all was fine

The night receptionist was rude, she couldn’t find the key to my room so put me in another which wasn’t ready, I had no hand wash or shower gel. Normally I would go back down to reception and say but didn’t check in until after midnight from a long flight

The springs were coming through the mattress. They couldn’t change it as the hotel was full. They gave us a couple of extra duvets to lie on but it didn’t really help. We were told to complain to a specific email address in the morning but have not had any response in nearly 2 weeks!

No milk - so could not have morning drink, could have been a bit cleaner in bathroom, no soap, staff were nice and hotel itself was clean.
4.0
Basic accommodation, good value for money and friendly helpful staff

There was an expectation that I would pay an additional £15 as I had my dog with me. There was no indication of this throughout the booking process with hotels.com

Lovely room, friendly staff.
4.0
It's very difficult to review this hotel as it is an absolute budget hotel and to mark it as excellent overall would be wrong. However, to mark it as excellent for price paid would not be a problem.
Staff were friendly.
Room was clean with as expected fresh bedding.
Location was at a Motorway services so no problems with access/leaving or parking.
Overall a good stay, and would have no hesitation in going back.
8.0
Good over night stay all you need for a nice sleep but was a little noisy from the motorway.

It’s ok for overweight stays but being in a service station there’s limited options to go out

A nice place to stay for a couple nights

THIS HOTEL IS FAR FAR TO EXSPENSIVE FOR THE WORKING CLASS MAN COMING TO WORK AT HCP, IT WOULD MAKE A PERFECT STOP GAP, BUT £80-00 FOR 1 NIGHT IS RIDICULAOUS FOR A BOX ON THE MOTORWAY £45.00 IS WHAT ITS WORTH A CLEAN TIDY NO FRILLS HOTEL, THE STAFF WHERE VERY NICE, SHAME ABOUT PRICE Somerset is becoming Very greedy

Awful smell when entering
Rooms looked like something from the 1970s with very limited facilities
5.0
Good family room for 4 and had a fan which was very useful

Convenient, easy to find location with free parking! Room was reasonable to ground floor, quiet at night, clean and tidy. No issues with the room. Front desk staff very helpful! Would stay again

Cheap hotel at motorway services. Not luxurious but got what I expected for the price.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were only too happy to help. We did have an issue where our room wasn't turned over despite us following the process and leaving the card hanging on our door, but reception were able to sort us out.
There's not a great deal of facilities, but some basics are for sale at reception and anything else is readily available from the nearby services.
We used the hotel as a base for a short holiday and generally there was about an hours travel to get to anywhere (Bath, Cheddar Gorge for example.) On paper the hotel seems closer but due to having to travel northbound on the motorway to the next junction first this does add time. Not the hotel's fault in anyway but be mindful if booking as a base for a holiday as often distances are reported "as the crow flies" to tourist locations.

Check in was easy and the staff member was pleasant. The room was clean and in good condition. Bed was comfy, shower decent and everything worked. Nothing good on the site for dinner so a trek out is necessary or you can have a delivery. There's a microwave in reception if you want to get a ready meal from Waitrose on site.
Well in all, excellent, would stay here again definitely.

Unfortunately I paid to stay there. But never did. I tried to get a refund or a credit to spend elsewhere but gave up in the end as expedia made it pretty much impossible. I stay at Days Inn properties all over the world 🌎 so I am not disappointed with them. They offer great value for money from staying in Niagra Falls to Magor Services in South Wales.

Nice stay!

It was ok. Not wonderful, not terrible.

We were allocated an accessible room as requested. The room was fine but even with a low level bath, my wife was unable to use it. A walk in shower may be more appropriate in these rooms.
3.0
Hotel is fine but only when it can be booked cheaply in advance or there’s nothing else available. You can pay less than £50 when booked the week before but over £70 the day before for the same room.

Sfaff was so friendly and bed was comfortable

Needed an overnight M5 services “pit stop” on a long journey. This was a welcoming and friendly place to stop, lovely staff, homely reception area, some nice touches such as a book swap shelf, crockery and cutlery to use in the rooms. Would choose Sedgemoor again over other services hotels.
