Tolles Quartier in perfekter Lage, sehr zu empfehlen

Sehr bequemes Bett, Dusche mit gutem Wasserdruck. Sehr gute und schöne Einrichtung, tolles Design mit viel Liebe zum Detail. 😍 Super zentral gelegen, sehr gute Schalldämmung (am Balkon ist es sehr laut, bei geschlossenem Fenster quasi nichts mehr zu hören) 2 schöne Terrassen am Dach mit Meerblick

Wir hatten 3 verschiedene Zimmer, die alle denselben Preis hatten, sich hinsichtlich Größe und Komfort aber erheblich unterschieden (im kleinen Zimmer war die Belüftung auch nicht gut und wir rochen das Parfum unseres Vorgängers) Es ist daher zu empfehlen, die Zimmerbeschreibung bei der Buchung sehr genau zu lesen (die Fotos sind teils irreführend!)

It was OK. I will look at other spots next time but would be good for younger travelers.

It is a fun space with great character and an awesome roof.

Here are the facts… the road noise at this location makes it difficult to sleep anytime before 2a if you are a lite sleeper. The staff are not warm. You check in, you check out that’s it. Luggage storage is $250MX only between 12p and 6p. Not before or after. My toilet broke during my stay and the staff did not fix it until I checked out.

Two night stay with attentive staff and walking access to downtown PV.

Attentive staff; Rooftop options were great for sunset and daybreak views; air conditioning; location close enough to Malecon and beach

Suite one has only one window; no access to fresh 5 gallon drinking water jugs which have been standard in all other places stayed in PV.

Good value with Mexican flavor near Malecón and Centro shops.

There was no breakfast that we were aware of. There were two coffee pots but no coffee. Room was colorful clean and comfortable and only two blocks from Cafe Des Artistes where we had dinner reservations.

Knew owners would be absent Sunday but expected to meet them Monday but never did. Had to wait for gallery to open to check bags and get day started.

Great location, fantastic style, good amenities and comfortable bed.

The property was fantastic. Mexican furnishings, bright colours, and all the amenities you could possibly need. The location was also fantastic. Bed super comfortable.

Loved it all ! The kitchenette could do with a tea towel or cloth to dry dishes…if I had to find something

Great location to amazing food and activities, great for couples.

The property was a great location, beds were very comfortable. The two patios were get to hang out on and provided shade when it was hot. We would definitely recommend and stay again. I would recommend booking early so you have the choice of a room with a balcony.

Our room was below the water tank so was very noisy and would go throughout the night so was hard to sleep to start with. There is nowhere to put your clothes as the rooms are very small.

Wonderful & colorful. Great to feel immersed in Mexican culture while there through decor & aestheti

The decor was so fun. The rooftop patio was a great space. Amazing location & easy check in/out process. Great streaming services when we were unwinding & having a siesta. The bed was comfy. The room had everything we needed.

There is obviously no space for a pool on property but we missed the opportunity to swim & lounge at a pool. We weren't sure if the kitchen in the photos were in the suite or common space. Nice to have a kitchen but the fridge was too small to really cook & grocery shop sharing the space.

Fellow travelers considering a stay at Casa Colibrí Malecón, should read negative reviews about mgr.

There was a comfortable mattress in the room and the air conditioning was adequate.

We did not like arriving for a week stay to find only a half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We also did not like the strong smell of bug spray in our room and the hallway.

Enjoyed our visit.

Location in the Centro area is convenient. Good restaurants within 4-5 blocks. Roof top area was nice. Comfortable bed.

Other guest and street noise is a factor. Room fixtures needed some repairs. Could not get the TV to work.

Disappointing - too small to unpack

Close to the Malecon, comfy bed, safebox, well equipped kitchen, roof top terrace and quick response to messages. If you like rules - there are many! They were displayed on 3 of the 4 walls

Photos on the room description show a number of different rooms - you don't know which you will get. The room we were allocated was unsuitable for a 4 night stay. The bed took up almost all the room, with just a metre of space around each side (see photos) There was no wardrobe or hangers, so we could not unpack. It was too narrow to open the case, so we had to lift it onto the bed each time we needed something. The room was right by the kitchen and the metal stairs to the roof. We were not bothered by the noise outside, but did need ear plugs to stop us being woken up by the other guests. I would recommend asking the owner to clarify which room you have been allocated at the time of booking, as some rooms are slightly larger. There is only one free house keeping per stay, which has to be arranged 24h in advance. We arranged this for day 2 but this did not happen. This was an issue as we were only given one small shower gel and one toilet roll. When we complained, they came the following day. Be aware there are additional charges for extra house keeping and to store your luggage.

I love the location and procximity to everything.

Although I really like the location the downside is the old pipes and smells. Also, highly recommend a gate door with a string / stopper to prevent door slamming and loud noise.

Toller bunter Strandurlaub mittendrin in Puerto Vallarta

Das Appartement ist schön bunt und liebevoll gestaltet, gute Klimaanlage, tolle Dachterasse & netter, unkomplizierter Kontakt zum Host. Der Check in & out verliefen reibungslos! Der Strand ist in 5min fußläufig zu erreichen, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten rund herum und wirklich wirklich super tolle vegane & vegetarische Restaurants!

Die Straße ist recht laut, weil es wohl dazu gehört, mit sehr lauter Musik im Auto zu fahren. Wenn die Fenster und Türen zu sind, lässt es sich aber gut leben!

Location, Cleanliness and the promp response without being intrusive, very timely communication.

The Mattress was unbalanced, it needs to be rotated, I sleept the other way around, biut other than that it was excellent.

Affordable cosy place to stay

Really comfy bed and nicely decorated room. Friendly staff who returned an item to me when I left it behind. Easily walkable to nearby restaurants/bars/beaches.

No free drinking water in the room, a bit noisy from the street, but overall fine. Would stay again for he price!

On a busy and very noisy cobblestone road. While this slows traffic and vehicle speeds making them safer to pedestrians, it is LOUD 24 hours a day and it is not possible to sleep without noise cancelling headphones.

Colorful

It was a pleasant surprise, a nice, central place with plenty of space . My experience was very good, the hosts were very attentive in constant communication and did not delay the check-in at all. The place is very beautiful I even visit its terrace. They suggested places to eat, buses are all conveniently walking distance.I really recommend it, it is a great price, location and place

I can only mention the external noise but it is not something they control. Also some flexibility or options for visitors

Adorable and close to the beach.

Andrea (Property Manager) was so nice and helpful. The place is as advertised and close to the boardwalk.

There’s isn’t a pool but close enough to the beach.

WiFi was so awful we couldn't use it or watch tv as it was only streaming service. Literally could not use. No drinking water available upon arrival. no hot water. Noise.

Lovely place to stay being away from home.

excellent location, one can reach all point of interests by few minutes walk.

Colibri has everything for that concept of the guest house. Convenient central location, clean, comfortable, helpful and friendly staff and price is excellent.

Disrespectful

I arrived at night for my one day stay and locked myself out of the room after being there for 20 mins. I informed the manager and was told there would be a 200 peso fee to let me back into the room. When she arrived I informed her that I would not be paying the fee and that it was not listed anywhere. I offered to get my things and leave as long as I was reassured a refund. Her co-worker then arrives at the property and states "you have two minutes...or less" to clear the room...as if I'm some child. Upon exiting the property I was verbally abused because I wouldn't pay a fee to get let back into my room. Imagine a hotel charging you $10 to let you back into your room. The whole conversation was caught on the phone with the Booking.com agent and I am receiving a full refund. I have no review of the property because I was there for such little time. They'll continue to squeeze 200 pesos out of people and have rave reviews but have zero customer service skills or business savvy.
