Comfortable and centrally located

Comfortable room with a great view toward Magnetic Island - perfect for enjoying sunrise. The hotel is centrally located and perfect location for the Sunday markets.

There is no place to sit and wait for a taxi when the road is closed for the markets. I waited in the lobby for about 15 minutes before staff told me I had to wait behind the hotel on the street.

Not relaxing. Our stay was hard work for us.

location was handy to the city centre. staff were efficient and friendly.

car parking was not easy. some facilities were not available but we were not advised. our room had some hidden remnants from previous occupants.

Ordered room service only to wait over an hour, then called reception and they had forgotten to place the order so we cancelled all together after that. Upon checkout we normally utilise the $100 bond from checkin to pay for our room account, this time advised we couldn’t do it because “They had too many people to check out that morning” even though we had always been able to do this in the past.

Cairns couple travelling through

We have stayed here many times, and are never disappointed. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are great. We always eat at the Restaurant, and have never had a disappointing meal.

A disappointing experience & end to what should have been a pleasant relaxing stay

No communication during fire evacuation re re entry time & cause of alarm. Poorly stocked mini bar / no stock. Excessive street noise even from 5th floor. No sleep, no apologies from staff or management & no discount or refund offered after a poorly handled fire episode. I'm certain I am not the only unhappy customer

Everything was extremely well presented and location is great for working in the business heart of Townsville.

Dont think it was great value for money and the check in is really late.

Obviously it has design limitations due to age of building.so things are a bit dated The breakfast was a bit ordinary for the price and I was told three times they were closing at 10am when I got there at 9am

It was overpriced, the room was 2 star. I paid 19 for breakfast when it's 15. The coffee is Luke warm at breakfast and i almost choked on bacon, rock hard and dry. Last time they see me. I'm genius 3 level, was of no benefit.
