The Hame had plenty of space for our group of six and almost all the facilities we requured for an enjoyable break. The location is fabulous and we had no problem with parking outside during permitted times. Check-in and communication was all great. The rooms are large and beds comfy. Its an old listed building, so there's plenty of character. The old wooden doors are to die for!
Be aware that there are no downstairs toilets. Anyone sleeping downstairs will need to walk upstairs and past all the other bedrooms to use a loo.
Cleaning could have had a little more attention to detail. Black patched sealant in the bathrooms is quite off-putting and there were old crumbs under the toaster when I moved it. A few smaller glasses would be useful and a pizza cutter.
Dont expect luxury but overall an enjoyable stay in a lovely town.

The listing of the property was accurate and it was a very nice and comfortable base for our long weekend. Check-in was easy, facilities were good and the hosts were very friendly and got back to us quickly when we had a query
