Great stay for a couple of days. The hotel building is not our normal style but the gardens were beautiful. Spa area was separate to the main gardens but we did not have much time for this, you do need to book ahead. Breakfast buffet was okay with a good selection but some more healthy - low fat options would have been good. The staff did try to find us healthier options but it would have been easier if they were more readily available ie skimmed milk. What made the hotel special was the staff, all were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Whilst all were very good, Laura on the front desk and Omar in the lobby were exceptional. We would recommend the hotel to anyone who likes great service with a smile.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Botánico Hotel & The Oriental Spa Garden and had the most amazing experience. We stayed for 5 nights and the staff were absolutely amazing the entire time. When we arrived, the front desk staff were very helpful and Antonio (I believe was his name) showed us to our room. Once in the room, he explained several things about the room which was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the space we would call home for the next few days. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and professional our entire stay. We were able to call and easily get an iron, taxi etc. The attention to detail in the room was superb. We especially enjoyed the pillow menu options and turn down service. The breakfast was outstanding and a lovely way to start the day. We utilized the spa area with a couples massage and played tennis. I love fresh flowers and the fresh rose in the bathroom was a wonderful touch. We dined at The Oriental and II Pappagallo which were both delicious. The live music each night was a fun treat for a wind down at the end of the evening. Hotel Botanico is a true Luxury Hotel and I thank the entire staff for making our trip to Tenerife so wonderful.

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff . A couple of km walk downhill into town. It is a big hill back which was ok for us to walk but you may need a taxi which apparently are cheap. The spa is lovely but might need a little work doing on the spa rooms.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was a sea view, and had a lovely balcony. Rooms are slightly dated, but the beds were super comfortable. A couple if things which could be improved - the safe wasn't big enough for a laptop, the shower was very small, there was no airer for wet swimming things - minor points. We used the spa each day, which was lovely - extensive facilities and quiet. The hotel is quite a way from the main areas of Puerto de la Cruz, and up a hill. We found it ok to walk down, and took a taxi for 5€ coming back. Would definitely recommend and return

Excellent! I can’t fault Hotel Botanico for anything. Beautiful and well-maintained gardens. The spa is wonderful and included in the price. Live entertainment at night. I can’t ask for anything more. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and book at least one night in Hotel Botanico

We went as a family of 3. The room was very good, very clean and offer enough space for a toddler to be comfortable. The service is amazing and the restaurant really really good... A bit expensive but definitly worth it. The gardens are really nice too. We really had a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and it's no wonder it's considered one of the best on the island. The attention to detail was stunning, from the spacious rooms with comfy beds and balconies overlooking the pool, gardens, or Mount Teide, to their amazing jellyfish tank and collection of colourful parrots. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and while dinner offered a delicious a la carte menu with generous portions, vegans/vegetarians might find the options a bit limited after a few days. Their spa facilities were wonderful and thanks to their babysitting service we were able to enjoy a couple of hours in the spa. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist with any requests to ensure we had a relaxing stay.

Very beautiful hotel and garden. Excellent service and food. I had pain in soles of the feet but became much better with reflexology at the spa. Without asking I got a free upgrade to an ambassador suite and a bottle of very good red wine.

We only stayed 3 nights, yet had several negative issues that took away the joy. Dinner at their grill restaurant Parrilla was horrible. The starter “White Asparagus” was one single piece of asparagus from a can, cut in 4 pieces, for 16 euros. Almost funny if we didn’t have to pay for it. We also were very rudely treated by the matron of their oriental restaurant Lotus, where she talked about us in 3rd person in front of the other staff in a very negative way. We did complain to management and they took care of the tab. A nice gesture, but our stay was ruined by these negative issues. Adding to this, long waiting times, wrong dishes being served, lack of English speaking staff. Hardly a 5 star hotel. Perhaps 3 or 4. We are not coming back.

Staff excellent, pool and gardens also great. It’s a good quality hotel but needs a re-furb, magnolia walls, pictures in room faded, furniture dated, issues with shower. Bed very comfortable, large room. Little soundproofing through inter-connecting doors. Breakfast a bit disappointing - same buffet every day. Poor coffee out of the machines - no excuse for that. Didn’t eat in the restaurants due to pointless dress code.

Beautiful hotel but quite pricy. Staff is friendly and fast. The restaurants are nice with good food. Fruits and wine in the room. Big minus is that the bathroom that otherwise is nice has a toilet with a glass door that offers no privacy (open top and bottom). Not very romantic and a big minus for the otherwise beautiful room. Nice walking area with many great restaurants close to the hotel.

Yes it is a very good hotel very friendly staff clean and relaxing. The spar was exceptional. Restaurants looked amazing but didn’t eat at the hotel except for breakfast which was top food. Don’t forget trousers men, I didn’t bring any my guilt. Staff couldn’t have done enough for you. I will be staying again thank you

A wonderful quick stay! We stayed here the first night of our honeymoon due to another hotel's mistake and wow were we glad to end up here. The staff and specifically the doorman were incredibly kind even with such a last minute booking. We loved the comfortable room and sea view. Woke to the most abundant breakfast bar... There were 5 different fresh juices and everything else you could ever want! After breakfast we walked around the beautiful grounds of the hotel. And then went to the much needed spa. The facilities are endless... We were sure to go into the sauna, hot tubs, steam room, cold room and our favorite - the aromatherapy room. Last minute we booked massages and both were amazing... We left feeling relaxed and ready to take on the rest of the trip.

The staff and amenities were excellent. I really enjoyed the varying sauna rooms and spa area. Bed was very comfortable. Local bottled water and tea provided daily. A walk thru the garden after breakfast became a ritual for me.
