It was an excellent experience, and I would recommend anyone to stay there who is visiting the campus.

I loved the overall look and the restaurant at the hotel.

I have no complaints and will be back to visit.

Home away from home, only better!

The location was perfect for our visit to the University of Chicago. We walked out the door and onto the campus. Breakfast was delicious. Generous portions and very tasty. I was just dreaming of the yogurt parfait. The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating.

Lovely Peaceful Hotel, 2blocks from UChicago Med Center.

It was really beautiful, modern, clean lines and great colors and peaceful. So many details. Location is 2blocks from UChicago Hospital.

Loved everything except the adjacent restaurant/pub: beautiful decor like hotel but our food was odd and expensive. I’d try it again because of location and ambience but would not order the pot pie or shepherds pie. Neither were recognizable as named and both over salted. That and 2 beers was a $50 tab.

Stayed the night for my husband's company party at MSI. Couldn't have been more perfect.

Everything about this place hits right. The swanky, nerdy, studious vibe, the great views, the spotless rooms and gym, the friendly yet very professional staff... It's no wonder all the visiting scholars we host there absolutely rave about it! I'm so glad I got to try it for myself!

Todo o pessoal, especialmente Kila e Tiffany, EXTREMAMENTE atenciosos, prontos para ajudar e muito eficientes. Os quartos são limpíssimos, muito silenciosos e as camas confortáveis. Meu filho virá estudar na Universidade de Chicago e pretendo voltar várias vezes. Muito obrigada pela acolhida!

I love my morning cup of tea and my bedtime coffee, so it would have been nicer to have a kettle in the room!

Mixed feelings: great location but first impression was worsened by rude receptionist

Location, female reception and valet staff

male reception staff. We were told our room was not ready at 5pm and he could not give us any estimate when it would be ready. No fridge in the room, no ice, no basic amenities

Have stayed at Study multiple times. Generally good - this stay was a bit off but still recommend.

Excellent location IF you need to be on or near University of Chicago. Otherwise it’s pretty tucked away. Facilities are nice - modern and clean.

A lot of confusion during check in about our reservation. Key card didn’t work multiple times. We didn’t get the room we had requested. Also we specifically asked for our room to be cleaned and we got no housekeeping for the two nights we were there (stayed an extra night with a separate reservation).

If I hadn’t found the hair and crumb, the stay would’ve been perfect.

Good location, friendly staff, nice property

The towels and sheets were white and pristine but I found hair on several new towels and rice Krispy crumb on the bedsheet when I open up the bed? It makes you wonder.

I would recommend this hotel for those that do not want to be in the heart of the city.

I liked the location and the bed was very comfortable. Easy access to free parking. Very quiet and great atmosphere. Being able to teach my son how to address a letter and postcard was a nice little perk. The hotel staff was very friendly.

No refrigerator in room. Found some hair in shower.

Would definitely be happy to stay there anytime!

So clean! It was almost hard to believe anyone else had ever stayed there before. I am very picky… and I loved it! Peaceful location with beautiful view.

My husband didn’t want to eat at the attached restaurant or Bardavid. No other options nearby, so we walked to Leon’s BBQ at least a mile away. No vending machines, but we knew that and brought a cooler.

No mini fridge in the room. Not the end of the world, but it’s nice to have a a few cold drinks on hand when staying for a few days
