More than I would usually pay for a hotel but wow was it worth it.
Great for work… helpful staff
Nothing… I really liked it here

Location, fresh feel, roof garden, very helpful staff
Inadequate facilities in the room, no shelving, no phone

Location only
Overpriced Hotel. Not value for money. Bad odour in hotel entrace and lobby. Rooms had no telephone so l had to call a staff member. If u r on roaming then its a problem. Coffee machine was not working. Housekeeping makes too many noise by banging doors. Housekeeping took my towels and had to complain and get replacement.
3.0 / 5.0
Breakfast was really good, especially the items not included or à la carte. The location is fantastic, and the place is new with great materials and decoration. The staff is young and well-intentioned, some are really kind and helpful while others a bit inexperienced for the level of the clientele. It would be perfect if it cost half the price.
For €600 per night, you expect more.
The room was small, and I had to change rooms since the first one didn't have a transparent window. The Wi-Fi was terrible, making it impossible to have work calls. The bar was freezing because they left the doors open in the evening for a while. There was no comfortable place to work or read.
During my stay, everything seemed complicated. When I asked for more bread with a side of hummus, I was told, "Let me check if this is possible," and then I received a charge for a slice. When I tried to have dinner at 8:30 PM, I was told, "Let me check if it is not too late." then I was kicked out of the hotel restaurant at 10pm and asked to go and sit at the freezing entrance area.
Another day I tried to have a side of avocado with my breakfast "the chef doesn't allow"
another day, i tried to get a snack at the bar "We do not serve snacks"
There was no room service, or at least didn't find the phone to call for it.
not at the level of the price

The hotel has a superb location. Just in the centre of Oxford town.
The hotel is simply not ready for opening. First the check in was slow and inefficient. There was no need to require a guest to show the same credit card used for booking when the room was already prepaid. Any extras or guarantees could be on any cards presented by guests. Second the room was still smelt of paint and apparently some further procedure could have been done to remove the smell. Third our hotel room could not be locked. Despite that they promised to fix the problem when we went out for dinner, we were told that the locksmith was in up north and hence could not fix the lock. Our belongings were hence left unlocked for hours. Definitely a luxury hotel requires a standby technician to attend to emergencies. Fourth, the door to the terrace could not be locked inside and others could actually come in via the terrace at night. This needs to be fixed. Fifth, we kept our luggage at the concerige after check out but when we came back to collect it, it was nowhere to be found. About 30 mins of searching and running around they finally found that they had mistakenly taken my luggage up to another guest’s room. Definitely the concierge should be more properly manned to prevent recurrence of such an incident. So the hotel could hardly be regarded as a luxury one and its service was far from satisfactory. That said we could see that all staff were trying very hard and were eager to do well. Perhaps no fault on individuals but definitely there is much room for improvement with regard to the operation.
