A cold welcome

A good-sized living room and bedroom, with a small Christmas tree to give a festive feel. Everything clean and tidy, with all the basics required. Fairly close to shops, although it's a busy road to walk down

The apartment is accessible only by a steel staircase, which might not suit people with disabilities. The abundant plastic flowers were not to our taste, but more importantly the apartment was COLD. There are only two radiators, one for the large living room (which has no door) and one in the bedroom. There is no heating in the bathroom and so no way of drying towels. It took 5 hours after our arrival for the apartment to feel tolerably warm. Perhaps the heating could be put on before guests arrive on cold nights, it would feel so much more welcoming. The shower is large and pleasant, but the water delivery system is erratic. The eco setting gave a weak, lukewarm spray and when we were tempted to try the higher setting, it alternated between very hot and very cold. Another issue was noise. The pub is noisy. The boom boom boom of the music on the Friday night permeated our bedroom and a revving motorbike well after midnight kept us awake - as it must also have irritated neighbouring residents

Lovely Apartment

The apartment was very spacious, stylishly appointed and very clean. The location was ideal for us as it's out of the way in a quiet town. We loved it so much we are staying again this weekend.

Gorgeous loft, super clean and lovely quiet sleep. Felt at home.

Everything, really nice place could not complain. Beautifully decorated inside with lovely pictures and ornaments. Felt really homely but super modern. My little boy wanted to take things home to decorate his room! The biscuits were a nice touch and there were plenty of little milk pots to make coffees. The sofa bed was already made up for my little boy to stay in so we had no making up to do.

I would suggest some soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower cubical as the property has everything else we were surprised it didn’t have these. The cast iron stairs to get in were a little scary with rain, maybe suggestion would be some rubber strips to prevent the worry of slipping.

lovely little apartment which was very clean and tidy. the apartment had everything you need to make your stay pleasant. if i ever had to go to Bath again for a few days i would definitely try and stay there again. thanks Sophie and Reme

nothing much really just the name was confusing i guess. boho loft on booking .com and hilview when we went there so was not sure if i was in the right place

Amazing

We loved our entire stay, the apartment was gorgeous, modern and clean. Knowing there was a pb downstairs was good, even though we did not use it this time we would consider it in the future. The parking and access was easy and the views were great.

Only thing I could pick out was the WIFI wasn't great as it kept cutting out while watching a film with the kids but we got over it.

Exceptional

Had a lovely overnight stay at Hillside View. The flat is located above the village pub The Lamb Inn, accessed via an outdoor metal staircase through the pub garden. The flat was warm and cozy, with modern decor and everything we could need for an overnight stay. The location was 20 minutes from Bath was perfect for our trip, and restful after the bustle of Bath.

Beautiful stay

The flat is so comforting & cozy. The bed makes it hard to get up in the morning because it’s THAT comfy! Sophie was great I would most definitely stay again in the future.
