosquitos, as the English sounds a lot like "mosca" which is Italian for fly). and yes there are 57 stairs but there are stairs all over Venice. There was a lovely welcome package on my arrival which made that first morning so much easier (and then go find Rosa Salva, it's around the corner and over a bridge). It's in the the tourist zone but a less zany world is only a few bridges away. Clean, cosy and perfectly central. Thank you Fabio & Monica!!! you are the best!!!!

This was my third time staying at this Venice property and as always it was great. The hosts provided food and coffee for breakfast which was very much appreciated. It was an easy check-in and communication was returned quickly. The location of the apartment is very close to San Marco Square but the windows are soundproof so we always got a good night's sleep. We'll be back! Thanks Monica and Fabio!

Pros: great location/plenty of room/host was helpful and easy to communicate with/54 stairs to get to apartment good exercise. Cons: could use a deep cleaning and a little touch up painting /curtains need to be repaired....54 stairs to apartment....helps keep you in shape...but not for faint of heart. Thank you MONICA for everything...very pleased overall...

The apartment was in a great location minutes from St Mark’s Square and is on one of the main walking paths to go any direction you needed. Close to everything. We loved the decor and all the amenities inside. Check in was easy and we were able to leave our bags inside before check in time. Be warned if you have problems walking or going up stairs. The apartment is up three very steep flights of stairs.

Overall good experience and would recommend. Great location, easy communication with the owner and great size. A few negatives are the very steep stairs getting to the place. The apartment was not ready at our scheduled check in. And it could benefit from a deep cleaning.

Apartment was exactly as described and just outside St. Mark’s square, so really convenient. Very clean on arrival. Lots of info from owner and easy check in. Washer and dryer were great to have., as was ac. No issues with noise, even though you are right above a very busy street. Kitchen was well equipped

The apartment is very large and well-appointed. Fast wifi, good communication. Best of all, the location is literally 300 feet from St. Mark's and still, somehow, utterly silent. It was a great find.

This Venice property had everything great location, good size for 4 people clean and good staff. Instructions on how to get to the location from the airport were clear and easy to follow. Monica was very nice and easy to get a hold of. Everything went smoothly and we would definitely stay here again when in Venice.
