Disappointing but overall not bad for the price

I loved that it was 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and you could literally sit on the balcony over the beach

When we got there it was so dirty. The carpets were so nasty and dirty they turned our feet black and I couldn’t let my 11 month old down because his feet and knees and hands turned black as well from only being on the floor for 10 minutes. It was truly disgusting. I tried vacuuming because you could feel the dirt and sand and the vacuum was so full it was spitting sand out. My husband opened it to dump it and the bag inside was so packed full it was overflowing and so heavy. It was gross. If they were properly cleaning those should’ve been checked and changed if not every time every few. I was just very unclean. There was no way someone went in there to clean before we got there. Not a chance! But when we called to tell them about it and about the bedroom door looking like it got kicked in and the broken dishwasher and the vacuum being so full we couldn’t clean, they were very accommodating. They got someone in there ASAP to clean the carpet really well. He showed up that night and really scrubbed and deep cleaned the carpet. It was noticeably clean after and no more black feet or dirty baby :) the next morning the maintenance man showed up to fix the bedroom door jam, the dishwasher and replace the vacuum bag for us. So we were happy about them making sure it was taken care of. After that we had no problems. I mean it is outdated but that didn’t bother me at all. All I want in a place is cleanliness. Which I don’t think is too much to ask at all. Can’t beat the price and being right over the beach!
