A group of colleagues stayed here to attend a conference in the Portland area. The location was nice, convenient to the airport and neighborhoods in the city. The house was very well stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, etc. Thanks!

Clean and full of amenities. Backyard small. I think it's best suited for a group of seven people. Overall, it was great.

There were four of us staying in town for a conference at the convention center. It was almost a straight shot down MLK to the convention center, which was very convenient. There were also several great restaurants and food trucks nearby. The house was clean and comfortable. We each had our own room and shared two bathrooms. MANY amenities were provided - shampoo, conditioner, lotion, sunscreen, games, toys, extra blankets, pillows, and towels, etc... Gary was a great host. He explained the hot tub, and that was wonderful - well-kept and very clean. We are planning on staying there again for next year's conference.

Extended family stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday, as my daughter lives just half a mile from here. House was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Gary was helpful and unobtrusive despite living on site. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful visit to this house while on a work trip. Take advantage of the earplugs if the neighbors are hosting a friendly party in their back yard, though.

We visited Portland for a wedding weekend. Our family was very comfortable with comfy beds, plenty of towels and a nice large kitchen and living space. Easy access to everything! Thanks Gary for being a easy to reach & work with host!

My friends and I had a nice short three night stay in portland. The property was clean and accommodating for our large group.
My only complaint is that I messaged the host before coming to confirm that the house was stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner. He messaged back confirming. When we showed up there was no shampoo in any of the bathrooms. All the bottles were completely empty. I had to dig around under the sink and luckily found two tiny Travel shampoos. I was annoyed because I asked ahead of time and hear confirmation, I expect these things to be checked. Makes me wonder what else wasn’t throughly checked.

House is very clean and organized , it has everythimg you need when u get back from an adventurous day .

Spacious and well equipped to handle our group. The area was great, close to essentials and walkable to pubs, restaurants and shops. There was a closet full of games and movies as well which we enjoyed on a night in. We were surprised to find that out the owner lives in the basement of the house but we actually never saw him and it didn’t impact our stay. I had just assumed the “completely separate unit” was more separate.

We were so happy with our stay at the King property. Our kids and grandchildren were able to join together comfortably in this home. There was plenty of room for visits, playing cards and preparing for my nieces wedding. The hot tub was enjoyed and the outside patio was perfect for an evening BBQ. Gary was very helpful in recommending restaurant ideas. We all walked on our first day to the Piedmont Food Court. It was perfect for our group and a nice walk through the neighborhood. The location was great and close to the wedding venue. Check in and check out was very smooth. Thank you Gary for sharing your home with us.

We rented this house so our bridal party would have a place to stay during the wedding weekend. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it fit our needs and the weekend went great!

Check in process was very smooth. Gary was very accommodating and clearly communicated everything we needed to know in advance. The house was very clean when we arrived. The house is located in a great neighborhood, with may good establishments within walking distance. We had a nice evening stroll over to Breakside Brewing, which was lovely. The kitchen has everything you would need as well. Perhaps the most well stocked kitchen of any vacation home I have ever stayed in. Thanks Gary!

My husband & I booked this house so we could stay with our 4 adult kids and their families while being in Portland for a wedding. It was the perfect size for us. Gary was so flexible about letting us check in early. The house is a block away from Starbucks, Safeway and Walgreens. It could not have been more convenient. The bed upstairs was so comfy. I could stayed in bed all day! I’m just sad we were only in town for the weekend. It would have been nice if we could have just spent out time there, cooking and playing games. We will definitely try to stay here again if we come to Portland again.

A group of us drove in and stayed here for a few days in May. The house itself is lovely, and Gary was very helpful and courteous. Definitely would stay here again if we were in the area.

We can't express how much we enjoyed our stay in the Portland area. The Piedmont Guesthouse was all we could have hoped for in convenience and charm. We were impressed by all the thoughtful details provided for our stay: luscious towels, comfortable sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen. The location of the Guesthouse was convenient for our needs and our host, Gary, was able to recommend numerous local establishments for dining /attractions. We can't wait to return to Portland and stay at the Piedmont Guesthouse.

We had a family gathering and bridal shower at this wonderful home.It was so well stocked from towels to place setting dishes etc.Gary brought out extra chairs, folding tables, linens. We were able to entertain 25+ for our shower with plenty of room.Gary walked us through the house and explained how everything works. He goes out of his way to accommodate anything we needed. This house was perfect for our stay! Thank you!

We recently stayed two nights to celebrate my moms 50th birthday. The house was perfect and Gary was so willing to help and be accommodating, although we didn't need much because everything was perfect! The house was just what we were looking for and was so much better for our large group (9 ppl) than a hotel would have been. Thank you Gary for sharing, we will definitely stay again if a trip to portland comes up again.

10 of us stayed in this charming house to attend my son's Portland wedding. the house was just as shown in the photos. This is the best equipped house I have ever rented, in 40 years. Also it worked great for our European guests. They found starbucks in no time, and walked the neighborhood every day. We had a small 'brides brunch' on Friday and had more than enough dishes/wine glasses etc. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends and family. the owner, gary, is very accommodating as well.

We stayed here with multiple family members at the time of my daughter's wedding. Very clean, very comfortable home. Very accommodating owner. Would stay here again.

We rented the house to attend a family wedding in the area.
First off - Gary the owner is a gentleman and is easy going but very attentive. He would text me everyday to make sure our stay was comfortable. We enjoyed meeting Gary.
While there were 10 of us who stayed in the house, Gary was gracious to allow us to host dinners there with a larger group of family and friends (~25). He also had enough plates and wine glasses for the entire party.
The place is an older bungalow with modern accessories with a really homey feel. The location was perfect for us - being minutes from I-5 and a block to the Safeway and less than a block to the Starbucks.
Would highly recommend this house. Thank you Gary!

Our daughter was getting married and our family (9 - 4 year old to Grandmother and Grandfather) needed a place with lots of space so we could prepare for it. We could not have asked for anywhere more appropriate and fun. It was close to everything we needed - flowers, decorations- food- restaurants - transportation. We even made all the bouquets there with plenty of space to do it. The owner made us feel like we were at home. All the necessities were more then taken care of for us. Thank you for letting us stay there

We had a wonderful time at this property. There are 4 bedrooms which accomodated us nicely, and the house never felt crowded. Gary was a wonderful host and waiting for us on our late arrival of 10:30pm. I would recommend this property to a group who wants to stay together rather than getting hotel rooms.

I came to Portland for a family wedding, so this house had three generations under one roof, from age 68 to age 4. The house was big enough for all of us, it was comfortable, and Gary's description of the property was accurate.
Peninsula Rose Park is close by, where my granddaughter spent hours having fun, and the wedding happened there as well. There is shopping within a block, and our cousins live between Gary’s house and the park, so it was a great location for us.
Gary was helpful and easy going. He did the walk-through the night before we left, since we had a very early morning flight, and returned my damage deposit on the spot.
A great house, very clean, great location for us, and Gray was helpful. If we have as many people staying with us on our next visit to Portland, we will rent this house again.
