Great overnight experience - all hotel staff very efficient and focussed on delivering a quality service.

The harbour is being restored outside. Did not hinder our enjoyment

An absolute brilliant hotel. Great location. Our room had a wonderful view of the harbour. It was very spacious well furnished and very well equipped. Scrupulously clean. Appreciated the full size bath and the comfortable bed. Couldn't fault it. The restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Staff extremely friendly. Great stay.

We loved the Harbour Master. What a great restaurant, such nice people, superb room, opulent bathroom and shower. When the harbour is not under construction it will be even better !

the food at this hotel was particularly good, highly recommended. The position of the hotel is also excellent.

Lovely stay , fab breakfast , plenty of choice

The area around the hotel was blocked off due to the work on flooding barriers and so I could not park the car in front of hotel where I would usually park-the hotel car park is very very small so I could not park there and I had to park my car at the very back by the sea wall and I was worried about leaving my car there. There were no notices or information about where to park car and the one way system in relation to the main street is very confusing and no clear direction-it is good that I know Aberaeron otherwise I would have been very confused in relation to finding the hotel and where to park! The hotel was wonderful and the staff lovely and helpful!

The room was disappointing. Bright red carpet, strange purple headboard with a shelf cut into it so I couldn’t rest my head against it. No walk in shower which I would expect for the money. Room needs an update and some colour co ordination.

I have eaten in the Harbourmaster many times but never stayed. I arrived after a long drive and they made sure I could eat, the food was to die for, the room was one of the best equiped I have ever stayed in with lovely views of the harbour. This morning in a rush to leave the staff would not let me leave until I had grabbed a coffee and a breakfast bap to go. Fantastic friendly staff and a stunning location, cannot say more than that

Clean, friendly, quaint. The opposite of a bland hotel chain. Excellent food.

We loved the view, all the special touches, and the artwork.....food too! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The weather was fierce, so we didn't explore the area much... But loved the shop nearby with so many tempting items and artwork.

Not easy to find - some clearer directions may have been helpful. Received a warm and friendly welcome with complimentary tea/coffee and cake - outstanding.
Room relatively modest and only a small bed but what a view - worth the cost on its own. Nice quality bathroom and bathtub.
Breakfast service very slow - around an hour when we wanted to be away.

A first class hotel with lovely friendly staff and great food and service

Stayed overnight for work. Stunning setting with wonderful views from the bedroom. Staff very helpful and they made a delicious bespoke vegan breakfast for us (though dry out for vegan sausages for future visits). The only downside was that the rooms were incredible hot at night meaning we woke up often dehydrated. We opened the windows but that did feel rather unecofriendly. But overall a wonderful place.

It was a very comfortable stay although the room was very warm sleeping at night. (Martha Jane)
Could not fault the food. We shall return next year.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Gave us two glasses of champagne on the house when realised we’d got engaged!
Room was lovely, big comfy bed. Gorgeous Molton Brown toiletries.
Fanstaic view over small harbour town. Peaceful, chilled. Quiet getaway.
Food fantastic, breakfast beautiful (you must try HM beans!)

From the most friendly staff to the wonderful location, we could not have been happier staying and eating at Harbourmaster Hotel In Aberaeron. It’s a bit of luxury, but with a feeling of home. We felt very safe during this pandemic and celebrated my mothers 80th birthday in style. Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb!

We always stay at The Harbourmaster when visiting this lovely part of Wales. It has everything you require for a great stay.....beautiful views over the harbour from bedrooms that have been thoughtfully and creatively designed to give clients a comfortable stay. The bar is brilliant, lively, chatty and full of character and characters! They have great range of drinks with very tasty local food cooked in a modern hearty style. The restaurant echoes the bar but gives the diner a quieter and refined experience.Breakfast is brilliant. The staff are fantastic, very client focussed, knowledgeable, kind, professional, efficient yet happy to chat in Welsh or English. We keep returning because this is a hotel that cares about its customers, cares about quality and cares about being the best that Wales can provide. Diolch!
