Blue Nile House is a fantastic place to stay on the West Bank of the Nile. From the moment we arrived, Seyed greeted us and was very kind and explained everything. The flats have fantastic views of Luxor and the Nile. The breakfast was delicious and we also had dinner at the property which was great. Seyed also organised a taxi for us to the airport which was very kind. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay!!

The two bedroom apartment was so clean and spacious. The pool and patio area very refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Located in a village across the Nile, away from the noise and crowds in Luxor. We loved our stay here!!

Blue Nile House on Luxor West Bank was like a dream. We had a spacious, well equipped room that had a nice bathroom and 3! balconies. The small family-run hotel was beautiful and they were incredibly hospitable and friendly. They did their best to accommodate all of our needs. Breakfast was simple but nice and their menu for dinner consisted of delicious dishes at a fair price. The hotel is located in a rather unassuming neighborhood, but you can get a taxi or the nearby ferryboats to the East Bank to get to the city centre and more ‚touristy’ areas. Perfect base for Luxor with a comfortable outside area overlooking the Nile. We would highly recommend you spend a few nights at Blue Nile House, it was very enjoyable. شكرا جزيلًا 🤩
- just remember you can take tuk tuks to the ferry.

The Blue Nile House is a small, very clean, family establishment with everything you need for a good stay. They offer the best breakfast we had during our stay in Egypt and have a meal card available on request. You can also book activities directly with them. The whole family of this hotel is at your disposal and makes you feel at home. The view of the Nile, the rooftop and the swimming pool are real pluses. I recommend that you spend your stay with them!

It's away from the city hustle and bustle you are taken to a place with simpler times with genuine town folk around you. The view was amazing can see the West Bank and people fishing early morning, boat tours happening. What took the cake was the room size and the shower water pressure. I've stayed in most of the cities in Egypt, and this was the only place during my 10 day trip where I enjoyed a good shower. You don't get just a room you get an apartment. A spacious apartment. Also, the owner and his family that run the place are sooo down to earth. Their cleanliness would pass any LQA audit for sure ! If they make minor changes, they can complete with the major players on the other side of the river. Give this place a shot they won't let you down.
Only gripe would be that even though they have card payment options, they advise to use cards only for big amounts only as they seem to get a hefty charge back. But it'd not their fault as it's a family inn.

We had a fantastic time with our host Sayed who was there every time we needed it, name it taxi, food, drinks, tours and more. The hotel had all the conveniences we could ask for and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Our apartment was huge, clean and very cosy! We also enjoyed our time at the pool, having shisha or enjoying our breakfast, combined with the beautiful view at the Nile. I totally recommend it if you ever think of staying in Luxor!

Great place to stay if you want to visit valley of kings and Ramses III temple. Staff is very nice and friendly s they served us breakfast right after our balloon ride. Rooms were big.
Neighborhood is safe but doesn’t look like it.

Wonderful stay on the West Bank of Luxor - great value, friendly staff, refreshing pool, beautiful view of the Nile, tasty food, huge room. I recommend you book your tours/taxis etc also through the hotel (we did the Valley of the Kings tour and a hot air balloon ride, but didn't book the taxi from the train station as we didn't know what time we arrived, but wished we did afterwards as getting a taxi on the street was a not-excellent experience) - very convenient and fair prices in comparison with other tours but with more privacy. It's a 30 minutes rural walk (or 10 mins with a taxi or tuk tuk) to the West Bank ferry where you can cross for 5 Lira to the East Side. Some good restaurants on this side - either near the ferry or closer to the hotel.
Nothing really!

1. Pick up/drop off and taxi service for the day to Valley of the Kings… by Ahmed is great. he is on time and polite, didn’t even expect tips when I gave him for his service
2. The apartment is big with beautiful bales view of Nile and East bank. wifi/air conditioning, hot water, fridge and kettle all works well. bed is comfortable and there were 2 bottles of water in the fridge
3. The pool and deck for relaxing is AMAZING after a hot day sightseeing. I love laying on the deck and look out the view
4. The rooftop for sunset and more panoramic view of the Nile is a must. I was out very early in the morning so didn’t see the sunrise but I am sure you can see the sunrise from the balcony as well
5. Since I was out before breakfast time, the brother of the owner( sorry I forgot his name) prepared me the breakfast box the night before so I can have something to eat which is very appreciated!! ( bread/jam/boiled eggs/bananas)
6. very relaxing and free from noises but birds chirping, wish I could stay one more day.
7. You can take tuk tuk or walk to downtown then either public ferry(5E£) or private boat to east bank( I didn’t take that but I think you can negotiate to 30-40E£)
8. Do your shopping ( drink/snack/fruit) in town if you don’t want to buy it in the hotel as I didn’t see any shops around the hotel. You can order food in the hotel I was told it’s good
pillows are too high for my neck. the location is around 3km from downtown west bank. so you need to factor the commune time and $, if you want to go to west bank or felucca trip.

We read “A” grade reviews on all booking platforms and had to experience it ourselves. What a fabulous time at a non-touristy homestay. Mr Sayed and his family run the Blue Nile House and surely go above and beyond to fulfil every small need of their guests, from arranging a pickup from Hurghada airport to cooking the best Egyptian meal upon arrival. We were made to feel at home at once. The homestay is spick and span and comfortable, and the apartments are spacious, with a great view of the River Nile. We had to cut short our trip, but undoubtedly we will choose to stay here as they have become our family in Luxor. Thank you very, very much, Mr. Sayed and everyone at the Blue Nile for treating us like your own and for all the kind assistance.

Huge 2 bedroom apartment with lovely big beds, rooms and entire property immaculately clean, gorgeous Nile and local life views, beautiful pool and ever helpful staff always keen to oblige. Sayid the owner provided excellent professional service, helped take us to a local ATM (as arrived after dark) and arranged transport to Aswan.
With bargaining we managed to find a local microbus driver who took us to El Gezira/aka Model Village for 20 eygptian pounds and a local ferry across the river to area by Luxor Museum will cost 5 (or 30 to 40 for a private motorboat).
If you want you to experience the real Luxor with its beauty and grit, stay on the west bank.
Loved everything.

The property and room are extremely clean and well kept. Laundry service was very fast and much needed for us as we were in our second city and 10th day in Egypt. The area the hotel is located in is occupied by locals which we loved and the view from the balcony was incredible.
I wish we would have known they offer tours from the hotel. We would have saved quite a bit by booking with them lol.

We loved our stay at blue nile House. The rooms are huge and comfortable, the staff are wonderful and the view cannot be beat. Sayid, the owner, is an absolute jewel. He organised all transport and a guide for the sites for us, which were a fraction of the prices online and we had a great experience. The view of the sunset from the roof should not be missed. Would absolutely stay again.
Location is a little far from the centre so transport is required. Sayid helped to arrange and it was all affordable

Everything was great! The House is located at the west bank of Luxor, where it is very calm and nice. The room had a great view to the Nile and it was quite and relaxing. It was a big room/apartment with all the comforts. The personnel was very kind and helpful and they were always there to help us and give us information and tips. They can also provide you with a taxi ride from and to the airport, or to other touristic places. The taxi driver is very nice and kind and always willing to help. I would totally recommend it!

Beautiful location overlooking the Nile in a rural, quiet area, but just a short ride from all sights on the East and West Bank. Everything is new and well kept, we had a huge flat with THREE balconies from where we could admire the beautiful view at all times of the day. But what really makes the difference are the people: Sayed and his staff (or rather, his family - and you feel a bit like family too) are extremely helpful and friendly and helped us arrange food delivery to the hotel, excursions, tuk tuk to the ferry, pick up from the bus station and our onward journey to Aswan. They have a price list with all the services they offer, which avoids any nasty surprises. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Luxor.

A WONDERFUL STAY!!!
Sayed and his team were amazing! They offered genuine service and hospitality that made us felt at home.
Very new, clean and spacious apartment.
They organised our driver, took care of our West and East Banks tours. We toured the sites at our own pace, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Breakfast was served in our room, overlooking the Nile and sunrise. Absolutely beautiful!
Sayed messaged and phoned us each day to ensure that we were sound and safe, and made sure everything was in good order. Sayed even took the extra steps to shop for personal and medical items we needed during our stay.
We would highly recommend Blue Nile House to anyone who wish to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Luxor!
There was nothing that we did not like. 😀

The best hospitality, best customer service ever! Sayed is very kind & personable, we felt so welcomed & at home at every moment.
He & his team did absolutely everything they could to make our stay pleasant, help any way they could, and they did absolutely well! The place is new and very clean, spacious & looks exactly like the pictures. The views are fantastic. The food was delicious. The price of the accommodation was more than worth it. And their hospitality is second to none!! Perhaps the best hospitality we experienced in Egypt! — Just really such a lovable place & lovable lovely people. Really happy we stayed here, this place & the team are forever in our hearts.
The big bed had the kind of springy mattress that if your partner moves you feel every movement. So neither of us slept particularly well as we woke each other up just by turning around/moving to get comfy in the bed. If you’re like us likely to toss & turn in bed at night then you’re better off with twin beds! But then again we didn’t go there to sleep! Actually planned to spend as little as possible sleeping - there’s so much to see & do in Luxor we started our days very early to be ahead of the crowds….
Also the corridor is very loud and the door to the apartment doesn’t block out any of the noise. But it was quiet between 10pm - 8am so this wasn’t too big an issue.

The hotel staff was great, super kind and helpful. Prepared a packed breakfast when we were leaving super early. WiFi works great too! Shower super hot, and facilities new and functional.
A couple more plates/bowls and a pot would be useful in the apartment rooms

food of the restaurant was fresh, the view was AMAZING. if I ever come back to Luxor, i will book this again.

Amazing property! Looks exactly like the pictures! Very clean and big apartment rooms with good shower. Rooms have a nice balcony with amazing view. The common area of the property is really nice with beautiful terrace to sit and have a beautiful peaceful view of the Nile river. food was nice. Saeed was extremely welcoming and helpful. When we arrived he welcomed us and made us fresh juice. He is willing to help and organize everything you need during your stay. This place was definitely my favorite during our trip to egypt and I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much, Saeed. Hope to see you again soon!

very nice apartment/ hotel. Big room and the manager was really nice. He let us check out late free of charge and was present if needed. I loved the layout of the hotel and the pool and the rooms were super well sized and nice to be in. Balcony front and back and awesome view. Good deal too as we paid 120 for 3 nights with breakfast.
The only speaker from which the play music/prayers is located under the balcony on the patio and it creates an echo with the balconies and the walls into the appartements. They only play it around noon when fewer people are there but it can be noisy. Still loved the place and I gave a 10 but maybe locate another speaker near the kitchen for the workers to avoid the echo in the rooms.

Very beautiful guest house on the Westbank of Luxor. The host Sajed was super friendly, always tried to help us during our 3 night stay. The rooms were very spacious with a bedroom and a living room. We were even able to wash our clothes. What is particularly amazing is the view during breakfast and the pool (even though we had not enough time to test it). Thanks for the great stay and also thanks to our driver Abu Adel, who even got us fresh fruits when we arrived and food for the train when we had to go to Cairo. Also, our Tuc Tuc driver Mohammad shouldn't be forgotten :) Overall, totally recommended!

The place itself is beautiful with brilliant views of the Nile and everyday life! The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was ever to much trouble. They ensured we had the taxis when we needed and got to our locations safe. The 2 bedroom apartment was huge with 3 balconies, providing different views, and everything was very clean. Thank for a comfortable stay!!

For the price we paid, I was not expecting such luxury.
Sayed was very helpful, giving us directions from the Airport. Upon arrival we offered a very refreshing welcome drink.
The hotel is very new and has recently been redecorated. Sayed has experience in hospitality before and this was clearly shown.
We were upgraded FOC to a very big 2 bedroom suite with outstanding views across the river Nile.
The food is prepared fresh and is very tasty.
Sayed helped us immensely and was very kind.
Nothing to fault, all excellent especially at the price point.
We only stayed one night but had we have known how awesome this place is, we would have stayed a bit longer!
