Poco espacio pero bien ubicado

Esta muy bien ubicado cerca del río y del mercado matutino

La estructura de la litera se mueve y hace ruido cuando alguien de arriba o abajo se mueve. Al no ser una estructura totalmente cerrada, la cortina quita algo de luz pero entra luz por otras partes. La habitación era pequeña para 8 personas.

Not a good place. Lack of comfort in every way you look at it.

Location is great. That's it.

They say they have laundry, they don't (they offer washing at another location but no drying. Not helpful). I got a private room. The bed was something out of a joke. Smaller than me (I am 1.75/5'9) and with a weird shape, not rectangular. Mattress was cut to fit it. I put the mattress on the floor but I would wake up during the night confused by the mattress shape, probably thinking I was falling or something. My feet were on the floor. Toilets are equipped with a sensor that will leave you in the dark every 15s, even when showering. When showering you have to open the shower door and wave for the lights to come back. Such an easy fix, shows disregard for details by the owners. Old house that every noise travels easily (minor issue if it wasn't for some noisy people staying there). Not much the hostel's fault but still worth mentioning. Hard to sleep late in the morning.

well located very close to interesting spots to visit and wihin walking distance from the train station. comfortable beds, nice shower rooms, spacious kitchen, good facilities overall. very nice staff. also, lovely to stay on an historical building.

im being picky here: we were travelling by bicycles and had to pay an extra 500jpy to store them.

格安でも快適

若い白人男性が受付でしたが、日本語が流暢なだけでなくフレンドリーで笑顔いっぱい！それだけで滞在が楽しくなりました。ドミトリーで外国人ツーリスト数名と同室でしたが、皆さん夜は静かで快眠できました。

共有スペースが、他の利用者さんたちともっと交流しやすい雰囲気だといいですね。

Very solid hostel in a great location

Great location, close to the city center and to the station. The staff was very friendly, the building was beautiful and things were clean. Great shared kitchen and space.

Not much space for the luggage in the dorm room. Laundry has to be done in their main branch, 5 min away by foot, but it wasn't much of an issue.

Good clean and comfortable hostel.

Good location, clean and comfortable beds and mattresses (A rarity in Japan) I liked the building and special mention must go to Daniel. He was a helpful and knowledgeable host. Recommended.

The place is new and renovation is still taking place. But it’s going to be an even better place to stay when it’s all finished.

Bellissimo ostello stile giapponese con stanze private e dormitori. Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza privata con letto a castello ed era comodissimo il futon. Tanti bagni e docce sempre puliti e con possibilità di igenizzare il wc con le salviette apposite e all’entrata del bagno c’erano le ciabattine apposite dato che le scarpe andavano lasciate di sotto. Mettono anche a disposizione le ciabatte per fare la doccia, oltre a shampoo, balsamo e bagnoschiuma. Bella cucina attrezzata con snack gratuiti e frigo ampio con etichette per segnare il proprio cibo. Staff super cordiale che parla inglese molto bene. Posizione ottima a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e 1 minuto a piedi dal centro, dal mercato storico e da vari bar e ristoranti. All’arrivo ci hanno anche fornito una cartina in italiano con i luoghi di interesse e i sentieri da fare a Takayama.

Consigliatissimo

La struttura è molto vecchia ma tenuta benissimo. Le camere sono molto carine e gli spazi comuni molto puliti. Lo staff è super cordiale e disponibile! Posizione ottima per raggiungere il centro Rapporto qualità-prezzo TOP! Super consigliato!

Excelente ubicación

Habitación muy amplia con futones cómodos. Excelente ubicación, dejan quedarse con bebes. Lo mejor fue la atención Rino, muy simpática, nos resolvió todas las dudas y fue una gran anfitriona. Fueron muy amables al ofrecernos desayuno por el festival de primavera

El hecho de tener los baños compartidos siempre es algo más incómodo. Algo caro por el festival.

Great location, value for money.

We were staying in the quadruple room in 5. It was very comfortable and with fantastic view of the river. The shared facilities were also up to our expectations. The staff are friendly.

Le personnel était très accueillant et discutait avec nous, les chambres étaient propres et les lits avaient des bonnes couvertes chaudes! Les salles de bain et douches étaient très propres et semblaient être entretenue souvent.

Fantastic place if you don’t mind following Japanese ryokan rules

Great location, lovely view of the river. We loved our room. Futons were very comfortable.

As in most ryokan walls are thin but everyone followed the rules and were quiet at night.

Ottima posizione e si dorme bene

Ha un ampia zona comune con caffè e te a disposizione, il letto in dormitorio aveva tanti comfort anche una coperta elettrica per il letto . In ogni zona c’è una stufa a gas da poter accendere se c’è freddo. Posizione buona . Luk ti spiega tutto ed è a disposizione .

Non mi è piaciuto che le docce sono giù nella zona vicino l’ingresso che è di solito un po’ più fredda, lontane dalla camera da letto che sono al Piano di sopra . Al mio arrivo per lasciare lo zaino non ho trovato nessuno era aperto ed ho lasciato lo zaino . Il telo per la doccia purtroppo si deve noleggiare quando potrebbe essere in dotazione visto la lontananza con la camera, parlo per me che viaggio con uno zaino piccolo e cerco di risparmiare anche come spazio .

高山の有名な観光地の宮川朝市にとても近く、朝食がてら散歩に出かけるのに最適でした。

オープンしたばかりだったので、洗濯機がまだ置かれていませんでした。（近いうちに設置するとスタッフの方が言ってました）

Cold but still great

-The location is great -The room and bed are awesome -Good pressure and temperature in the shower

高山で泊まるならココ！！

有給中に友人と泊まりました。オープンしたばかりでしたが、トイレやシャワー、ベッドなど、とても綺麗で快適に過ごすことが出来ました。料金も安い上、飲み屋や高山の宮川朝一にも近かったので動きやすかったです。スタッフさんも親切に説明や対応をして頂き、楽しい観光が出来ました。ありがとうございます。

強いて言えば、自分は花粉症が酷かったのでベッドにティッシュがあればもっと良かったかなと思いました。

A Japanese cultural experience with a great location and nice people

Excellent location with a beautiful view of Miyakawa. The building is over 100 years old with large timber pillars giving it a rustic japanese feel. The rooms were newly renovated but in a traditional fashion. A 10/10 for a truly immersive Japanese experience

Went during their soft opening so not all facilities were open.

Newly opened traditional guest house

Was just opened so everything was brand new. Staff were super nice and helpful to recommend me places to go. Location is right in the centre of the city so close to the market and old town. Open after hours and could store my luggage when I needed. Super Great!

Some facilities were not yet open but it had everything I needed and will surely be even better in the future!
