Checkin was painfully slow and they did not find my order due to my "non" English sir name, even when using my passport as guiding.
1.0
The good thing is that the hotel is close to the train station and a mall with many options to eat. It's also close to downtown Aberdeen -walking distance. The staff is also friendly.
Apart from that, the hotel is quite old/outdated and clearly struggling with financials as the room's cleaning level is not that great (at least the one I was in) and breakfast options are average. It clearly needs some revamp/renovation.

Excelent stay. Great service by the Night Manager very helpful and welcoming.

Stayed here before under previous hotel chain. Location great, cleanliness great, bar pricey but good. Been to many hotels and was so disappointed with check in. Foreign guy checked us in, confirmed who I was then threw room key at me across the desk. No details about breakfast, check out, lifts etc. I was very taken aback as I didn’t expect that. Very poor check in experience, still don’t know where to go for breakfast!

Air con for heating did not work, small oil radiator too small for size of room. Tv remote batteries dead. For £90 a night it is not my job as a paying guest to run around 10 oclock at night looking for basic comforts.

Maria with house keeping was friendly and very helpful when we were assigned the wrong type of room 2 times. She personally took time and walked back downstairs to the desk to help us to get into a room. She is an excellent employee who really should get some recognition. Thank you again Maria.

Very convenient location, joined onto shopping centre with lots of options for eating out so didn’t need to go outside in the cold and rain.

The staff there are wonderfull, no problems there.... but my room was not the most comfortable. Maybe I was unlucky with the bed and air con machine. Still, I would stay there again.

I have a challenge with wall-mounted showers with low water-pressure. It takes forever to clean off the soap. You spend too much time in the shower. Poor lighting in the bathroom makes it hard to shave properly. The breakfast is nice but as all hotels today they have super-tiny glasses for juice. Management think people will drink less juice and they believe they will save money. But all it does is making everyone stand up and walk across the room four times for a refill.

Right in the middle of town next to the rail and bus station. Quiet rooms. Good breakfast. Can’t complain about anything

This hotel is so perfectly located inside a shopping center and close to the bus/train station that just for that would be always my 1st choice when in aberdeen but it' s also confortable, has a very good breakfast and a bar to wind up after a full day of work

Really enjoyed the city view from the 6th floor executive room. Friendly reception staff, lovely clean room, excellent breakfast, only negative points waited 50 minutes in the restaurant for meal to arrive and it was cold. Paid £ 36.00 for car parking.

Great location,
Hotel needing a good deep clean and the room need renovations

Not great, checkin staff were too busy, just gave us our cards and didn't even tell us where the lifts weregot to room and didnt have two single beds, had to divide a double bed, noisy street below, could do with another layer of glazing.

Lovely hotel in the City, inside the Union Square shopping centre, room was very comfortable.
Staff could be friendlier and quicker on reception, hotel needs to be clearer re where to park, which is in shopping centre multi storey and they should offer a discount for that car park, which they don’t
2.5
Booked multiple rooms and everyone managed to check in a separate times with no issues. Staff on the front desk were keen and friendly

Check in staff extremely friendly. Room perfect and great buffet selection for breakfast. Perfect location for trains and shops

Quite slow at clearing tables in the bar area. Tried to amend our booking on arrival to breakfast only on two mornings instead of three due to early departure, was offered a take away bag which we did not need due to our departure time. Refund could not be given as it was seemingly hotels.com who controlled it all. Other that we had a very pleasant stay and will certainly return.

This hotel rarely offers a room upgrade for gold members.
And never give you the 20% discount at the restaurant. I shouldn't have to ask for it.

Room was big, bed very comfortable. Needs updating, especially bathroom with no walk-in shower.Very convenient for shopping and restaurants.

Reception area lovely. Rooms basic and dates. Comfort beds not comfortable and pillows so hard but both preference I appreciate. Room 419 noisy all night with loud bands from bus station and work around. Awake since 4 this morning and so noisy and uncomfortable. Disappointed. Staff nice.

Excellent choice for city centre location. Modern and clean. Staff were excellent.

Perfect location for enjoying Aberdeen's Galleries and Museums. Being part of shopping mall and railway station a plus.

The Leonardo location is terrific, situated beside the train station & the mall. But not at all far from the historic attractions in the city. The rooms are more than adequate. The hotel has a number of nice touches for it's guests, including complimentary water, soda, cookies, chocolate bars & newspapers. They are small touches however they make you feel that your business is appreciated.
2.5
Great stay it was clean quite no issues. Nicely attached to the mall

Stayed a few nights everything was clean nicely attached to the mall nice staff. No complaints

Great location to Bus and Rail station. Ice machine on floor corridor. Shower good. Beds very comfy. 5 minutes to Union St.
3.0
Convinent location but very overpriced in terms of simple things you'd expect to be complementary e.g. water which was charged at £2.50 per bottle...

Nice and close to shopping centre. Friendly staff.

The only thing we didn’t like was that there was no on site parking. It was attached to a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants.

Great location for railway station. Room very spacious with a great view across Aberdeen. Quick check in/out.

Initially, we were allocated an accessible room which had an adjoining door to a room next door. We could hear every word spoken by the next door occupants and also, the accessibility equipment in the shower makes it very difficult to use as room in the shower is extremely limited. We had been given a similar room during a previous stay and found it very uncomfortable and noisy so barely slept. As such, I pointed out these issues and requested a change of room. I was then changed to a non-accessible room with no adjoining door, which was fine. I feel that we were given the first room - AGAIN - because we had booked via Hotels.com and so were basically given one of the worst rooms in the hotel. I believe that anyone booking via Hotels.com are treated less favourably as this is the second time this has happened to me.

Had we noticed the night before we would not have slept in the bed..the matress protector was badly stained. When i went to take the duvet cover off to make it easier for the staff it was literally in holes either moth or mouse eaten.
At breakfast i asked for sugar the member of staff said its on the table when i pointed out it was only sweetener she advised me to take some from anither table. Whilst making coffee i spilt some i reported this to staff 20 mins later it was still there health & safety was of no concern.
Last time we stayed i complained but got no response thought id give it a 2nd chance will give it one more using the 3 strikes and your out theory.

Property was attached to a great shopping/dining mall,
as well as the bus and train stations. This made for
a pleasant and safe environment.

We were very close to the train station and near interesting sights of this historic city. The neighbourhood was a little rough an a Saturday night...
