About this cabin rental

The entire cottage is at your disposal and offers many possibilities for complete privacy or abundant outdoor fun. Comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults & 2 children OR 2 adults & 4 children. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. There is a Master Bedroom with King bed and vanity in closet and the second bedroom is located in the loft with two twin beds. Full kitchen w/stainless appliances, granite countertops, & stacked laundry unit. All cooking supplies such as pots, pans, bowls, etc. are included.

There is a full bath and a half bath in the loft area.

Great Room with soaring ceiling & abundant natural light has a safe & efficient electric fireplace to instantly set the mood.

Free Fiber optic high speed internet and ROKU smart TV keep you up to date with what’s going on around the globe while you relax in this little remote and scenic hideaway.

Wrap-a-round deck features fire table for ambiance and gas grill for bar-b-q. Down the metal steps is your own private trail to Center Hill Lake. Enjoy view or wet a line. THE TRAIL IS STEEP.

The check in was extremely easy and host's communication was great. Very clean and comfy all around. I read previous reviews and the trail down to the lake is a hike but what we expected for experienced hikers like us. The location also was not a problem. We plan for everything. All the hiking spots are 15 to 45 minutes away but for sceultions it was great. Cookeville is not but 20 minutes away. The have updated the depot district and the food at seven seas and crawldaddys were awesome. I would recommend this for anyone that loves the outdoors enjoys hikes and enjoys quiet nights.

Spent Sunday - Tuesday here with my family. Had a great time chilling. Swam in the lake and kept the lazy day in a perfect way. My wife and I were in the primary bedroom and adult daughter slept in the spacious loft. It was hot outside (highs on the mid-90s) but cool inside. Definitely recommend.

Eagles nest is a beautiful property. 1 bedroom plus loft space with 2 twin beds. The porch area is lovely and relaxing. Everything is very clean. Rules are very clear which is nice. Only drawback is difficult lake access. Path is very steep and getting into the lake muddy and murky. Wouldn’t advise if the lake is your main reason for visiting. Overall very nice getaway

The property was wonderful and very well appointed. Nice and clean with great beds and linens. The access to the lake was not what we expected. It is a very steep grade to get down to the lake, and there wasn’t really a path, more just straight through the woods. But overall we had a great, peaceful stay for our anniversary.

The cottage was very nice. I was disappointed in the path to the water. It was not as described. Rather steep decline and path not easy to negotiate. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Cabin was fantastic. Beautiful interior. Biggest draw back was probability our age. 72/75. Path down to lake was a good 80% straight down. It rained to make it slippery. So we did not make it to the lake. Road was a little iffy too.

Just what we needed to recharge. Quiet, relaxing, and cozy spot. The cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend away from the city. We will be back.

We found the cabin to be very quiet and peaceful. Tucked away down a gravel lane was our perfect getaway. Eagles Nest was exceptionally clean with everything you could want, from pots, pans, utensils, and linen. The beds were clean and had soft sheets and fluffy blankets. Pack up your groceries before arriving, the store is 20-30 mins away, but we didn't mind. Small price to pay for the quiet. The small beach area just down the street was easy to navigate on foot and some flat rocks were perfect for fishing from. Visit the Burgess Falls or the Harmony Farm and Creamery to cuddle goats! We had a wonderful stay! Thank you, Kevin!

This property is exactly as shown on the listing. The interior is tastefully decorated and very clean. The owner has thought through all the details to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. There’s wi-fi, coffee maker, washer/dryer, plenty of towels, comfortable living room and more. The drive to the cabin is beautiful as you wind through the stunning countryside. I was visiting my daughter in the area so I didn’t spend any time on the patio but the furniture and amenities on the patio are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the exceptional stay.

This is an adorable little getaway. The last little stretch of road is narrow, windy and bumpy so count on driving pretty slow and plan to Stay in after dark. Definitely remember to bring your groceries with you. It was peaceful, relaxing and has a nice size deck with a fire table and grill (though… there were 3 propane tanks but barely any fuel in any of them) We would have spent more time by the fire if we had more propane. The deadbolt doesn’t work but at-least the regular door locks when it’s closed. The view is beautiful. Overall, it was a perfect little escape.

Kevin’s place is wonderful - the perfect little nook for a getaway. It is roomy enough for 2 or 4 or more with everything you need. Walkable down to the water and a quick drive into towns. Beautiful views off the porch and all the peace and quiet you could ever wish for.

We needed a getaway from the city and this was the perfect spot! The area was a small drive out to the beautiful country and the home sits on a hillside overlooking the lake. There is a path down to the water with many opportunities to play in the water or just sit and watch the sun come up. This home was immaculate and has all that you need to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend this. When staying here go out and enjoy the deck and just a short drive to Burguss falls❤️

My wife and I enjoyed a great weekend at the Eagles Nest Cottage! It was close to the lake with lake access via a short trail, and we were able to paddle board without having to go to a boat launch or park. It was also only 20 minutes away from the Burgess Falls hike and park. The cabin was well kept and clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive as well. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend the cabin for anyone looking to enjoy the lake and the surrounding area!

Hubs and I needed some time to get away and reconnect. This was perfect spot with great views of the lake, fire pit and seclusion. Be sure to bring your food with you as you are miles from grocery stores and restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Perfect property and exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was remote and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend noting that GPS goes a little off when you get close because arriving at night was tricky and we got lost. Overall great place and would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect little cottage for a nice getaway. It was very clean and it had everything we could possibly need. We loved how it was secluded on the hillside over looking the lake. Perfect for what we needed for our quick visit to this area!
