No room cleaning ever during a 3 night stay.

Very nice place. The front desk team were wonderful, and helpful. Our room was nice and all the public spaces were clean. The on-site restaurants were great. There is a lot of dining options around this hotel and is quite walkable.

Front desk service was lovely on check in… I text came in shortly after arrival from a staff member offering any services that may not be in the room or any request we may have, thought that wa. Very modern hotel with a great location, would stay there again in a minute.

Amazing hotel. Loved the rooftop bar/restaurant. Clean and friendly, fast check in and check out

the room was beautiful and so was the bathroom. the hotel itself is very nice. The AC was obnoxiously loud through the night and there were constant noises through out the night. the towel and robes felt very rough and were a bit uncomfortable to dry off with. we got woken up rather early to sounds of what we think was construction or renovations above us. very obnoxious drilling and hammering for hours. for what seemed like a 4-5 star hotel it really was more of a 3 star.

It was an amazing experience, very modernized, and very clean, rooftop lounge was rocking. The staff was amazing! This will definitely be the hotel I stay at from now on when I go to Detroit. Fixins is right around the corner and is a must-try.

Luxe, laid back not stuffy in the heart of the city. Valet was an ease and loved the in and out privileges.

Security broke into our room at 3am with opening our door repeatedly and flashlights shining and trying to unlatch the security latch, they had a human error made me verify my reservation because they didn’t have me in their system. They stole my peace of mind, gave me an panic attack/anxiety attack and made me feel entirely unsafe, they violated my safety and security.

The service and cleanliness of the hotel was great. The bed was a little too firm for my liking. I would still stay here again.

New hotel in Corktown. All appointments were new and in good working condition. The king bed room was spacious enough for 2 people to move about. The lobby had an area where you could gather and socialize with friends while enjoying refreshments that we brought from home. The restaurant on the 7th floor was fancy and offered a view of the Detroit sky line at night. There is a restaurant and bar at the street level also. We did not eat in any of these venues . Valet parking is nice but $36/ night for lodgers.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Front desk responded fairly quickly to a request. The walls are very thin. Couple next door argued till 1:30 in the morning you could hear every word & the dog was upset & barking also!

We had a fantastic stay at Godfrey Detroit. Staff was available at all times and attentive. Bed was comfortable, nice size shower, awesome blackout curtains and great views of the city from the huge window in our room. Only downside was the upstairs restaurant (which is super cool) had very loud music with heavy bass which we could hear in our room at night. Thankfully it was muffled and we were tired but if you’re looking for quiet, I’d request a lower floor or a room not below the restaurant.

Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in a hotel.

This hotel was a great choice and would definitely choose again. The staff was very courteous and the hotel was clean.
There are dining options in the area, you just have to walk or pay to park.

The area was ok not great. Better to stay near downtown. Hotel maidservice did not clean the room one night, no restock towels or TP during the stay, we had to call the front office late to get towels.

I would've given all 5 stars, except they placed me in a hearing disabled room rather than a wheelchair access room. The 1st room had no handicap bars & seat in the shower (to clean up after hrs. of car travel to prep for my night out). However, my room was changed/corrected on day 2, & as a courtesy, there was no charge for day 1. On day 2 & 3, everything was 5 star.

Nice little spot close enough but a little still off the beaten path of traffic. Nice place to stay!

Super quaint, newer hotel, clean, in the heart of Corktown Detroit. Trendy little rooftop lounge. Stayed here for a lions game & was very happy with everything. Price was decent compared to other hotels in the area. Room size was small, but modern & clean. Comfy beds & pillows

It was close to a lot. Came for a concert at LC Arena. Property was clean, safe. The staff was accommodating. Room waa clean & comfortable.
We were too late to check out everything there is offered but it was pleasant.

Hotel and staff were excellent. Bartenders were nice, but lacked some basic knowledge on simple mixed drinks and there were no convenience/drug stores nearby nor small market place in the hotel.

Well located for sightseeing in and around the downtown. The front desk is understaffed, leading to long waits. The air conditioning was not working in my bedroom. When I first went to my room, it was unlocked with the deadbolt open, keeping the door open.

We stayed at The Godfrey last week and had a couple of small issues. This time was a much better experience overall.
We asked to stay in an even numbered room this time as the odd numbered room last time had noticeable noise outdoors.
The even numbered room was quieter and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the blinds are fantastic for keeping the morning sun out.
We had breakfast this time at the restaurant. It was decent, but there are other places nearby that are worth checking out.
The liqour selection at the hotel bar and restaurant are quite nice. They have many hard to find liquors.
Overall, our second trip to The Godfrey was quite good, and we will be back.

I Love the Godfrey wherever I go. This specific location was in an okay area. I didn’t feel safe enough to walk alone. Roof top menu had very little options versus what I’m used to. We were told we could not enter without a reservation as if there was no bar. We were looked at very poorly until my fiancé and I had put on clothes. We had on travel clothes. So great hotel, not the best location or rooftop staff at times. Our server was great though. It was the lady at the door - the hostess.

The hotel is nice and clean close to downtown, staff members so helpful and nice except one house keeper was so rude , first day we arrived the beddings were dirty, the bathrobes had blood stains on, we called for service and the housekeeper didn’t like it when I told her to change both beds and everything on it , she just wanted to replace the pillowcase and comforter that was visibly dirty but I told her I was uncomfortable, rather than that every thing else was good met my expectations. Checking in and out was fast . I recommend this place

I had high hopes for our stay since we had recently stayed at a fantastic Tapestry Collection Hilton near Indianapolis. Sadly, it did not live up to the Fishers Hilton.
The check-in process went smoothly. Our room was nice overall (comfortable bed and clean). We were in an odd numbered room and the noise level outside at night was very noticeable. We could also hear the television in the next room over. The blinds were good at blocking out daylight.
One thing I did not expect was that the shower head fell off mid-shower. We shared this at check out and the front desk person said they would get maintenance to fix it.
We had already booked this hotel again for this week during a concert, so I hope we get an even numbered room this time to see if they are better.

Had issues with check in which I already left a review on the “how was check in” email I received. We got to our room an air compressor was laid across the floor as well as cabinets from the dresser then as we were walking out a worker from the hotel was walking in to start working on the room. Clearly room was not ready for us?? We went back down to get a different room and then got to our new room and there was random issues with our new room the cold and hot switch to the shower in the bathroom was put on backwards and nearly falling off the bathroom shower wall so this was a challenge to turn the shower on and off. At night my boyfriend and I were in the lobby waiting for Uber eats, my boyfriend went out to grab the Uber eats and I was harassed by another guest in the lobby who asked me if I’d “have sex with him for money.” All night while trying to sleep it seemed as if the room above or next to us had there hotel room ringing all night, like a constant dial tone that would not stop. Causing a severe disturbance in the amount of sleep we were able to get. Disappointed
