Good hotel in an excellent location. Clean but the rooms needs a makeover to brighten up the space. Too much brown. The bed was ok but not great. Kind staff. Large room.

Very good choice and very tasty

The staff were all great, friendly and helpful. Loved having easy access to both Darkey Kelly's and the Copper Alley Bistro, quality food and service at both locations. The room was spacious and a great place to spend 4 days as a base to explore Dublin.
4.5
Location & staff excellent
Some noise from above with tourists packing any booking out. Like moving furniture on timber floors.

I really loved it. It was a beautiful, high-end hotel located in the heart of Dublin close to everything, and the staff was so helpful
I don't know what to say... the morning I checked out, the water to the whole building was out. No one could do anything, no showers, couldn't brush teeth, couldn't wash hands or face, couldn't use the toilet. These things happen but can be prevented with regular maintenance checks.

great location right next to a traditional pub. loved the homeliness of it.
our room was located at the front of the hotel where you could hear the revellers leaving the pub and the church bell from across the road every half hour throughout the night.

The location was excellent. Darkey Kelly's bar downstairs was super convenient and a fantastic atmosphere for our first pub in Ireland. It was at the end of the Temple Bar area and the absolute perfect location for walking and seeing all the sites.
The staff were all excellent and super accommodating.
Bed was a little uncomfortable but I didn't mind it too much.

They were kind and very helpful. Even took time to show me the right way to go to the venue I was going. They offered to keep my bags in case I wanted to go walkabout in Dublin. I could go and ask for ice at the bar. I had a lovely view of the Church. I came back very late and there was no problem I got in straight away. Nice and big bathroom in the single room I stayed.
No room service but they suggested I could bring the food in the room.

Location you can't really get more central. Staff was 24 hours so I could check in really early in the morning which was great. There was a bug in the bathroom which was a bit disappointing.
Bug in the bathroom, bed not very comfertable.

Dinner exceeded our expectations, delicious food, well presented. Service was excellent, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough. It made our stay stand out from the run of the mill (more expensive) chain experience. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location, I walked from Heuston which only took 15 mins, direct alongside the Liffey and take a right when you see fishamble street. It's only a few mins walk from the olympia and the button factory. Staff were very helpful and the room was much bigger than I thought it would be for me a solo traveller. Fridge was a nice surprise. Great value for money considering the location and room quality. Will book again if possible.

Great hotel in Irish style in the central location. Staff is polite and helpful.
You can hear Christ Church Cathedral bells and seagulls depending on your room. I asked for a quiet room during booking and hotel kindly provided me a room pointing to internal ward that was silent at night.

The hotel is well located and very clean. staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was cold and it wasn’t clear how to adjust it. the slight step up to the bathroom had a sign to “mind the step” but we still tripped on it when the door was open and the sign not visible.

The staff were delightful. Reception staff and bar staff made the hotel like an oasis and made us feel safe amongst the wild streets of Temple Bar Saturday night (while there was an influx of Garth Brooks concert goers).
We arrived to Dublin really late due to a cancelled and then delayed flight and then bus issues from the airport. The bar staff were super lovely in making sure we got a Guinness! and allowed us to stay later in the residents’ bar while they packed up - super nice guys.
Room was flash looking.
location of off to the side of Temple Bar was good - on a Main Street for cars but not so many bars etc. right on that street. then other side is a big street to walk right down and through the area. You do have to walk through Temple Bar if having caught a bus from airport into the city for example - so if doing so late Saturday night (like we did) - be careful
The exhaust fan in the bathroom was really loud and didn’t turn off when you turn the light off - so that was a lot.
I get it - it’s Dublin - but it did seem overpriced - perhaps it was also due to the Garth Brooks concert in town, maybe the price was up.
We arrived to Dublin and Temple Bar late on a Saturday night and was quite shocked at the scary behaviour of a lot of people out and about in the area. We wanted to be in Temple Bar for the nightlife - but just a heads up to anyone coming to the area for the first time, especially if arriving late or just in weekend perhaps - be careful around the area. The hotel staff were, as I said, really lovely and made us feel safe in the hotel.
