Oh goodness, where to start...black-out curtains were ripped and hung pitifully, could hardly close them, the room smelled of mildew, the toilet tank was seriously leaking which prompted the tank to fill up every 9 minutes, shower wouldn't start so had to call maintenance, high tub was difficult to access and dangerously slippery, shower vent was disgustingly dirty, towel holder was broken off and hanging poorly. Decided to try the pool but by the time one finds its way to the hotel through the badly lit construction zone and closed roads, the check-in is after 5 PM, you still need to find a parking space, grab a bite before everything closes, and by then, the pool closes at 9 PM. Thought of winding down in the whirlpool but couldn't get it to start. Tried the pool instead but as I got in, I was asked to leave as the pool was closing. No problem as I found the pool floor to be too viscous to my liking. Back in the room, the maintenance man that was repairing the leaking toilet made arrangements with the front desk to have us move to another room. It still puzzles me as to why they attributed us this runned down room in the first place when there were plenty other ones in much better condition. And we had booked an upgraded room too! Finally, I must admit I had a good night sleep. The bed and pillows were comfy and the temperature in the room was perfect. I must also give a high-five to all the personnel I dealt with that showed us much kindness and caring. Thank you!

The room is clean, the service is perfect and some attentions, like chocolate, are included with the room. But the pillows were horrible, they are all too stiff. I suggest to put different ones on the bed. Also the door does not have a good seal in the bottom, so you can hear the noise from outside. This why i did not give 5 stars

They only clean the rooms every 3 days to help with the environment but this is a clear cut in services. They also provide the worst pillows I've ever slept with and they were tiny. The rest of the room was OK and clean. The tub walls were also very high. Difficult to get in and out. Watch out if you have any mobility issues.

The hotel is in a nice location but road construction makes it difficult to access. The property has some unique features like the indoor pool but room furnishings are dated. Our room was very dark and dim but appeared clean. Front desk personnel seemed to have an attitude and not very helpful if you don't speak French.

after driving 10 hours from Ontario on vacation with my two young children, the hotel informed us that they canceled our reservation when we arrived to check in at the hotel. The receptionist was rude and offered no assistance except to write down the names of some other hotels to check into on a piece of paper.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and very well presented, however customer service was extremely disappointing. When it was my turn in line, I did not even get greeted and was immediately met with a cold shoulder. The person helping me check in at the front desk would only respond with one word answers and no smile, just very stern. My wife and I felt extremely unwelcome here. While the stay itself was great, I wouldn’t come here again because of the customer service.

I am happy with my stay at the hotel. It has very responsive and helpful staff members. The hotel is clean and maintained well, convenient for shopping at near location, great dining options. The only improvement I would suggest is to provide more parking space. Thank you.

I think this hotel has seen better days. The inner pool is absolutely amazing, but it's not well kept and is showing its age. The rooms are nice too, but could use a better cleaning. Overall, it's a good hotel, but it could be wonderful with the proper care.

Great location! Property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The aquarium is 5 mins away and old quebec city is 20 mins. Plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. We will be back!

This hotel is far from downtown Quebec City. We booked it for 4 nights and after we arrived we wanted to move to a different hotel but hotel Plaza refused to refund our money. The room was small. The bathroom was very small, pocket doors, no room to hang your towels, no room to change etc. Black mold around the bathtub. A lot of noise at night coming from the common area. Skip the breakfast there, not worth paying 21 dol per person. Very mediocre hotel.

Overall a great hotel especially for families with kids. Great pool, warm and very beautiful. Amazing breakfast buffet and food in the restaurant. The location is a bit far from the old city but easy to get to if you have a car. The only issue we had was the construction around the hotel but it wasn't the hotels fault at all. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you
