About this apartment rental
Unique and private loft that was once the stables of the carriage house of Frank Enger. Mr. Enger’s family manufactured carriages and shipped them around the country in the 1800s. When Frank took over, he eventually began putting motors in the carriages and ultimately founded the Enger Motor Company. This beautiful space combines old-world character with the modern amenities of today. The fully renovated space highlights exposed brick, a new kitchenette, new bathroom, and beautiful furnishings.
You'll find the kitchenette is a perfect launching point for your night and for making everyone coffee in the morning while you relax. The private patio is great and beautifully furnished with plants and plenty of seating. It will be great for having a bottle and enjoying the evenings. This space is the perfect option for travelling professionals, nurses, doctors, or simply couples or small families looking for a getaway.
We tried to strike a perfect balance between the original character of the property and designing in features to make the home really enjoyable day-to-day.
Our guests will enjoy a private loft in the carriage house stables of our historic home. The 1.8 acre, fully gated property boosts lush gardens, secluded landscape, and various sitting areas around the grounds to enjoy.
Our family lives in the main house at Marion Hall Mansion and are available for anything you might need during your stay
North Avondale has been described as a piece of heaven...right in the city. Some of the grandest homes in Cincinnati grace the winding streets of this historic neighborhood. The homes here represent a wide range of architectural styles dating back to the late 1800s.

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The property is absolutely stunning, with a perfect blend of historical charm and modern taste. The mansion grounds itself is impeccably maintained, and every room exudes elegance and comfort.
Maincredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere to relax in.
One of the highlights was the breathtaking garden and outdoor area, where we enjoyed our mornings with coffee and evenings with a glass of wine. The location is also fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions and local dining options.

This place was a gem to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We took in some amazing restaurants OTR and day trips to museums. We brought our two small dogs and couldn’t be happier with our accommodations. The bed was very comfy with very soft sheets. Matt was a wonderful host and promptly responded to any correspondence. We were thankful to find this stately and special place which was close to all we wanted to explore. This is where we would stay again if we come back to Cincinnati. Thank you Matt … such a quaint place. The manicured lawn, patio area and potted flowers are beautiful too!

Our family used all three Marion Hall properties as home base for the eclipse. It was a mini-reunion of sorts, as my sister and her husband, and son came in from CA. The beds were comfortable, the WiFi fast, and the grounds a delight. We will be back!

I arrived later than expected due to severe storms/tornadoes in the area, closing the Cincinnati airport. The unit I was to stay in actually flooded. Luckily I was able to stay next door. The owners worked very hard that day to direct me through the huge puddles to a safe dry comfortable place. I appreciated it!
The next day I drove around just enjoying the gorgeous homes in the neighborhood. Hopefully can come back another time to enjoy the garden and environs.

The studio in the carriage house was the perfect space for our weekend away. We were in town for a Xavier basketball game so the location was great because we could walk to and from the game and not have to worry about parking. They have done an excellent job rehabbing the space while keeping what is special about the historical nature of the space.

This is a safe and comfortable place to stay in Cincinnati. It was close to the Zoo and an easy trip to downtown where I went to a baseball game. Being single and senior I was looking for a place like the Carriage House. Everything inside was clean and comfortable. Matt kept great communication with me throughout my stay. If I ever get back this way I would definitely stay here. So much more comfortable than a hotel room.
