THINGS TO KNOW
The house does sit on NY 14 and can have some road noise.
The outbuildings have a "working farm charm", and might be a little messy due to the storage of articles from past generations.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 7 vehicles.

We enjoyed being able to celebrate our future bride to be in this gorgeous property. The location to all the wineries was wonderful. We really enjoyed the spacious living room, kitchen, and dining room. The living room was big enough for all of us to play cards and share memories. The bedrooms were beautiful and each was more unique than the next. We enjoyed looking at the pictures around the house and seeing some of the antiques. One of our favorite aspects of the location was the view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and admiring it all. Overall I’d highly recommend this house to a group of people looking to spend quality time together.

Fun local historic touches. Plenty of space for extended family or friends. Well maintained without losing its charm. Would definitely stay again.

Great home for a decent price. Some improvements/attention needed but overall 4/5 stars!

This home is beautiful! It's a large farmhouse with a lot of history inside and an incredible lake view from the front porch. We walked over to the winery next door for a tasting and went home with several bottles! It's about 15 minutes from the nearest towns, so it was easy enough to get groceries for our stay. Everything inside was clean and well maintained for a house that old. The furniture is comfortable, the rooms are spacious, and almost every room has its own temperature control!
Some things to be aware of:
1. There is no dishwasher, but dishwashing supplies were provided.
2. Parents of infants and young kids, be aware that there's no crib! There is, however, plenty of space in the master bedroom to set up a pack and play. Also, the high chair that they have (I think it's visible in the virtual tour) is pretty big and open-- it looks like it's designed for toddlers; it did not work for my friends' ~6 month old.
3. The farmhouse is right off of highway 14 with traffic traveling 55mph. There is noise from the traffic, especially when semis go by. It isn't noisy like being in a city, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, it might not be as quiet as you'd expect.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. It worked perfectly for our group of friends and we do plan to come back!

Deck the halls was great.

House was a good size for our party of 8. The road noise was a bit much.

This is the first time I stayed at a VRBO and the owner came to the house to check on how many people where staying in the house because of the amount of cars in the driveway. We had 10 people which this house said in accomadated. We saw him sitting in his car for a good 1/2 hour before he approached us. Then went on to tell us about the septic system and we shouldn't flush the toilets everytime someone went the bathroom. This is UNACCEPTABLE for the amount of money you pay to be "watched."

Our group of 8 enjoyed our stay. Large gathering areas. Nice view from the porch but road noise limits conversation. Great views from disc golf course. Central location to visit wineries. Don't miss Anthony Road and Tabora. All linens provided which was great. The Vacasa app and emails kept us informed and made for easy check in. We were informed house and winery are no longer connected but not an issue.

This is a charming old farmhouse with tons of character. The location was great with stunning views of the lake from the front porch. Plenty of room for everyone. Close to the road which can be noisy at times. Refrigerator could be updated.

Plenty of room for the 4 couples!!! View from the deck is absolutely fabulous. Walking distance to 2 wineries, a brewery, and a distillery.
However, this house is sitting right on the road and it's a busy one. Traffic is zipping up and down all day / night. If you are sensitive to sound, you will not enjoy yourself here.

Unfortunately, we arrived to the house and found a BUG INFESTATION in the bed, dresser, chairs, and more. We called the local number for VACASA Rental & received the run around. They said they could not relocate us & refused to give a refund. They said they would send someone out to the house. We waited three hours w/ no response or progress forcing us to find & rent a new house. Through the whole weekend we had to reach out for any update. Each time we were told someone would reach out to us. The Monday after our stay in a new location (at own cost) we reached out again & told us they had no information about a refund request. VRBO was called & we informed them of this run around one of their rental companies was giving. VRBO opened an investigation. Vacasa finally got back to us 5 days later stating they did end up sending someone out to the house after we left (but did not tell us) & decided the house is expected to have bugs due to being near a vineyard & that the guest could sleep in another room. Since we rented this house at the number of people it sleeps that is insinuating people could sleep on the floor of this bug infested house. They said they would only approve a 10% refund b/c guest could have slept on the floor but no one responded to us at the time of the stay to even provide this possible disgusting solution. We’ve requested multiple times to have a manager respond to us or call back. To add insult to injury VRBO has not responded to us yet over 1 week later.

This is a wonderful property. It has old-updated farmhouse charm with many antique pieces spread throughout the house. There's plenty of room for 6 or more. Beds are really comfortable and rooms nicely appointed. Although we didn't use the living room/media area, there was plenty of comfortable seating with books, toys, games, and a large screen TV. For us the porch was the go-to spot. A great place to hang out and relax.... and oh that view of Seneca Lake! The property is on 14, which can be busy but the owners are very up-front with that in the property description. Surprisingly, the road noise was not that disturbing during the night sleeping.
The only reason the property is not getting a 5 star review is that the stove ran out of gas while trying to cook breakfast Sunday morning (small tank out back.) Vacasa was notified but there wasn't anything they could really do on such short notice. Luckily there were 2 microwave ovens which allowed us to continue cooking.

The house was perfect - spacious, accommodating, clean. There were six of us and we totally enjoyed our time there.
The road is very heavily travelled and noisy. But, fans in the bedrooms helped with noise control.

Stayed with four couples during a snowy weekend in March and had a great time. The farmhouse was just as described in the listing. Lots of space in the kitchen, dining room and living room. Bedrooms were all nice size and very comfortable. Would definitely return for another stay.
